Fantastic experience: Dr Caroll was extremely thorough and caring

Negative experience: Came for my first visit that included a dental panoramic X-ray as a package I paid for. Later, I was told that X-ray is not available at the moment and promised to be done on my next visit (since I already paid for it) . 4-5 months later I came for my second visit and when I asked, Dr. Vinaya said "next time". If you want someone to take advantage of you,, come here.

Negative experience: Dr.Caroll is by far the worst Dentist that I ever met.I still suffer a year after the procedure to put crown in my tooth..I had no pain at all before the procedure, the tooth was broken and had old filling.I paid 2500 dollars for crown and since the first day I had pain,she told me that will go in a week..After 3 weeks I ask for appointment to see why I still pain and they wanted extra money,I explained to them that is not possible that,I paid for the procedure and is not done yet because I AM IN PAIN!!Anyway since then I am still pain.1 year after..Also they don't reply to emails,just to take your money to do terrible job and to take no responsibility....STAY AWAY

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Sydney. For three days before boarding a cruise ship. I had had a mild toothache off and on during my three-week land tour of Australia and New Zealand. It seemed to worsen each time I flew and i wanted to get it checked out before our cruise. My daughter’s friend, who is living here for a year, got a referral to The Dentist for me. When i called and explained my situation, they offered me a 30-minute appointment that day to assess the situation, and promised to make time to see me for treatment the following day if treatment were necessary. When i arrived, the front desk personnel were friendly and professional. The waiting area was bright, cheerful and looked clean. I had only a short wait before being called to go to an exam room. The dentist was friendly, professional, and she had read the form that i had filled out. She did a thorough exam, explaining everything clearly before she began. She answered all my questions. Luckily, she didn't think that I needed treatment but she gave me a prescription for an antibiotic to take on the cruise if needed. I asked her to email the x-rays and her notes to me so i could forward them to my dentist at home; she did that promptly. The cost of the exam was very reasonable for me, an American. I told my daughter’s friend about my experience and recommend The Dentist to anyone looking for a good dentist in downtown Sydney. .

The dentist was also friendly and thoroughly inspected my teeth, having taken X -rays beforehand. I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was friendly and relaxed. Although she could have done the work herself, given my medical complications she thought it would be in my best interests to go and consult a specialist.
