Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Enhance dental enough. My first borns ties were treated at 7 months old in 2020 after a long road as a first time mum trying to get people to Iisten when you know something isn’t right! We were finally referred to Enhance. It was at this time that as an adult I also had ties that needed to be treated. After my release in 2024 was completed it is then that I released what normal function is suppose to feel like. I no longer had tension in my neck or shoulders, no longer got headaches and finally was getting deep sleep and feeling rested. Fast forward to today after the birth of my second son we wasted no time in identifying and treated his ties at 2 weeks old. We noticed an instance change in our feeding journey which is something we were not able to achieve with our first born due to the lack of understanding and knowledge around ties and their impacts to daily life. Enhance are very professional and all staff members are genuinely caring. We are forever grateful to have found Enhance Dental.

Fantastic experience: Choosing Enhance for our 6-week-old daughter’s tongue, upper lip, and buccal tie release was one of the best decisions we’ve made as new parents. One week post-surgery, the results have already been transformative—for her and for us. Our journey began when I noticed our baby girl was struggling with breastfeeding. Despite gaining weight and me feeling no pain, something felt off. She’d fall asleep after just 3 minutes at the breast, exhausted from working so hard to transfer milk, and developed severe milk blisters on her lips. As a first-time mom, my instincts told me there was more to it. After a full assessment with an IBCLC, we learned she had significant oral dysfunction, and was recommended surgical release with Enhance. We appreciated how they informed us well with body work for pre-op preparation, ensuring our baby was ready. The procedure itself was quicker than we imagined, thanks to Dr. Jones’ expertise. Our little one handled it like a champ, and I was able to breastfeed her right after. The difference was instant. For the first time, she latched effortlessly, drinking deeply instead of fighting to suck. She drifted into a peaceful “milk drunk” sleep—no more exhaustion-induced naps—and even slept soundly during the drive home from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. It was an emotional moment, realizing she could finally feed comfortably. We know the releases aren’t a magic fix, and we’re committed to her aftercare: daily stretches, body work follow-ups, and IBCLC support for oral rehabilitation. But knowing we’ve removed a barrier to her thriving—improving feeding, development, and future health—has been incredibly rewarding. Fantastic experience: We are now 2 weeks post op from a Tongue-tie, Lip-tie and cheek buckle and are over the moon with the results. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!! Our 4 week old was struggling to gain weight, Struggled to latch, Struggled to stay awake for feeds and really struggled to sleep on his back. Since getting the ties released, He is latching so much better, Putting on weight, Having full feeds and staying awake the entire time and best of all...... SLEEPING ON HIS BACK. The stretches every 4 hours are quick and after a week didn't seem to cause him any pain, More of a nuisance really. We will carry on stretches for a further 2 weeks. Finally, The team at Enhance Dentistry were amazing. So welcoming and made us feel safe. Thank you so much!!!

Fantastic experience: How does one go about thanking those who have made the most amazing life altering changes to one’s life and body one could ever hope to achieve in a few short months. Changes that enable you to breathe easier, swallow far easier than ever one could imagine. My body feels amazing, tension has eased, I don’t feel like I am dragging my body around, anxiety has reduced. I also don’t feel as stressed and my facial muscles feel so much easier. My posture has improved & tension in my shoulders has decreased. My body just feels softer more flexible. Looking back over my life my body has made compensations to enable me to live a healthy active life, I always wondered why I had things like high blood pressure & other silent health issues. My body in many ways was coping and this was taking it toll on my health, as now I realise it was fighting to just do the basic necessities of live. It’s an organ in your body that can’t do it’s natural functions to it’s full capacity so therefore other muscles come into play that now have to assist. ( after all we can’t get very far not breathing or eating) What I find amazing this can have such a dramatic effect on one’s life and yet it does appear to be a an uphill battle for those who are trying to make a difference in one’s life. Out there from my perspective it’s basically unheard of especially in adults, tongue tie & all the other ties. LOL I now look at people I know who struggle with health issues and do wonder if they too may have restrictions. The word really needs to get out there and dentist need to learn how to look for it, after all how many mouths do they get to see. (how many times has a dentist said to me open your mouth wider & not mentioned or even known that I had one). Enhance team from the moment you walk into there clinic show compassion, care & interest, and it has an upbeat feel about the place. They really do care and it shows, this made me very comfortable trusting them and knowing that they to want a great outlook. It’s the little things that each one does, the welcome you receive as you walk in the door, the lovely clinician during the surgery who gently rubbed your shoulders bringing a calmness. Priyanka’s care, smile & encouragement. The lovely ladies who answer the phone. Marjan Jones with her steady hand, knowledge & artistic skills ( glad you became a surgeon rather than an artist). I also used their recommendation in using Catriona for bodywork, who was also lovely to work with. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I could count on my hand the amount of reviews I have done, but Enhance & Park Road Chiropractic deserves recognition for the work they are doing. Can I reiterate with Enhance team that if you do decide to go ahead exercises are important, I would actually like to say they are imperative. When you do them and watch your tongue at first a quivering mess and in a day or two or even the next day without a quiver in sight. My thoughts are your wasting your time if you don’t do them. (I am not a professional in this area so these are just my thoughts from my own experience). I have done Aqua Aerobics for several years & some Tie Chi & qigong but added yoga & upped the Tie chi and was very focused on maintaining a healthy diet. ( My thoughts again are that looking at your body’s needs for overall health helps us to have a better outcome).

