Fantastic experience: Bupa Dental Goodwood always goes above and beyond. Wonderful & welcoming service from the staff scheduling on the phone through the experience. The dental team is superb and always walks you through various options. Highly recommended!!

Negative experience: Honestly Horrible front reception staff. Specifically booked in for a late booking... had a call to say the dentist had cancelled my booking in November. to which I was only then advised that late nights and Saturdays are no longer an option at this store. Lady on the phone was incredibly rude and unhelpful when trying to find a different date. Id suggest giving the reception team some customer service training and even just some basic manners training. incredibly poor and will defiantly not be returning.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and friendly service Franco Mignone was very good , gentle and explained the procedure to me and I was given the opportunity to ask questions about the procedure and felt comfortable in his care .

Negative experience: My family and I have been patients at Bupa Dental Goodwood for almost 7 years but sadly we will not be returning. The service and care has gone down hill. At today’s check up and clean the dentist himself took a look at my teeth for 20 seconds! It took him longer to put his gloves on! The real problem at Bupa Goodwood is their wait times. Today, May 2025, I was told after my “check up” the NEXT available appointment for a check up is May 2026 - a year away. This has been an issue at my last few visits. I don’t know what I will be doing in a year. I might be on holiday, my work schedule will likely have changed. Its just ridiculous and unreasonable. Perhaps if they stopped taking on new patients if they cannot accommodate them and stopped allowing the current patients to book several appointments in advance, it would not be such a long wait. Its an unfair system and completely money driven. We initially liked this clinic because patient care was a priority but sadly this is no longer the case.

Negative experience: Needed to have a bad tooth pulled as I was in extreme pain. The staff were friendly enough but the dentist wasn’t confident enough to pull the tooth out so referred me to a specialist. Only took the specialist approximately 10 mins and it was over but a lot more expensive than it should have been if the BUPA dentist would have done it, as I have BUPA cover. Won’t be going back to BUPA Dental at Goodwood

Negative experience: My family have been with this clinic for almost 10 years. While we have always been happy with the quality of their service, in the past few years, it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get the two 6-monthly checkups that all dentists emphasise are so important there. That's because the number of patients they are getting FAR EXCEEDS the capacity that they can handle. For the last couple of times we went, we had to schedule TWO visits ahead in order to get close to the six months mark. If you only make your next appointment at the end of your visit, it is most likely going to be 9 months later. Surely they cannot keep taking on patients at the expense of existing ones. Also, their staff are not very good at following up queries and returning calls to patient.

Fantastic experience: Estelle and Geraldine took good care of my parents! Our family got the long term teeth issues: fillings, implants… Estelle do the teeth cleaning very well every time and also give them good advices for the teeth! Geraldine helped a lot for our appointment and quote advices! Really appreciate for their helps and perfect service.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with the clinic. My wife had a filling done by Dr. Sophie McNeil, but she experienced severe pain afterward because of an infection. When the filling was redone, we were charged again, even though the issue resulted from the initial procedure. Despite calling reception twice to discuss the matter, no one has followed up, and she ended up with a very costly treatment plan.

Negative experience: I didn’t have option to give 0 so I selected 1 star. They charge you without information. Main job is to swipe your BUPA card and get money from your dental allocation. When question is asked why so much as compare to last similar treatment. Answer is this time something special/ extra was done. Still problem still persist. Not going back

Negative experience: The dentists are good, Staff are nice and friendly, the best clinic I have ever experienced , however the only reason made me to give one star is the orthodontist they referred me to , he was a businessman not a doctor, the process and the result was so bad. It was a night mare and still is. The first day the orthodentist told me the treatment will take one year as I had just one crooked teeth and it was not really serious. He was working in three clinics so their assistants were tightened my teeth without the doctor check me for months. My situation got so bad in second year . I decided to get out of the treatment after two years and a half. My teeth are worse than before the treatment. Have your own research and don't rely on their orthodontists Under Australia law Bupa as an expertise is completely responsible of this misconduct

Fantastic experience: I took my almost 3 year old for her first dentist appointment at Bupa goodwood and the experience was fantastic. Edward the dentist was extremely kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Hard to know how a toddler will react in that scenario. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Like many patients I am very anxious about visits to the dentist. Due to toothache I was accepted straight away to see Dr Franco Mignone who explained everything thoroughly and with care, kept me calm for the procedures that were required. The dental assistant, admin and reception staff were friendly and efficient and overall I can highly recommend Bupa Dental Goodwood. Thank you and see you in July.

Dr Sophie McNeil was fast and efficient but kept me calm by explaining every step, no suprises. This is by far the best result I've had in years. She is so knowledgeable, and took the time to educate me on how best to care for my teeth. She also offered to apply a numbing gel to my gums as I have sensitivity. I was seen promptly and the dentist was great too. I really enjoy my no-gap 6monthly dental appointments here.

Fantastic experience: Bupa Dental Goodwood is our trusted clinic. Each visit is a positive experience for my children, myself, my husband and my mother in law. We don’t live locally anymore but we still keep coming back. We moved to the country town for 2 years in 2018 and as soon as we came back to Adelaide I ‘reactivated’ our records and now back in the system. They accommodate if I urgently need to see a dentist. My 4yo is very familiar with the routine and he responds positively well with different hygienist. I started taking him when he was 2 Dr Sophie McNeil was my dentist for many years. Currently, Dr Franco looks after my teeth. They’re both great, gentle, friendly, kind and very professional. We saw Dr David Hoh yesterday for my son’s appointment and he was great too! The girls at the front are amazing and very friendly!!! We have been happily attending the clinic for more than 5 years .

As someone who gets anxiety going to the dentist I have to say that Dr Mignone is extremely professional, very understanding and has a great bedside manner. The dental assistants are so lovely and go above and beyond to help make patients feel comfortable. The admin staff are friendly and efficient. What a great team!

Negative experience: Unpleasant experience. Did not make me feel calm or comfortable. Not enough numbing while working on my tooth. Wouldn't remove the tooth as I asked, gave me a dodgy filling and then at the end said " you may need to come back to get it removed in a few weeks".. NOT happy and will not return to this practice again.
