Negative experience: I have been going to this surgery for last 12 months. The last visit I had in April was with the male dentist for a tooth removal and the service I received wasn’t even average. Yesterday I rung the rooms three times for an emergency appointment and was told today at 1pm which would be more than 24hours later. I asked don’t you allow for emergency’s? The receptionist said we have already had an emergency today. I told them all my jaw and face was swollen and I could not close my teeth together because of agonising pain. I rung another dentist in Kaleen at 3.45pm and was in their chair within half an hour. I had a split tooth with a huge abscess under the tooth which went down to my gum line. This other dental surgery stayed back for me until 6pm to assist with the painful removal of my tooth and drainage. I was in agony and could not have waited for 24 hours.

The whole process went smoothly, and my kids were happy and relaxed throughout. Best of all, there was no pain involved, which made it a stress-free visit for everyone. Fantastic experience: I recently visited Kaleen Family Dental, and I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. For years, I've struggled with stubborn tea stains on my teeth, and despite visiting numerous dentists, none of them were able to effectively remove them. However, the dentist at Kaleen Family Dental used a special machine that worked wonders. The tea stains that I thought would never go away were mostly cleared! The clinic was clean, the staff was friendly, and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend Kaleen Family Dental to anyone looking for top-notch dental care.

Fantastic experience: After losing a large molar more than twenty years ago, Dr Henny fitted me with an implant and crown. The procedure was done over two calendar years so I was able to claim twice on my health insurance. I'm delighted with the result. There were no complications with the insertion of the implant or the fitting of the crown. After such a long time, it's great to be able to chew properly once again, using both sides of my mouth. I would certainly recommend Dr Henny and her team of dental care professionals.

Negative experience: Wasted $850 on a dental splint to treat bruxism. I have been unable to sleep wearing it. I need a dentist who will explain my condition and help identify treatment and this is not the right dentist for me.

Negative experience: Never contacted me back a week after my son's appointment. He ended up very sick with a tooth infection after they told us to leave his tooth with a cavity till it fell out. Got our appointment wrong not a very nice bedside manner.

Negative experience: This practice and dentist Sadid Reza cost me 6500$ and a whole a lot of pain! I have first been to this place for a teeth cleaning and a check-up. Check-up revealed a decay and we've went for a simple filling job. A few months after the filling was done, it has cracked while having nuts. I returned here, and the former dentist was not there. So I was served by dentist Sadid Reza. Told him I got the filling in this practice, soon after it cracked and I wasn't very impressed with the service. He said their records show that it was another tooth that was filled there. Even though I was 99.9% sure, I gave him the benefit of the doubt anyway. Still told him that it is a cracked filling and I would like it fixed. He said, the tooth has a root canal done to it and it might be one of the nerves. I told him the root canal is many years old and doesn't make sense for the nerves to start getting sensitive again. He suggested to put a temporary filling to test out his theory to see whether it's the root canal or the filling. Again; I trusted his "professional" opinion, and said okay. After the temporary filling, pain of course disappeared. And a few weeks later, while having a hazelnut, the filling cracked again and pain returned. This time it was unbearable, and had to book an appointment asap. Again, I was served by Sadid Reza and upon inspection he told me the crack is now too deep and the tooth can not be saved. NOW THE QUESTION IS, DID YOU NOT FORESEE THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED WHEN I FIRST TOLD YOU IT WAS A CRACKED FILLING ? OR DID YOU FORESEE THAT IT COULD HAPPEN AND NOT TELL ME? Former is incompetence and the latter is negligence. Now I had to have the tooth removed and will need to get an implant that will cost me upwards of 6000$. Not to mention the pain I had to go through, and still go through while eating without a quite significant molar. There is also the risks of the implant going wrong. If he was proactive as he should have been, and mentioned the risk of losing the tooth; I would have definitely gone with a permanent filling or a crown etc something that would have saved the tooth. What kind of a dentist wouldn't tell you that there is a risk of losing your tooth ? And if he had listened to me that it was filling related, I could get a permanent filling in the first place and still keep my tooth. I have contacted a few lawyers and considering a medical negligence claim. On a separate note, I have called the reception for my medical file mentioning they are obliged to provide it under the Information Privacy Act. And the reception's answer is "We don't do that". Obviously, they are trying to hide a few things there. Completely dodgy practice, and will be contacting the relevant authorities to ensure they start doing things the lawful way instead of negligently putting the patients in danger and preventing access to their files. AVOID THIS PRACTICE.

Negative experience: The receptionist called me rude on the phone when I had to reschedule my appointment, but they called me 3x times to reschedule after organising my week. Need a better customer service and definitely won’t be back.

Negative experience: I was using wholistic dentistry for years before it became KFDS. All my personal records were given to this business without my knowledge or permission. I thought they would be the same high quality dentist so started taking my family. My husbands 1st experience led him to emergency surgery at an orthodontist as the tooth extraction failed. Quite traumatic. I had chips filled that turned yellow within 12 months. I then had a filling which I wasn’t told would need drilling and removal of part of my tooth. My son had over 8 seals done without discussion on how many or costs. The receptionist then for got to charge part of the bill and spent the next few months harassing us for payment. When we paid there was no private health cover applied. Dr Henry is polite and personable but there are better dentists out there.

Fantastic experience: I have had very good experiences with this dentist. Dr Henny is very gentle, she is knowledgeable and attentive. I grew up in a town that did not put fluoride in the drinking water plus I neglected them for many years as we struggled with demanding jobs. She patiently deals with all my dental challenges. Her supporting staff are also delightful. There is good parking though sometimes it is limited during pick up and drop off times for the nearby primary school.

I never have this kind of service somewhere else. My family go to this practice due to their excellent service, eventhough the waiting list maybe long.