From the moment I made an initial contact via email about their service to walking through the doors, we were met with warmth and professionalism from the entire team. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at ease, which meant the world to me as a parent. Dr. Jones was incredibly gentle, patient, and thorough in explaining every step of the process in a way that was both reassuring and easy to understand. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. Also a BIG shout out to IBCLC Sara and her colleague she was training. The clinic itself is spotless and modern, creating an inviting and calming environment and everything was handled with the utmost efficiency. Lovely reception/admin staff too. Thank you to the team at Enhance Dentistry for providing such outstanding care and for turning what could have been a stressful experience into one filled with kindness and compassion. I highly recommend Enhance Dentistry to anyone seeking exceptional care for their little ones (and not so little ones) with their lip and/or tongue/cheek ties. Fantastic experience: Enhance Dentistry and the team here have literally saved my breastfeeding journey and helped me mentally in so many ways. My bub had had extreme feeding issues from the moment he was born. We had tried absolutely everything and seen sooo many lactation consultants, doctors, chiropractors, midwives, dietitians, paediatricians etc. We have been on a dairy, soy and egg free diet since he was 3 weeks old and been triple feeding since he was born. He had a tongue tie identified at 9 weeks old which we had scissor released which made a slight improvement. I still believed he had a tie and potentially a lip and cheek tie present. After another 10 weeks of persevering with oral stretches I got into contact with Enhance after reading peoples reviews with similar experiences to my own. I spoke with Rachel who was the most kind hearted person ever who validated everything I was saying and didn’t make me feel crazy and booked me in for a consultation. After this call I met another IBCLC and explained my concerns with her but unfortunately couldn’t get in to see her until 3 weeks after this consult at Enhance however she believed there was also ties present that were severely affecting my babies feeding. I called Enhance to see if I could also book in for treatment at the same time. Rachel worked her magic and contacted the IBCLC to see us asap so that we could get the treatment done the following week rather than having to wait for Dr Jones to come back from overseas. Upon arriving for our appointment everyone was so lovely. We unfortunately had a bit of a wait time and my baby was getting quite unsettled because he was tired and hungry however everyone at Enhance helped me to settle him. Whilst the wait time was not ideal I understand this cannot be helped in the medical industry and the staff all apologised for the wait. Through the consultation it was confirmed he had tongue, lip and cheek ties which I agreed to have released that day. I started second guessing my decision after they took him away and I heard his cries, however before I knew it he was back in my arms. His latch was 100x better immediately. The difference we have had in 8 weeks is incredible. My baby is finally gaining weight, his latch has gotten better and is not painful now, after 6 months of triple feeding for every feed I am now only giving one small bottle a day. The business was clean, provided the best service and made me feel completely comfortable with trusting them with my baby. Dr Jones has such an extensive knowledge and was able to answer any questions I had. The reception staff and nurses were all so lovely and compassionate. Whilst the procedure was expensive, it was nothing compared to what we had already spent on appointments over the 4 months prior and if we had seen Enhance to begin with both my baby and I would not have had to struggle for so long. I have no regrets in the decision we made to have our babies ties released and would recommend Enhance to anyone struggling with feeding, even just for a consultation so that you can make your own informed decision

Fantastic experience: I first became aware of the existence of a posterior tongue time this year through our niece. I’d had an anterior tongue tie cut as a baby. My husband had not had his tongue tie cut so we went along to Enhanced Dentistry to see if he could be helped. Upon listening to them discuss symptoms etc, I started to wonder if they could help me too. I’d been looking for an solution to my tight muscles, all over my body and no one could help, a monthly massage relieved them for about a month. After an appointment for myself, I was told there was a good chance as I responded to massage. I had the surgery on the 3rd October, and almost straight away noticed more airflow at the back of my mouth. After a walk down the road to the Chiropractor, I went to the toilet, from that very first time my bowel and bladder worked better. It was like the wrong muscles had been turned off and the right ones were working. A month later they still work better. Also on that walk down the hill, I realised I could put my shoulders back without effort and my neck and shoulders felt softer. The next trip to my massage lady confirmed that my back responded better and she was amazed at how less tense my neck was. Negative experience: Went in about an upper lip tie and posterior tongue tie in a one year old. We were told that without the operation our child would have feeding problems, language problems, breathing problems, back problems and other developmental problems. We felt pressured to go ahead but decided not to. Two years later and none of the threatened problems have happened. UPDATE: It's now ten years later and still none of the threatened problems have occurred.

