Fantastic experience: You receive absolute professionalism and friendliness the moment you walk through Subiaco Dental Practice's door, as well as a sense of assurity that you are in good hands. I've suffered from TMJ pain and migraines for years and Dr Alex was the one to start me down the right path to managing it all. Without his expertise, guidance and trustworthy referrals, I wouldn't be as happy as I am today. I recommend this state of the art practice whole-heartedly. UPDATE: Today I went in for my usual annual checkup. This time around they applied a short term dye together with the used of new technology - in simplest terms its akin to a high pressure water jet device to clean the teeth and indicate areas of bacterial buildup. This method was really gentle but just as effective as past methods - the bonus being that I could see from the visuals provided from the dye, exactly what was happening and the areas I needed to concentrate. It makes more sense seeing it rather than just being told. I've since eaten lunch etc and my teeth feel as squeaky clean as it was 5 hours ago. Fantastic. I've been going to to this practice for at least 10 years and I would never go anywhere else! 5 star service from the moment you walk in the door.

Fantastic experience: Just an updated review here 6 years after my original review. Still definitely max stars, in all regards. Honestly I feel like Steph and Alex are my friends, or family. Even though I live in Albany now I still consider them my main dentist and would only trust them with important issues. They always show me the utmost respect and kindness. I'm struggling to put into one sentence how much Steph has gone above and beyond for me - so I'll just say she is basically the most caring person I've ever met in the medical field. Alex is a very gentle, skilled, and knowledgeable dentist. Fiona is great too -this is also the only place I've gone to that I don't get a sore jaw and mouth for weeks after a clean. Great wisdom teeth removal outcome. Custom splints are perfect. They just seem to care more.

I was terrified of going to the dentist, but Alex really turned this around for me and now I attend regularly. I don't know how he does it, but he gives the best local injections - something I used to dread! They also run on time, which is rare these days. I have been a patient for 10 years now and couldn't recommend them more highly. Four years later... and I am still a very happy client. But even happier now with the new AirFlow polish - which takes the pain out of a scale and clean. Fiona used it on me for the first time today, and it is a real game changer if you have sensitive teeth. You guys are awesome!

Fantastic experience: This is my first time having the airflow polish equipment used in my periodic dental checkup and cleaning. It's a whole new experience, very smooth and comfortable, without the "drilling" feeling of old. It cleans thoroughly. I like it very much, bet others do too. It's clever use of technology to make dental care more pleasant and effective. Great investment by Subiaco Dental. Highly recommended to try it here.

Friendly, professional and always go the extra mile. I get nervous with dental visits and they use a gel which has made dental visits a breeze, I can hardly feel anything! Have had Invisalign through this clinic with great results. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: You know you’re in trouble at the dentist when they ask you which movie you want to watch whilst they treat you! (Elf, btw.) Point is I’ve spent a lot of time at Subi Dental Practice (thanks NHS) so feel able to comment. First off the dentistry is brilliant. Alex is a lovely guy and I’ve not had a moment’s discomfort whilst being treated. All the work has been perfect. When I had one minor post procedure concern (through my own fault) both Alex and Alan (the dental surgeon who operates weekly at the practice) were easily contactable and responsive. So comfortable, in fact, is the work that I once fell asleep during a root canal treatment! (A six week old at home was partly responsible.) Alex is very thorough in explaining what needs doing and why. I have the utmost confidence in his diagnosis and treatment plans and options. One of my best friends, an old university housemate, is a dentist who specialises in root canal and he took a look at my initial X-rays and photos and agreed with Alex 100%. But Alex is only a part of the wonderful service at Subi Dental Practice. Steph, the practice manager, and Beth, Alex’s assistant, are brilliant. Very friendly, caring, and professional. Steph is always easily contactable and is a pleasure to deal with. The venue is modern, clean, and welcoming. Very comfortable. I’ve never had to wait. It’s sad, but I actually look forward to my dental trips. My wife found it highly amusing I even went on Valentines Day…there’s nowhere I’d rather be.

Fantastic experience: People often say they hate going to the dentist for many different reasons, however I was one of those odd people who always said 'I love going to the dentist'.. It was only shortly after moving to Sydney 3 years ago that I discovered why, and it was all because of the level and type of care received by Alex and the practice. I was forced to find a new dentist in Sydney and immediately I could see why people didn't like going to the dentist and that I was very lucky at Subi dental. I found myself saying all the things most people would say about the dentist and fearing what was to come.. But as soon as I returned back home to Perth and visited Alex, I returned back to my original state and thoughts. And here is why. I am someone who has very sensitive teeth and have had most my life, I grind my teeth at night and need to wear a guard, I've needed to repair many of my teeth and required surgical procedures and I can definitely say since my first visit in my early teens I have always felt safe, well looked after and well informed of all my dental needs. Alex always gave me realistic and affordable options that met my needs and never made me feel pressured to do anything that I didn't want to do. Also the quality of products Alex uses are brilliant given the fact I have had most of my dental repair back in 2005, and yes they are all intact and in good shape. My first and current mouth guard is well and truly over 18 years old and in functioning use and worn every single night. So, I highly recommend Alex being the next dentist you visit, because you may turn into someone like me and start liking the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Subi Dental since 2001, subsequently now all my family, work colleagues and friends are in the good care and service of Alex and his team. From the moment to you meet Steph at reception through to Candice and Emma you are in totally good (PAIN FREE) care. In the 20 years of being with SD I have had dentures from knocked out teeth, mouth guards, invisalign, care and yearly cleaning. In my opinion SD is your best option for dental care and I highly suggest to see them.
