Fantastic experience: Amazing my appointment turned into a 4 hour appointment they managed to shuffle everything around and fix my tooth after making a last minute appointment online at 11pm the night before. Fantastic experience: Had some missing teeth and needed my smile back. Dr Akshay gave me the best temporary smile while we waited for the final product. Fantastic experience: Today I attended my first dentist appointment in 33 years. I was very nervous and stressed but I can honestly say once I meet Dr Simrat Sandhu and her nurse I started to feel less nervous. She asked me a few questions and then proceeded to examine my teeth. She was very gentle and gave me lots of reassurance through the process. After the examination Dr Sandhu explained to me what will be the plan to help get my teeth healthy and how to make sure I don't have any more problems. I have made a follow-up appointment so I will be going back and having a few sessions so I can look forward to getting the best treatment for my teeth and as I'm ageing I really have to keep my teeth healthy. I have had a very traumatic experience before and had vowed not to visit any dentist unless its an emergency. The word dentist brought nightmares to me. Negative experience: Went in for a routine check up, had to tell them to stop several times as they had tools shoved so far down my throat that I couldn't breathe. They also did a few hundred dollars worth of extra work without my consent. Will never go back here.

Fantastic experience: Byford smiles provided top level dental work, after going to an old school dentist for years and finally making the change it was great to see the new technology being implemented. The dentist and her offsider carried themselves with great professionalism and instantly made me feel comfortable. The admin staff were very friendly it was good to see the old fashion hospitality being provided. The workplace gave off a non clinical feel, which i thought was great. Fantastic experience: I have to give big kudos to Dr Dalvi at Byford Smiles. I have had many teeth taken out and usually suffer for about a week after. He told me that by day 2 it will feel like I’d had nothing done and I thought ‘yeah right’. He was correct. I had two teeth out (one was a wisdom tooth) and the method he uses reduces trauma to the gum and a fast recovery. He explained everything he was going to do, was very reassuring and counted down every time he injected the local. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: I went for an appointment after seeing the advert for implants and saw Dr Abhi. The reason I wanted to investigate an implant was that I did not have a bottom second molar and the top second molar was getting lower as it had nothing to bite on and food was getting stuck. He recommended that I put an implant and he may need to grind the top molar later. I got two other opinions including one from an orthodontist and both their opinions was that the issue was with the top molar and it would be very difficult to push it up so putting an implant in the bottom will not help and the best treatment was to take the top molar out as I had sufficient other teeth. So my advice is to always get a second opinion especially from an orthodontist to make sure you are getting the correct treatment.

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Byford Smiles have been amazing throughout my families dental treatment, from exams, scale n cleans, restorations, crowns and root canal treatment (RCT), everyone is extremely friendly and all staff are very efficient. The clinic clean and hygienic and the ladies at the front desk are amazing. Dr Alefia Mithaiwala immediately puts you at ease with her welcoming, warm, calm and sweet demeanour. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. She even came into work to see me as her patient while she was on holidays. She 100% cares about her patients. Both Dr Alefia and Abhishek 'Abhi' Singh have both been amazingly supportive throughout my long standing treatment. Both the Dr’s made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plans are actionable with the patients best interest in mind. Thank you to both of you. Fantastic experience: Dr Natasha has been doing my dental work for well over a year now. She is always very accommodating to me and my needs. She is very gentle when numbing me up and whilst doing my treatments etc she explains what’s next to help relieve some of my anxiety. Fantastic experience: Having a fear of going to the dentist, I had put it off for way too many years. All the staff at Byford Smiles couldn't have been any kinder or more supportive of me. They took extra time to make sure i was comfortable and breathing, especially Mrs Sandhu and her assistant who are so lovely! I have been several times now and they have got me feeling alot better about my appointments. They also offered me great advice on health insurance and options to try and make the process financially viable.

Negative experience: Not good don't go there
Fantastic experience: I’ve recently moved to the area. I’ve had negative experiences with dentists in the past but was absolutely blown away by the kindness, compassion and patience of Byford Smile today. I haven’t been looking after my oral hygiene fur over a year due to declining health but they were non judgmental, and understanding. The dental assistant held my hand during the anaesthesia and they both explained every step of the procedure as we went along, i can’t thank them enough for their understanding and kindness. I have extremely sensitive teeth and had pretty much zero discomfort during the process of having a couple of cavities filled. So very glad i’ve found such wonderful people to help me get my teeth back to good health again. Highly recommend to everyone.

Fantastic experience: The appointment starts with a friendly welcome from Tanya, and Mari who I met latter. While waiting for my procedure I had a chance to use the massage chair in the reception area, it helped to relax me. Nurse Maryan settled me into the patient's chair and looked after me during the procedure, including setting up the music I wanted to listen to. I had a choice of movies I could have watched if I wanted. The VERY GOOD Dr. Abhishek Singh ( Abhi) took care of the business end. For someone who hates needles especially in the mouth, I couldn't ask for anyone more gentle, it was indeed painless. Dr. Abhi explains the procedure very well and answers any questions in an easy to understand way. Did I mention how modern and up to date the practice is? I had a couple of caps done, on adjoining teeth. The moulds and finished products were all done in house, on some rather impressive high tech equipment. Thanks to all staff at Byford Smiles for caring and making my time as best as could be, God Bless.