Fantastic experience: I would give them 100 stars if I was able to! The care and support we received from enhance was beyond incredible. Not only have they legitimately solved our feeding troubles, but I felt so incredibly supported by each member of the team, each step of the way. From the start when I called and enquired and spoke to the most magnificent receptionist who validated everything I was feeling and made sure we were getting on the road to recovery. There is so much knowledge within this practise I felt as though I could finally take a breath and relax knowing my daughter was finally about to get the help she needed despite so many other opinions about her mouth and how we didn’t ‘need’ to get all of her restrictions released. Anyone reading this please trust your gut if you are not sure about oral ties and come to enhance to get their opinion. I really think they have saved our feeding journey and I’m just so so grateful.

Fantastic experience: I am a professional vocal coach and voice rehabilitation specialist who had adult tongue tie. I also discovered I had both buccal cheek ties. My adult tongue tie was acute. This explains my vocal injury years ago, difficulty navigating singing, mental well being (performance anxiety), gut health, Breath, TMJ pain and dental issues. After years of delving into voice science and evidence based research, I found Dr Marjan Jones work at Enhances Dentistry and Tongue Tie Institute. It was The Breathe Institite in US who highly recommend Dr Marjan Jones. From the very first consult with my Oral Myo Functional Therapist Alisa, the warm, friendly, Empathetic front reception team, I knew I was in excellent hands from their dedicated person centred approach. It was important for me to be listened to and have my story heard. This was a big deal. Dr Marjan Jones and her team were extremely thorough in understanding my history and therapy in preparatstion for my procedure. The procedure (frenectomy to cut tongue and buccal cheek ties) went smoothly with the utmost professionalism, attention to wellbeing with holistic awareness. The healing and oral and body functional difference throughout my body have been profound. I would highly recommend anyone with a Tongue Tie or Oral Functional Disorder to contact Emhanced Dentistry. In particular adults with tongue tie. I can’t thank Dr Marjan Jones and Alisa Geusebroek enough for their clinical, and holistic, person centred care.

Fantastic experience: I am someone who doesn’t usually leave reviews however I do feel it is necessary to leave a review for Enhance dentistry. I was referred back in December by my IBCLC for my bubs potential tongue tie. I booked and then after reading some reviews I cancelled my appointment due to a few negative reviews. However fast forward a month my son’s feeding got worse so I decided to rebook after researching Dr Jones. Honestly I have NO IDEA how anyone could leave a bad review for the team at Enhance. Their kindness, patience and care my son and I received was perfect. I am a very anxious first time mum and Dr Jones was so kind, explained everything in detail and answered any question I had (and I had a lot). The procedure itself was so quick. I couldn’t believe the post care we received as well. Massive shoutout to Erin who is an absolute Angel and checked in well after the fact of how my son’s feeding was as well as how I was feeling. If you are someone who reads reviews and has been out off by some of the negative reviews they have received please please please do not let it deter you from using them. If you’re hesitant like I was go in for a consultation and meet the team first, there are no obligations and they are not pushy! Thank you to every single one of the members at Enhance! Fantastic experience: I had my tongue tie released (along with the myofunctional and physical therapy/chiro) last year as a 22 year old adult singer. I am a professional musical theatre performer, so the function of my voice, tongue and mouth are very important for my career. After dealing with tongue root tension and other tension-related issues resulting in a lack of freedom in my upper register (leading to use of stiff folds and the beginnings of some vocal scarring), I was recommended to investigate having my tongue tie released by my vocal coach. Through the pre-surgery myofunctional exercises, I saw an improvement in my posture, and have continued to do them since the surgery. I am very pleased that the surgery with Enhance had the exact impact I hoped for. Through releasing the tension caused by my tongue tie, I have access to significantly more freedom in my upper register. Where audible and visually-noticeable tension previously began around an E5, post surgery I can now sing up to a Bb 5 with ease. Gaining access to this freedom has created warmth in my tone and also allowed me to sing in a healthier and more sustainable manner. This has been particularly beneficial when singing 10 shows per week. Previously this load, accompanied by tension, may have led to laryngitis and other vocal issues. I am also a singing teacher myself and have now implemented the myofunctional exercises with my students, and can see the impact it makes on their voices with regular practice. Whilst there are obviously infinitely more benefits from having the release, particularly if it is picked up as an infant/ at a younger age, I would highly recommend visiting Enhance and getting the treatment as an adult, and particularly as a singer!!

Fantastic experience: Our little girl had her lip, cheek & tongue tie released by the phenomenal staff at Enhance! Their care for not only the child, but parents too, was amazing! They have been so thorough before, during & after her procedure, we can’t fault them. All issue we were experiencing with feeding are gone & bub is so much happier. Fantastic experience: Our daughter had tongue tie which was effecting everything. From latching, to breathing and sleeping. She’s now doing incredibly in all areas thanks to Dr Jones. Dr Jones is a wealth of knowledge. The best in the biz. From start to finish the process was seamless. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and worth travelling from another city if you wish to do it properly.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended to Enhance Dentistry after we found out our newborn had ties days after being born. From the first phone call to the appointment the receptionists, midwife & Dr Jones were so lovely, informative, friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns we had. We were lucky enough to be able to get into a cancellation appointment and have his ties done at 8 days old. The appointment was very quick and he was back with us within minutes. The experience as a whole was so quick, the staff had put our minds at ease prior and answered any questions or concerns we had. Cannot fault our experience at all, very glad we were fortunate enough to get a cancellation appointment and get the ties lasered ASAP. The release has helped with feeding immensely and our little boy has turned into quite the chunker and gaining weight so quickly now after not doing so initially. Cannot thank the staff at Enhance Dentistry enough for all they did for us!

