However, I quickly realised I had nothing to worry about—Dr. Yiu stepped seamlessly into the role. His work is excellent, meticulous, and painless. Fantastic experience: I had a root canal and crown done two years ago, but the tooth started hurting again recently. My dentist said I needed a second root canal, but it was complicated and referred me to a specialist or removing the tooth. I was in severe pain at the time and couldn’t wait a week to see the specialist. I found Dr. William online and booked a consultation. After examining the tooth, he explained that he could do the second root canal treatment immediately, without removing the existing crown. I even didn't need a new crown. Dr. William was professional, explained everything clearly, and gave me treatment options. The pain was gone after the first visit. He saved me time, money, and a lot of stress. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: 3 years on have just completed initial stage of dental implant replace a removed tooth. William and team were very precise with the intricate procedure using the old adage "measure twice cut once" which gives confidence of success with minimal side effects. By night it has already settled down considerably with minimal discomfort. Have been coming to see William for the past 5 years at various clinics and now at his own clinic. He has provided great service in managing my not so good teeth in a way that suites me. As an older person my looks are not so critical but the functionality and heath of my teeth are important to me, to be able to enjoy the food I like to eat including sweets like Turkish delight. He tries to maintain a minimalist appQ,roach which is somewhat diffi cult for him when I a2come in with huge cavities but keeps on encouraging me to better maintain my teeth, which is improving. My wife also now goes to him being conveniently located at Chatswood. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: After spending thousands of dollars, I’ve finally come to a conclusion: poor medical skills and overpriced services. 在这里花了几千刀以后，我终于确定这家诊所医术不行，并且收费偏高。 I’ve been seeing Dr. William at this clinic for many years because he speaks Chinese and the location is relatively convenient. Both the doctor and the front desk staff have always been very friendly, which made me keep coming back—even when I had doubts about the results. Maybe it was just habit. I’ll simply share a few facts: 1. The first time I had a filling here, it was for a front tooth. The material fell out the very next day. I called the Dr. William, and he was polite and fixed it immediately. I assumed it was just a fluke and didn’t think much of it. 2. I had a dental crown done here, and it came off after just around half year. At the time, I wasn’t in Australia and should’ve had it repaired locally. But I called Dr. William and he advised me to fly back to Australia for the repair. Over ten days later, I returned and had it reattached. When I asked if it would be done free of charge, he said the problem was due to how I used the crown—my chewing habits—so I ended up paying a hefty bill. 3. Not long after the crown was reattached, that tooth started to become sensitive (it hadn’t been before—I’m not sure if it was damaged during the grinding process). He recommended a root canal. I agreed, but after the procedure, the pain kept coming back. This happened over the Christmas and New Year period, and my face was swollen and extremely painful for days. He prescribed antibiotics, but they didn’t help. I had to keep taking painkillers just to get by. 4. While traveling in Melbourne, I had a CT scan done at a local clinic. Dr. William later said he couldn’t open the file, so I had to pay an extra $200 to have another scan done using his equipment. When I asked for a copy of that scan, the staff seemed very reluctant to give it to me—and I never actually received it. (Later, I went to another clinic, and they opened the Melbourne CT instantly. The Melbourne clinic mentioned that viewing such CT scans should be standard in any dental practice. Sunrise Dental didn’t have the proper system, and yet charged me extra just to view the file.) 5. The Melbourne dentist said the CT clearly showed an untreated root canal, which was likely the cause of my pain. But Dr. William said he couldn’t be sure and recommended an extraction. Before going through with it, I went to another dental clinic in Sydney. That dentist opened the CT without issue and immediately identified the untreated root. He treated it on the spot, and the procedure was successful. 6. My child also had a filling done here by Dr. William, but it turned out the decayed area hadn’t been cleaned properly. Now it has to be redone. 7. I’ve also had concerns about the number of X-rays taken. Sometimes they seemed unnecessary, yet the doctor would casually take one and charge $50 each time. After switching to a new clinic, I realized that prices here are generally quite high. Conclusion: The staff is friendly, but I have serious doubts about the clinic’s dental expertise. It’s okay for basic checkups, but for advanced care, I recommend exploring other options. I trusted them for years and was ultimately very disappointed.

I am usually very nervous and scared of seeing a dentist, but my whole experience with Dr William was great. I felt really relaxed for the whole journey. The dentist was also very professional and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure. I will be going back in a couple of months to replace the bridge and I am looking forward to it.

Second time was a deep clean for myself and the third time having my wisdom tooth taken out. I wanted to wait until all the treatments were done before I write this review. I picked this clinic due to their good reviews. The receptionists were friendly and helpful. They always picked up the phone and were able to answer inquiries quickly. Dr William has a good bedside manner and he's professional. He always took the time to explain to me what he was doing. The clinic is clean and roomy, it has new equipments e.g. 3D scan etc. It gave me the confidence that I finally took the plunge for my wisdom tooth that was growing sideways to have taken out by William. Obviously it was the last thing I wanted to go through. During the procedure, William was patient and careful with his approach. My face didn't swell at all and it took me a few days to heal. Their charges are reasonable especially if you are a smile.com.au member or have health insurance. I am pleased that I have found a good dentist whom I can trust.

Fantastic experience: I got a treatment session today with Dr William. The provided services at Sunrise Dental is exceptional. I got an oral examination and calculus removal. Based on my circumstance, Dr William advised me to take a x-ray to make sure all of my wisdom teeth are healthy. And it turned out that I would need to have a surgery extraction to prevent any negative impact in the future although I haven't experienced any toothache at the momment. Much appreciate for advices and highly recommend this dental clinic.
