Fantastic experience: Hearts Dental are absolutely fantastic. After needing to find a local dentist to help me deal with an abcess, and later a tooth extraction, I found Dr Sue Lim. The definition of kind of caring. She talked me through everything before we did it and made sure I was nothing short of comfortable. Completely painless throughout everything. After multiple visits with Dr Sue Lim I can confidently say I wouldn't dream of going elsewhere. Fantastic practice, fantastic doctors and staff. Thanks again for your help. If I could do more than 5 stars I genuinely would.

Fantastic experience: We have been seeing Dr Qing for many years and are so happy with her. I used dread the dentist but Dr Qing is so good I don’t need to worry at all. Recently had a root canal done and was so quick and painless. We have also seen Dr Sue and she is also fantastic. Fantastic experience: I had both my bottom wisdom teeth taken out by Dr Sue Lim. Both teeth grew horizontally so I was worried it would swell and hurt alot, but Dr Sue was very gentle and gave me plenty of breaks when I needed them. My gums ended up fine and healed quickly! She was very patient with me and gave me detailed aftercare, you can tell that she’s very experienced and thoughtful! Highly recommend!!❤️

Negative experience: I went there for the first time for a regular cleaning but even though I had HBF insurance , I had to still fork out $150. Never needed to pay out of pocket in other dental clinics. They won’t tell you over the phone out much and just said it would vary depending on insurer and left it vague before the appointment. Don’t think I would go back and pay extra on top of private insurance.

Fantastic experience: Went to Hearts for a second opinion. Really thorough checks for the cause of tootchache. Doctor Sue practically dug through to the centre of the earth to find the cause of toothache and gum issues another dentist couldn’t explain and wanted to root canal.

Fantastic experience: I’ve always hated going to the dentist, but Dr. Sue made it an amazing experience. She was welcoming, friendly, and the procedure was smooth and completely pain-free. For the first time in my life I’m not dreading the next visit! Maybe I’ll even stop flossing so I can come and get my cavities filled more often… Thanks Dr. Sue!

Positive experience: I would like the doctor to show some respect to the patient. I don’t mind if the doctor chats with the assistant while cleaning my teeth, but she laughed while holding a tool in my mouth, which made it shake. Everything else was fine.

Fantastic experience: used to dread going to the dentist, but life had other plans when I ran into some minor issues. So, after a 5-year break, I finally made my way to Hearts Dental. Dr. Qing and the team were absolute legends—gentle, professional, and all-around amazing. I actually walked out wondering why I was ever afraid! Fantastic experience: Recently, I broke one of my front teeth and after much thought I decided to have the tooth replaced with an implant . A friend mentioned that he had recently visited a dentist’s surgery in Blackburn where one of dentists was also an implant surgeon and that they were really nice. A good recommendation really helps and off I went. The reception and waiting area were pleasant, comfortable and clean. Hayley on reception was very pleasant and efficient. The dentists themselves and their supporting staff were extremely nice, kind and friendly. Dr Sue Lim becomes quite literally the only dentist I have been to who gave me injections that didn’t hurt. She has a nice manner and a good sense of humour. The same could be said of Dr. Qing Guo the implant surgeon who welcomed me with a big smile and took me through what would happen next. She explained the procedure in a concise and easily understandable manner and mapped out the exact course of action and exactly how much it would cost. All the while making me feel comfortable and at ease (we did quite a lot of laughing too). In October 2023 I had the implant surgery. The thing that amazed me was how quickly it was done, Dr Qing made it all seem effortless and what surprised me most of all there was no pain, not during the process nor afterwards. Three months later at the end of January this year, I became the proud owner of a beautiful tooth that looked and felt like a natural tooth. The fit was perfect! I would like to give my sincere thanks to the entire team for making the entire experience easy. If you need dentists with impressive abilities, staff who are kind, considerate and with a good sense of humour, then you need Hearts Dental!

Negative experience: Time management is the most important for everyone. We've been there twice with appointment, but we still need to wait at least half hour to see the doctor. I don't know what's the meaning of appointment time for you.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this dental clinic! Dr Qing and the team at Hearts Dental are fantastic! Dr Qing is very thorough and diligent with her services and talks you through every step of the procedure to make you feel very comfortable. The clinic is very clean, modern and has great facilities. At other dentists, I have had to visit an external clinic to get an xray done, however, at Hearts Dental, there is an xray machine on site. The dental room also has a tv screen on the ceiling to keep you entertained during longer procedures. I am very happy with the work done by Dr Qing and only wish I had come across Hearts Dental earlier!

Fantastic experience: Writing this review from the perspective of a fellow dentist: My visit to Hearts Dental was overall a great experience would highly recommend. Came here because was a student of Dr. Qing back in the days of dental school in the University of Melbourne. All my treatments were performed by Dr. Sophia. My first visit was for a filling. Dr. Sophia was very gentle, patient, and is a perfectionist ensuring I have a good filling while being very efficient. I did not sit for long and the filling was done. No issues and no sensitivity, nice and smooth with flossing till now. I also had my wisdom teeth extracted here. My experience was a pain-free surgical extraction executed flawlessly and meticulously by Dr. Sophia with guidance and assistance by Dr. Qing. My lower wisdom teeth were on the verge of requiring referral to oral surgeon specialists. While Dr. Sophia was experienced and more focused in Root canal treatments and other aspects of general dentistry, she was willing to constantly refresh and expand herself to other aspects of dentistry. Dr. Qing, on the other hand, is a humble, experienced dentist with over 13 years of clinical experience who enjoys teaching students back in the days when she used to be a clinical demonstrator in Melbourne Dental School. Dr. Sophia and Dr. Qing are both lovely, responsible and caring dentists who truly put their “heart” in looking after their patients, and the clinic name “Hearts Dental” says it all.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sophie is soooo patient and professional!! My 5-yo brother had three fillings done with her. It is unbelievable to my family as he never opens his mouth to other dentists before. Dr Sophia told my brother a story of “catching bugs in his tooth” which makes him stayed in the chair, highly cooperated with her. Fantastic experience: I've so many treatments I needed to have done. I spent a long time looking online for the right place to get help. Fortunately, I've chosen Hearts Dental. Dr Qing Dr Sophia and their team are so professional and caring. I was always anxious about going to the dentist, I was so well look after here, they treated me with compassion and respect. Fantastic experience: Dr Guo treated my young toddler girls teeth with exceptional care and patience. She’s got so many tricks up her sleeve to make a young one feel at home. She’s even got cartoons playing so that kids feel comfortable. She is professional and friendly too. I would highly recommend her to anyone, especially children.