Fantastic experience: Enhance Dental (Dr Jones and team) provided the best possible service and support for the tongue, lip & cheek tie procedure for my 9 week old. They were extremely professional and supportive, happy to answer any questions at any time (including before and after the procedure). We are now approx. 3 months post op and all the symptoms have essentially gone and breastfeeding is now a breeze.

Fantastic experience: We took out 3 month old to Enhanced for his lip and tongue tie release. It’s been 2 weeks and he’s a completely different baby (for the better) Dr Jones and he team are friendly, knowledgeable and so amazing. Our 2year old is now booked in for his and we can’t wait to see the results.

Fantastic experience: After a long and hard 10 months of being told our little boy had no ties and was fine when we knew something was wrong, we decided to get another opinion from enhanced dentistry and I’m so glad we did. Since getting the treatment done our son has completely changed. He’s so much happier and content and for the first time in 11 months he can properly feed. The entire staff at Enhanced from the lovely receptionists to the amazing midwives and the incredible Dr Jones made the hard time so much easier. Their care and compassion and well as incredible work made this experience so much better then I could have imagined. I couldn’t recommend the incredible team at Enhanced Dentistry more.

Fantastic experience: I took my 5 month old for a tongue tie consultation in January 2024. She had it previously released by a different provider in October 2023 but I suspected it had reattached and wanted Dr Jones's opinion. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and patient when I first inquired about a consultation as I'd be travelling interstate. From then, I only had to wait a few weeks for an appointment (over the Christmas/NY period). The pre-treatment consultation went smoothly with the midwife and a detailed history was taken of my daughter. Interestingly, she noted a high palate after a very brief feel of my daughter's mouth. Several IBCLCs, another dentist and 2 experienced chiropractors had concluded she didn't have a high/narrow palate so I do feel that part of the appointment was rushed and inaccurate, possibly influenced by confirmation bias. Dr Jones then entered and she carries a very strong energy with her, be prepared for that. She was extremely transparent about how she would examine my baby, how she would make her conclusions and the reasons behind each one. I felt confident that she wasn't going to laser for the sake of it but because it was needed. My daughter ended up with 3 areas of the mouth treated. I was invited back inside the facility after about 3 minutes and was able to have skin to skin and breastfeed immediately. Dr Jones and the midwife observed the beginning of the feed and checked latching. Then I was left to be with my baby. I missed the first follow up phone call and when I left a voicemail for a call back I never received one. The next day I called up the office as I suspected reattachment was already happening. The receptionist was very helpful in answering my questions and, as I wasn't local, suggested I send through photos of my concerns. I also need to mention that my IBCLC (Jo Molloy) was invaluable here as she helped me navigate early reattachment and open the wound back up. Overall, I can't fault my experience with Enhance and I do wish I'd seen Dr Jones the first time I suspected issues with my daughter.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Enhanced dentistry because my 4mo daughter had lip, buccal and tongue ties. The staff were so welcoming, caring and professional and took every step to ensure that the procedure was necessary. It’s only been 1 week since her procedure, and she is now effectively grabbing and playing with toys, and her hand eye coordination has improved significantly. She is babbling and having conversations better and it immediately improved her feeding. This has changed so much for our baby and we wish we didn’t wait as long as we did.

Fantastic experience: Could not be happier!!!! Had 8mth old tongue tie released with the team late 2023. The whole process was seamless. Easy to book into, within a reasonable time frame, parking provided (had to travel), genuine caring nature when we got there and genuine follow up during aftercare period. Bub has turned into a whole new person, taking developmental leaps & bounds since his release. Thank you to the whole team for your love and support. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic experience: After 5 months of on going feeding issues with my baby I was pleased to meet such a friendly and welcoming team at enhance. They all made me feel very comfortable, which I feel is so important when dealing with anything to do with our precious babies. I was amazed at the difference in feeding straight away, better latch, not coming off the breast, no more large vomits, no more sore nipples and suction like she’d never had before. Other things I noticed straight away was her tongue, she had never been able to lift it and now she could and her smile was also bigger. For 3 days everything was amazing, then from day 4 to 10 things went a little pear shaped and baby girl wasn’t herself and feeding wasn’t great. After day 10 things incrementally started getting better again. Now on day 16 everything is consistently better and she is doing great. Thank you Dr Jones and team I’m so great full for how you’ve helped my little girl. With still a long journey of duck feeding ahead of her I’m so glad she can now do it comfortably and with ease.

