Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this practice! Dr. Sahand was really welcoming, thorough, and an excellent communicator. My hygienist was also great, (she was a temp but I think her name was Fatima). The practice itself is light filled and very clean. I worked as a dental nurse for 10 years so I am very fussy! Reception staff were lovely as well

My partner and I were able to book to have our teeth cleaning done at the same time today & both of us loved our dentists- they were very thorough and yet gentle considering. You’ll find the place is much more modern than the photos on google & the atmosphere is fantastic, a mix of kind staff and calming music! They even have TVs on the roof with relaxing visuals to set the mood! It’s great that they have after pay as well! We love Smile Works & will be back!

Fantastic experience: I came to Smileworks after avoiding dentists for a long time and found everyone so very friendly and attentive. Dr Bryan had a great manner and gave me a lot of confidence in his explanations and questions. Also, Trang, did the most thorough teeth cleaning I’ve ever had. And while every past cleaning I’ve had elsewhere has left my teeth feeling really rough and weird (even if they do a polish), Trang has made them feel like they’re brand new and super smooth.

Staff were really accommodating booking me in, the procedure was efficient and painless and I felt really comfortable with the dentist and hygienist. They offer Afterpay too, which is such a relief in this current economic climate. I’m definitely going to be using SmileWorks from now on!!

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Navakas Dental, now SmileWorks Dental Kensington, for more than 10 years now and couldn't agree more with the many reviews below. I used to put off going to the dentist but now my visits are simply part of my health care routine due to the care and quality of the service provided. I initially experienced exceptional dental care with Dr Andrew Navakas, who helped me overcome my fear of dental procedures and more recently with Dr Julian Bundun, whose is also an exceptionally professional and highly skilled dentist. And agree with another reviewer, you don't feel the needle! And thank-you and appreciation to Palak (Dental hygienist), for her warmth and care with dental hygiene. Palak is so gentle with the pressure of the tools that she uses that I rarely need the numbing gel anymore. It's also been great to see the clinic renovations and always a warm welcome from the new team on reception.

Suleka made sure to explain all the steps involved in the procedure, she was very thorough with the clean and ensured I was comfortable throughout. They didn’t push for unnecessary extra services, took their time to answer my questions, and I didn’t feel rushed out. I also appreciated that the costs, time commitment and process were outlined to me when I booked so I knew what to expect. The dental assistants and reception team were all really lovely too!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional appointment today with Hygienist, Trang. Trang was extremely dedicated and particular in her work. I have attended Navakas Dental (now SmileWorks) since 1999, and it has been many years since I have had such a thorough ‘Scale & Clean’. Trang also provided additional advice to assist in my ongoing self maintenance. I am hopeful Trang will still be at Kensington when I return for my next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Had an in depth consultation and examination from Dr. Annesly. Following that, Dr. Palak provided the best cleaning I have had in a very long time. The service was very professional and thorough. On a personal note, I have found the doctors and staff at Navalas Dental Care to be friendly and accommodating.

Fantastic experience: Navakas Dental squeezed me in for an emergency appointment at the last minute. Saw the dentist and treatment was explained to me so that i understood what was happening. They then also managed to get me in for a clean with a great therapist on the same day which has helped alleviate the pain I was having with my wisdom tooth. Definitely will be coming back. Negative experience: Don't seem to be that good with young children at all. I was just expected a very quick look or just shine the touch in her mouth for a quick check but it didn't happen. Spend too much time just to settle her which is impossible for a toddler. End up no check up and say probably teething, take to Ed if needed. I still have to pay for the consult and worried about if my child have a gum infection. Doesn't do anything really.
