Fantastic experience: AMAZING experience. These guys have gone above and beyond anything that I was expecting. From the reception ladies that are amazing to the dentist themselves. My experience has been amazing. I have brought my 2-year-old daughter both appointments so far which the reception ladies have been happy to keep her entertained.

Fantastic experience: The best dentists that I have been to in Australia. The reception staff and Nurses are very friendly and helpful. The Dentists themselves are friendly, professional and explain everything in detail and clarify that you fully understand. The entire team did everything they could for me. Their prices are extremely competitive and I think you would struggle to find this quality of service and pricing elsewhere. They go above and beyond. I had a procedure yesterday and the staff called me today to check in and see if I needed anything else from them. I highly recommend them.

She showed a lot of patience and understanding when helping me with my payment, and made sure everything was processed correctly. I also really appreciated how well she received feedback and took the time to explain things clearly. Doctors were also very professional and used easy to understand language (Dr. Alex Chen). Highly recommend and will be coming back for future appointments.

Fantastic experience: If, like me, you've been seriously procrastinating on a trip to the dentist, fear not! Book yourself in with Alex and the folks at Kedron Family Dental. Dr Alex is kind, thorough and adopts a holistic approach to his dentistry. For example, he took the time to check my neck, jaw and lymph nodes, which surprised me as no dentist has ever done that before. Alex also asked thoughtful questions about my diet and carefully explained the effect of acidic drinks on the entire digestive process, not just my now oh-so-sensitive chompers. He also accommodated a long overdue filling without removing an organ to pay for it. Do I regret all the water with lemon juice (#health) that I've been guzzling recently? Yes. Do I regret my trip to KFD? No. Quite an enjoyable morning all round. Book yourself in!

Fantastic experience: I have a very anxious 6 year old, who prior to visiting Dr Alex, had been taken to two different dentists who both indicated they were only able to provide treatment in a hospital setting while under general. We were referred onto Dr Alex by Moorooka Dental Care & there are not enough words to express our sincere thanks and appreciation. The practise and staff are warm and inviting & the custom short videos we watched were educational and helped to ease my son’s anxiety before meeting Dr Alex - who featured in some videos! My son had a very complicated matter and under the guidance of Dr Zaheer Kadwa, they devised a treatment plan that would rectify some of the immediate pain for our son while taking into account his persona and being patient with his needs. Dr Alex and Dr Zaheer took the time to ask questions to understand our child, his likes and fears, and with the most recent Spiderman movie on - Jemmah providing additional support and reassurance, my son did not even realise he was given 2 injections, yet alone an extraction of a baby tooth! It all happened in under 5 minutes. Thank you for the exceptional care, skill and diligence. Thank you for removing the fear and anxiety & I’m told by my 6 year old that Dr Alex “ ..should be sent everywhere to teach all the dentists how to look after kids..” We travelled from the south side and I would strongly recommend this family practise to any family looking to build a long standing relationship with skilled care providers, who prioritise the patient.

Fantastic experience: I have always had terrible anxiety with dentists in the past. I’ve had a treatment plan done and today I had my first appointment here and I felt the most comfortable I’ve ever felt. Dr Alex Chan and the assistants made it so easy for me, literally I felt like I was just yarning with my mates. Super chill and always made sure I was feeling okay, everything explained so I could understand what was happening. Ladies at reception are always lovely. My last dental visit years ago elsewhere was horrendous so I’ve always been wary about having any more work done. Never thought I’d be giving a dental surgery a review but it’s well deserved. I would 100000% recommend coming here, no matter where you are in Brisbane. Just great!

He was efficient and reassuring and dental assistant Siabah was awesome also & comforting. No pain felt what so ever and was a very smooth extraction. He was consistently on time and during each appointment he was respectful and patient. His goal was to ensure that I was completely satisfied and I was!

Negative experience: I went to Kedron Family Dental on 27/9/2024 for an impacted wisdom tooth extraction. I was numbed with local anaesthetic and proceed the removal. The left wisdom tooth was difficult for Dr Zaheer to remove, it took him around 20 minutes all the while he kept saying how hard it was to get it out and started to use more and more force which was so painful, because he couldn’t get it out he proceed to use the pliers with more strength to try to rip it out which is beyond painful. He then proceeded to the right side which was fine and then stitched up both holes and told me about the care process. I was in a lot of pain and thought this was the recovery process but the pain did not stop for 4 weeks and I was not wanting to go back as it was not a pleasant experience, I believe he used excessive force because he could not get the teeth out which was already such an awful experience for me. 4 weeks later I have gone to another dentist for a second opinions as my left side is still very swollen and painful, upon 2 X-rays the dentist has found half of my wisdom tooth has been left inside the left cavity and is not removed which has been causing me so much pain. I now have to see an oral surgeon to have this removed and will have to out of pocket even more for this even thought it should have been done properly in the first place. I have called the clinic and spoke to them and was not supported or offered any sympathy or solutions. I didn’t feel this is right or in the best for the patients care or health Update: Was called up after this review for an apology, which follows for the following comments (Was only called once this review was posted) “I’m only human- everybody has bad days” “It was a difficult surgery - anybody would have struggled” (was never disclosed to me it was a difficult surgery) “I will offer a refund, since I’m helping out could you remove your bad review since it will effect business” I believe this was not a proper apology and very dismissive of my feelings and treatment. It felt like the concern was business or securing money. I now have had second opinion from a dentist and oral surgeon in which I have to pay more to remove the now “foreign body” of a tooth. I have also been disclosed this procedure of my wisdom tooth should HAVE NOT been done under local anaesthetic or by a dentist in the chair due to my impacted wisdom teeth and nerve being close. Due this the oral surgeon said I would have been in excruciating pain. I felt as if money is their main care factor, not really your health or the side effects and trauma I’ve been affected with for the past month due to this.

Fantastic experience: My dentist was Dr Milly and she was so gentle, reassuring, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend and will be keeping Dr Milly as my dentist when I'm in Brisbane.

Fantastic experience: I followed my dentist from The Grange, to Beachmere to Kedron. You find a good one, you don’t want to let them go. Sadly he’s recently left Dentistry.. I saw him for 20 years. I didn’t know what to do, so I stayed at Kedron. I’m so glad I did. The staff there are still fabulous, especially Carly!! The Dentists and Assistants are really so very good. I had a filling with Millie yesterday, I’ve not ever had someone so gentle. She was amazing. I’ll be staying at Kedron!

Fantastic experience: All the staff here are absolutely lovely. Milly the dentist is wonderful and all the reception staff are so kind. My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves Gemma the receptionist, and says she wants to give her a big cuddle.

Shantelle, together with her dental assistant & the lovely young lady at reception were all just amazing. I felt so calm and confident that I made the right decision choosing these guys, to let loose in my mouth. Unfortunately, we're moving out west in a couple of weeks, so probably won't have the pleasure of having them work on my teeth again. Fantastic experience: I am a white knuckle dental patient (a product of school mobile dental care back in the 1960’s) I had a crown installed all in one visit today (less than 3 hours). Totally painless. All staff were wonderful and highly empathetic to my issues. The practice is highly recommended, which is why I have been a patient at Kedron for the last 15 years.

He was scared and hesitant to go to the dentist, Dr Alan was very kind. My son left saying that his dentist visit was fun so we are delighted that he now does not mind going to the dentist.