Negative experience: I'm finally writing this review after 4 years after I finally have the validation that I needed (despite my strong intuition). My first baby was struggling to breastfeed, I saw multiple midwives, chiropractors and IBCLC, and eventually was referred to Enhance Dentistry. Being a first time mum and completely naive, I turned up to the appointment. After a quick examination they advised he needed the revision and whisked him away before I could even process this situation. Next I'm hearing blood curdling screams. I walked away from that appointment with a deep feeling like the care we received was more about turning over patients for revenue rather than making sure he had the proper body work and preparing us properly for the procedure and recovery. I had my second son and breastfeeding was a breeze. When he got to 7 months he was struggling eating solids. I persevered and sought out chiropractor and craniosacral care to try and make sure he didn't need the frenectomy procedure. At 15 months I felt like we needed more help as eating wasn't improving. I called Enhanced and told them I just wanted an assessment and didn't want the procedure because I wanted to process properly to see if there were other avenues I hadn't explored. I also asked the receptionist how often they turn babies and children away who don't need the procedure, and they receptionist said she couldn't answer that (red flag). I get there to my son's appointment, he was assessed and it started 'he had plaque build up because of his lip tie, he's has a very restricted tongue. If this isn't revised it's going to cause xyz issues etc'. I burst into tears knowing exactly we this was going. I was told 'you need to be strong' and next minute they are swaddling my 15 month old and another experience of blood curdling screams. Doing the stretches on a 15 month old was nothing short of torture for all involved. He had excessive bleeding from the procedure. My husband was the one doing stretches because it was so hard as a mother holding my child down to inflict horrible pain all in the name of 'ensuring no reattachment'. This has permanently effected the relationship between my son and husband. My son remembers being physically held down while my husband did the stretches and it is inhumane. Fast forward 4 years. My son had no relief from this procedure (various speech + swallowing issues). We went to a myofascial therapist and speech therapist for 18 months. We were then sent to an ENT and my son got a lingual frenuloplasty under nitrous oxide (gas) and he also got stiches so there is no stretches. The ENT said the previous treatment at Enhanced was essentially useless. The laser just got superficial tissue and didn't remotely get close to removing the restriction. He also said the lip tie 'revision' looked as though the tissue was 'scored' but not actually released. For the first time in 5 years my son actually has relief from a proper frenectomy release. I highly recommend looking into 'lingual frenuloplasty' instead of the laser. It's more specific in getting the actual restriction released instead of the standard 'diamond' section under the tongue. It can also be done under a local anesthetic and be stitched after, so you don't need to do the horrible stretches. I believe IBCLC and other professionals are referring parents for the frenectomy procedure without proper knowledge on other therapies or long-term emotional implications. And if you go into Enhanced, I'm sure they will find some restriction to release. I have multiple friends who feel the same way about their experience. It feels like a racket. Make sure you do your research. Your child deserves you looking into other options before just assuming this procedure is going to resolve the issue. There's not a one size fits all procedure, and people should be ashamed for referring mum's here without a second thought. The emotional damage this causes to a young child is not emphasised enough, and its not okay.

My 4 month old had a tongue and lip release done here and could not be happier with the whole process. Dr Jones and the team is so thorough and make sure that ant other potential cause of symptoms are ruled out before going ahead with the procedure, a very multidisciplinary approach which I 100% agree with. This meant that as soon as the procedure was done, Bub and I were thrilled to see immediate changes. There was support all the way through, no question too silly and I felt completely at ease through the whole process. The follow up is amazing and the at home stretches are simple to follow. Negative experience: Attempted to contact enhance multiple times to be ignored. Called during the day and no one answered the phones so left a message with the promise of a call back and they never called back. Then called again twice only to be put on hold again and again. Train your staff (Lena) better so they can handle better basics of a basic job such as offering to call someone back instead of asking them to wait on the phone for 10 minutes.

