Primary Dental Beenleigh

Negative experience: I was not going to write this review, but after today’s phone call, I am very disappointed. After raising concerns about my son’s first dental experience with Kristen Scott, I was contacted by Natalie. While she apologised and asked if my son was okay, at no point did she acknowledge the behaviour of the dentist or explain how the matter would be addressed. An apology without accountability or any plan to rectify the issue is not enough. As a parent, I expected reassurance that steps would be taken to improve professionalism and care, but this was not provided. This experience has left me feeling that my concerns were dismissed rather than genuinely resolved.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience. From Sally on the front desk who is a delight to Dr Albert who was so kind, gentle, caring and understanding of my fear of the dentist. I will definitely be back for the fillings we recommended

Fantastic experience: Thankyou so much to Dr David who is absolutely phenomenal at what he does. Not only is he lovely to talk to but he’s made me very comftable while being very honest in a reassuring way throughout all my appointments with him. As someone who has always been nervous about the dentist and their judgement and not being confident with my teeth, I’m now well on my way to feeling 10x more happy about showing my smile off and I’m no longer scared of the dentist! I would highly recommend him :)

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr Harry Tan for near on 10 years now. As much as I hate going to the dentist, I can trust Dr Harry. His ability to numb the mouth and anaesthetise the gum before any procedure is the one thing that has me returning to this practise for dental work. I have such a phobia with needles but am able to confidently sit, with eyes closed and have Dr Harry numb my mouth and take good care of my teeth. Reception staff like Sally,(who has been there as long as I've been going) will welcome you always in a friendly and professional manner and other staff are also as efficient. Negative experience: I should preface my review that none of your employees are the issue. I was charged incorrectly and rather than a simple adjustment was forced to jump through numerous hoops to get what seems a minuscule amount of money back. Your staff were unable to do a simple refund due to me being overcharged. You need to fix this to enable your staff to do their job.

Fantastic experience: Doctor David is very thorough and professional. Easy to communicate with and enjoys a bit of humour. Definitely be back for any future work.

Fantastic experience: Dr Parry has been exceptional. I have been to a few different dentists over the years, but I drive a good 40 mins from Brisbane to Beenleigh to see him, skipping numerous dentists along the way. For reference, I am a healthcare worker myself, and understand what good care looks like. I would always trust Dr Parry's knowledge and experience with my teeth. I required a wisdom tooth extraction recently, complicated by the fact it required an oral surgeon and I was working away at time. Dr Parry went above and beyond and helped me organise all the logistics. I cannot thank him enough.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Cheema made my experience for my routine checkup very pleasant. It was my first time visiting this dental clinic. Dr. Cheema and her assistant were gentle, which helped put my mind at ease. She was very helpful and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I will definitely be returning to this clinic for my future dental needs. I was also impressed by the fact that they offer Sunday appointments, which is very convenient for someone like me who works full-time during the week.

Fantastic experience: highly recommend Dr Harry Tan!! Explains everything he’s doing and why, has a calm, welcoming approach that makes me not feel afraid to ask questions and always asks for feedback. I have never wanted to see a dentist by Dr Harry makes the whole process so much easier and less intimidating. He is realistic and gives options, and not judgemental one bit. Fantastic experience: After having an emergency myself overseas with an inflamed cheek nerve, I saw Dr. Tan and the team and through the whole process of having a root canal then a crown. They were professional, understanding, explained everything that they did and provided all options. We also had to take our 19 month old daughter in for an emergency, they took her in right away and checked her over. I can't thank them or recommend them enough. Great dentist and team there. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting this dentist (Dr Tan) for many years and can only highly recommend this practice with Sally at the front desk. Very polite and thorough in what is done. I am receiving great information about procedures and available options. I usually don’t need a needle for work to be done, and I never had any issues afterwards. My fillings and implant are just working. To add on, the dentist sent me to my GP after finding a lump around my thyroid. It turned out to be nothing serious but needs observation. Thanks, guys, for the excellent service you do.

Negative experience: Lovely receptionist but not a good dentist! I called to check what price I was looking at she told me a price so I agreeded to come in then, then after waiting fifteen mins to actually see the dentist he spent no more than five mins with me took an X-ray that I had to hold in my mouth because they had no gauge things left to use…. he looked in my mouth once, then sent me on my way then to find out he charged me $146 when I was told it would cost $110 he charged me an extended consultation!!!! For not even being in there for five mins!!! I will never go there again or would I ever recommend them!!!!

Negative experience: Went in for a tooth extraction, they were pretty rough felt like my jaw was going to shatter, after that debacle was over got told everything went swimmingly, after about two days I noticed a lot of swelling and was in a considerable amount of pain I had a look in the mirror and noticed there was still a great deal of root left in there. Long story short I'm still in a lot of pain and $400 poorer

Fantastic experience: Dr David Parry is honestly the best dentist I have ever been to. He didn’t do any unnecessary work or x-rays and was cautious of my being pregnant. He explained everything being done and made sure I was comfortable. He was professional, caring and easy to talk to. Overall I am really happy and will continue coming here, I highly recommend him. He is trustworthy and won’t overcharge you like some dentists tend to do.

Always does the best treatment that will save my teeth going forward. I have always had poor teeth, so having a dentist who always works towards me keeping my teeth is very important.