Fantastic experience: Dr Marjan Jones and the team at Enhance dentistry saved our sanity. My daughter was 13 weeks when a tongue tie and lip tie was identified. She was seen by Enhance at 16 weeks. At the initial consultation midwife Erin went through the paper work, what to expect, demonstrated how to preform the mouth stretches and answered any questions we had. Dr Jones and Erin conducted an assessment of my daughters mouth - confirming a lip tie, tongue tie and two cheek ties. Dr Jones further explained the procedure to be performed and answered any additional questions before confirming consent to perform the releases. - we opted to have all ties released at the one appointment. After the release was completed the difference was instant! She was more “relaxed”, no longer stiff. She was able to breast feed, she had not done this since four days old. Enhance checked in with us a few days after the procedure and in the weeks following - they always made it clear we could contact at any time if we had concerns or questions. Dr Jones also provided contact details for after hours - we did not need this but it speaks volume to the support available. Pre-ties release my daughter had been experiencing the following (that progressively got worse as the weeks went on): - screamed everyday for 16weeks - Extreme air reflux - even laying her down to change her nappy would create more air - Due to the constant pain she had rubbed her toes together so much she needed antibiotics to treat the infection from cutting herself with her toe nails (at 12 weeks old) - Unable to latch - Unable to lift her tongue - Clicking constantly on the bottle - Did not sleep during the day - Feeding would take a minimum of 2 hours - Unable to be laid down - slept being held or upright in a pram - Tummy time was painful - the last week before the releases was the worst she was waking constantly and unable to be put down even for a moment - sleep did not happen for anyone in my house After the tie releases ALL of these issues stopped! My daughter is now six months old, her mouth healed over a month ago. She is a thriving happy baby - Enhance played a huge part in ensuring this. Everyone at Enhance conduct themselves in a professional manner. They are compassionate, supportive and they are the best at what they do.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jones has done laser surgery on my 5 and a half months boy and 5 weeks later including body work chiropractic my son was able to breasfeed beautifully. My son had stage 4 lip and to give tie. I cannot thank this clinic enough, this is amazing. Dr Jones was so supportive the day after the procedure when we had to go through this hard process and the clinic contacted me several times to follow up on us. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend enhance enough! I was very apprehensive and scared to get my 4 month old daughters tongue and lip tie revised but it was the best decision we have made! Positive experience: We saw Dr. Jones for my son's lip and tongue tie correction two months ago. I wanted to wait to post a review until things had settled. Overall the procedure went well and we would have it done again. However I want people to walk into this provider with some idea of what to expect. First we saw a midwife who walked through the procedure and recovery exercises (which they will perform on you to demonstrate pressure). Then Dr Jones came in and assessed baby to make sure the IBCLC diagnosis was correct. During this consultation time she also suggested that my son has a dairy protein allergy and that I needed to stop eating dairy, he had a few heat rash spots on his chest which have never been seen since. Additionally I was told I should be taking a specific probiotic for an extended period of time due to having had a short course of antibiotics a month prior. Neither of which I believe are in the purview of the dentist. They then took baby for a minute to perform the procedure and brought him back for a feed. The midwife stood behind me and grabbed my breast and scolded me for the way I held my son (the only way he would feed and had been discovered after much difficulty with the IBCLC). Fortunately my son is a keen eater and latched despite the circumstances. The office does follow up and an optional midweek check up on how the exercise are going. The experience left me with mixed feelings, but ultimately would have it done again but maybe stand up for myself and my son more.

A special thanks to Nicky who was so patient with me trying to do my exercises. Dr Jones really knows her subject and I highly recommend, that if you think you or your children are Tongue Tied that you have an assessment. It could change your life and the lives of your children. Fantastic experience: I had my ibclc and chiro recommend enhance for my sons lip and tongue ties. Erin was super helpful and listened to my problems without judgement or telling me I’m doing anything wrong, just helped guide me to latching and dr Jones was absolutely wonderful to deal with. She talked me through the process and made sure I was comfortable before taking my 5w old away for the surgery. He didn’t even cry! It was over within a couple of minutes and he latched on pain free for the first time in his life . Fantastic experience: I received treatment from Enhance Dentistry for my tongue tie as an adult. Initially I had thought since I grew up with it, it wasn't high priority for my health. I came across their website and upon reading all the effects the tongue tie could have, it described my health issues pretty well so we figured it was worth it to get treatment. It was much more beneficial for my health than estimated by staff or hoped for by me. I've had major improvements in my posture, my breathing is easier, my snoring has ceased, my core muscles move better making every movement easier, flavour is more rich, I digest and absorb food substantially better, my speech is clearer, I barely stutter anymore, and my tongue's new position has started much needed orthodontic repositioning of my teeth. The program as recommended by staff is well worth the time and money investment; the physiotherapy, chiropractics and surgery together produced a much more pronounced effect upon my health than I could foresee in just severing the tongue tie in a day operation. For any adults who have grown up with a tongue tie, like me you've probably adapted around the negative effects it's had on you, I would definitely recommend investigating whether you can have your tongue tie corrected with Enhance Dentistry

He stopped snoring that night, and he has eaten some foods that previously he wouldn't have due to their texture. Fantastic experience: I had my tongue and lip tie fixed as an adult and I couldn’t recommend it more! I didn’t even realise it was an issue until one of my health practitioners thought it could be a cause of some of my gut and back issues. After getting it fixed a year ago I’m noticing considerably less jaw tension, I’m not mumbling anymore, it’s way easier to clear my teeth with my tongue, better posture and less back/neck tension overall. Everyone who works at Enhance dentistry is lovely and I love going to every appointment. I wouldn’t recommend any other place to get a tongue tie fixed, for an adult or a child. Fantastic experience: I am an adult who got the tongue tie release and lip tie release. I wasn't sure what results I would get, but since having the surgery, I have an all over relaxed feeling. I didn't realise how tense I constantly was before. I find it much easier to keep my mouth closed, which makes is easier for me to breath through my nose (which also helps me relax). I sleep better and my partner says I breathe better in my sleep too. I am in more of a rest and digest state, so my body finds it easier to heal. The staff are also amazing. I had my daughters ties released 5 years ago and my sons done last week and both times they went above and beyond their duty of care. Fantastic experience: My 10 year old was having speech therapy and sadly not improving, I felt there must be something else that we could do. After a friend suggested he may have a tongue tie issue Enhanced Dentistry was recommended as this is what they specialise in. Initial consultation proved this to be right! Fantastic experience: My 4 month old had his tongue tie and lip cut. They did a fantastic job, barely any bleeding. Dr Barbra Jones and her team really made me feel relaxed with the experience and was very thorough with making sure I knew what to do post-op. 2 days later and my baby barely cries for his stretches and is blowing raspberries, so it mustn't hurt that much. We have also been off panadol for the past 7 hours with no tears or moans, just smiles.

Fantastic experience: I was so glad we went to enhanced to get an opinion about my sons lip tie. Turned out he had a tongue, lip & buccal tie! Dr Jones has an extensive amount of knowledge and was able to answer all of my questions. From my first step in to enhanced all the way through to post release, enhanced have been nothing but supportive and caring through the entire process. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to see Dr Jones at Enhanced Dentistry by my GP; he suspected that a Tongue Tie was causing some severe health issues. Dr Jones confirmed the Tongue Tie & I also had an Upper Lip Tie! I am 62 years old & despite my efforts towards wellness my health had deteriorated drastically! The procedure itself was handled quickly and professionally and after 48 hours we are already noticing improvement with his breastfeeding, reflux and gas.

Fantastic experience: First class service and amazing results. From the first phone call to book an appointment for my 6 week old baby’s tongue, lip and buccal ties the staff were friendly, caring, helpful and professional. They also provided a lot of upfront information about the procedure and manual therapy that was required pre and post surgery to get the best results. I was nervous about the treatment but the staff and Dr Jones were very reassuring. After Dr Jones assessed my daughter she recommended laser treatment but there was no pressure to proceed. The treatment was very fast, only a couple of minutes. I think my baby was more upset about being hungry then she was by the laser surgery. The first feed was magic, no pain at all. Since then we have been working with the chiro and lactation consultant to get her out of her bad habits of biting and chomping now that she can open her mouth properly. It takes a little bit of fiddling on some feeds but once she settles down and latches on properly the feeding is so much better. She is staying settled longer and her bowels are working a lot better. I would highly recommend going ahead with treatment through Enhance for any baby with tongue and lip tie issues.

After 2 months of breastfeeding in agony, a colicky baby, long feeding sessions, but continually told-the latch was good! The whole team, from reception, LC and Dr Jones made our visit so welcoming and was clearly a 5 star service. We have had 100% improvement after the treatment. Dr Jones is in a league of her own. Fantastic experience: I was recommended to visit Enhance Dentistry after seeking advice from a lactation consultant regarding my daughters struggle to breastfeed. She is my second child and from the moment she was born I questioned whether she might have ties as feeding her was so different to my son in many ways. I asked a lot of midwives and doctors about a potential lip tie as it was very noticeable but all assured me that she had plenty of movement to be able to feed. After 2 weeks I decided to have it looked into further as she would fall asleep at the breast after 2-3 minutes. I learnt that she not only had a lip tie as I suspected but also tongue and buccal ties. I made an appointment to see Dr Jones and was so thankful that they were able to see us in a matter of days. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful with getting us sorted as we had to travel to Brisbane. When we arrived the staff were lovely - from the reception to the midwife and finally Dr Jones, the whole process was easy and I finally felt like I had been heard. The procedure took a few minutes and straight away it was like feeding a different baby. In the days and weeks that followed feeding became even better and my daughter was as happy as ever. I would like to thank Dr Jones and the team at Enhance Dentistry for their support both on the day and in the days and weeks that followed as they continued to check in to see how we were both going. I would recommend for any mum who feels like something isn’t right when feeding their baby to reach out to Enhance for an assessment.

Fantastic experience: Our experience with Enhance was lovely! I never felt pressured into the procedure and Dr. Jones explained everything very well and brought alot of things to light that made alot of sense for issues our son was experiencing due to his tongue and lip ties. I am so thankful to the team for their genuine caring manner with our son aswell as towards myself and my husband. I wish we had the procedure done earlier. Day two and our son is already so much more relaxed and seem alot less tense and tight through his body. Even with the slight discomfort he has, he seems so much more relaxed and content! Fantastic experience: My daughter was mis-diagnosed with severe reflux by multiple doctors and child health nurses when in fact she had multiple oral ties which after research, have similar symptoms to reflux. The first 11 months of her life was extremely challenging. Molly wasn’t gaining weight, screamed in the car and when laying down, we had breast and bottle feeding refusal and sleep problems. Molly would try to eat and food would fall out of her mouth and she would try again and again so I followed my instincts knowing it wasn’t “severe reflux” and was led to Dr Jones at Enhanced Dentistry. My daughter was assessed and diagnosed as having lip, cheek and a thick posterior tongue tie. Dr Jones lasered all four ties and the care we received by Dr Jones and her team was amazing! We are now 12 months post procedure and our daughter has thrived since! She’s gained weight, enjoys car rides, can lay down comfortably, sleeps through the night and talks in sentences and LOVES to eat. We are so thankful for the care and support we received and would recommend Enhanced Dentistry with high regard. Follow your instincts and be your child’s voice... this beautiful team listens to your concerns and plans your care with a team of supports including chiro, feeding support, post procedure stretching education and they check in on you at home also. They truely go above and beyond and we will always be so appreciative for what they have done for our daughter and our family.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Enhance twice now to get my childrens tongue ties released both times the staff at Enhance have been amazing. They are very supportive and offer a welcoming environment. Both times they were great with settling my babies and making sure they were happy. Fantastic experience: We had our daughter’s lip, tongue and buccal ties released at Enhance and cannot speak anymore highly of them. From the hassle free booking in, to the initial consult with Midwife Caitlin and then speaking with Dr Marjan we were treated with respect and dignity the whole way. Dr Marjan’s care and gentle nature had not only myself at ease but also my daughter. The follow up care via phone calls with the lovely Brenda, who is so knowledgeable and answers all questions, just added to the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Enhance and Dr Marjan.

Fantastic experience: We went to enhance for an opinion and treatment for tongue and lip tie for our 1 month old. They were holistic and caring in their treatment. They were able to provide evidence based information and took the time to explain everything in a very patient centred way. Due to their links with other practitioners (LC, chiro etc) we were able to easily access rehab before and following the procedure. We have been very happy with the outcome and its impact on feeding and also their follow up and advice.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, transparent and supportive. My 4 month old had a lip, tongue and both cheek ties. All though the 3 midwives and my GP said that they were no issue. My girl went from severe colic and gas, to a complete new baby! I can not thank them enough. The only thing I would change is that I wish I had known about them sooner to save my poor baby the pain and sleepless nights! Since having my daughters done, I myself as an adult had been identified with ties. I had my myofunctional therapy with Grace prior and post which was challenging however I noticed a difference straight away how much easier the basic functions of my tongue were post release due to this prep work. My neck was instantly more relaxed and a better range of movement. I’d highly highly recommend for adult releases as well as babies / young children.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Enhance Dentristry from the Australian Breastfeeding Facebook page after being refused consults elsewhere and having issues with my 6wo little girl. She had all the classical symptoms of ties and upon our consult, it was found she did in fact have lip and tongue tie. Caitlin was so extremely passionate and full of information! Dr Jones was extremely warming and supportive as well! The difference it has made, from the moment the revision was made has been unbelievable! Fantastic experience: Extremely happy with our experience at enhance. My daughter had 4 ties corrected and the kindness and compassion shown by all staff was excellent. It was difficult talking about and seeing my baby go through the procedure but the reassurance and understanding shown by Dr Jones and the staff helped so much. The support afterwards was great with weekly calls to check how we were going with aftercare and feeding. We have had such a positive outcome and our breastfeeding relationship has improved significantly and baby is now happy, thriving and meeting her milestones.

Fantastic experience: I first came to enhance dentistry regarding my 6 year old daughter. In addition to my daughters tie I began to investigate my own. It was such an eye opening Experience. Dr Jones doesn’t just look in your mouth, she looks at the affect on your whole body inside and out. Also what I really appreciated was she doesn’t over promise. She is very realistic with the potential benefits. Having gone through the laser release with my daughter and myself I can tell you that we were up and running the next day. Yes a bit sore for a couple of days but well prepared by the team to manage it. As a parent we often put our children first but sometimes we need to make sure we take care of ourselves as well. While my daughter has experiences some fantastic improvements (and we have prevented many more as she ages) which I could list, it was my results that’s I feel I need to share. I will add these were Instant improvements. I’m one week post release and yet to gain the full benefit long term. 1. Clearing of my sinuses during the actual release 2. Massive increase to my neck mobility 3. No more TMJ pain 4. Better digestion 5. Less sneezing and hay fever symptoms 6. No more Sacroiliac Joint pain I have suffered with for 20years 7. No more feeling of having a frozen shoulder and carpel tunnel (it felt like I have had this for 7 years but nerve testing showed my nerves worked fine) 8. Significantly lower anxiety 9. Muscles feel extremely relaxed So this is my story at age 40 and everyone’s journey will be different. If you are going to check your kids and they are tied, know that it’s probably affecting one of their parents also. TT releases aren’t just for breastfeeding. You have no choice but to feel that your babies are in the best hands with such a sensitive procedure and you’ve made the right decision as a parent. Fantastic experience: Felt very reassured and in control. It’s a scary experience taking your little baby for a procedure that will be upsetting for them. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from the team at Enhance Dentistry and Dr Jones. We were well taken care of and all of our questions answered. There was no pressure or rush to follow through after the consultation and they made sure they had your consent before giving her anything including the calming drops at the start. There were no surprises and we were given a lot of support both before and after.
