Fantastic experience: Just had my fillings done today by Dr Nikka and her lovely nurse! I was soo anxious, but they made me feel so comfortable. Reception was also so lovely! I actually had a relaxing time thank you Dr Nikka & team!!!

It was great to have an actual dentist and not a hygienist cleaning my teeth (although my last hygienist was brilliant) and educating me without the dentist coming in at the end to “check everything” and add another $100 and something to the bill. I was a “walk-in” and Simone took the time to chat to me and match me to the right dentist for me. Lucinda was great! Love that extra attention Simone. The first port of call person is the most important of any business. Won’t be looking elsewhere. This is my new place.

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr Frank after years of avoiding the dentist and being incredibly needle-phobic. I was comforted by the clean and modern clinic and an incredibly empathetic, understanding and non-judgemental approach. I had a painless and stress-free root canal and multiple fillings. After years of avoiding the dentist, I genuinely look forward to dental appointments now (and haven't needed any more fillings now that I attend regular checkups and cleans). Sent a relative here to remove his wisdom teeth, who also received high-quality care and a painless and quick recovery. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I cannot describe how poorly my partner was treated with respect to his urgent dental needs. The care provided at this clinic, was utterly inadequate and the service provided was a breach of what I had assumed was a basic duty of care by the dental association of Melbourne DO NOT GO THERE EVER

Fantastic experience: Warm, welcoming and accommodating. The clinic was also clean and modern. The facilities were beyond any clinics I have been. Doctor Nikka was transparent about the procedures and the prices: she explained everything so well. Apart from being an excellent dentist, she’s also a very lovely person. Throughout the visits, I felt like the patients’ comfort was their priority.

Fantastic experience: I went there for an emergency dental appointment and they were so kind thank god for insurance but they were able to help me and set up a payment plan for me and the dentist was just incredible and kind and played the Simpsons whiles I had an X-ray and everything done and he explained everything so well and was completely honest with me. 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Edit: Just wanted to update this review because I've now been going to Abbotsford Dental for 6 years and the quality has never dropped! Now after having seen Dr Son and Dr Zia, I can say that Abbotsford Dental (and Stanley St Dental) is just the best. Dr Zia is currently taking me through the teeth straightening process and has been amazing with providing me with any information that I might need to know to make an informed decision - she is like this in all of her appointments, where everything is explained and there are no surprises. You can tell that she's really passionate about her job and is happy to talk "teeth" all day. I also love that all of the staff are up-to-date with the latest technology and research, meaning that their patients are getting the best care. Great service - first time I'd ever had my teeth professionally cleaned and was a bit apprehensive. But, it was quick, painless and my teeth felt amazing afterwards. Dr Nikakhtar also gave me practical advice for how to keep my teeth healthy and also walked through the x-rays with me so I knew what was going on. All of the practice staff are also really friendly! Highly recommended

I’ve had years of bad experiences until I found Abbotsford Dental about 5 years ago and have never looked back. Tina is by far the best dentist I’ve had - gentle but efficient and Tina made the process comfortable (let’s be honest, few people enjoy going to the dentist but Tina made it an easy experience). The receptionist was also great, friendly and helpful. The clinic has recently been renovated so it’s a very clean and lovely space. They are upfront about the likely costs so it’s a welcome ‘no surprises’ approach (at other clinics in the past, they add on x-rays and other services without an estimate upfront and that can lead to bill shock). For anyone looking for a great dentist, I’d highly recommend Abbotsford Dental Clinic.

With that i rely on google reviews. i’ve read so many reviews online and Abbotsford Dental Clinic stood out the most. Plus, it is walking distance too. Had my first visit today and i must say the whole procedure wasn't that terrifying at all. Dr Frank was nice, thorough with his check ups and he knows how to make a person who has lots of anxiety calm. Dont forget the nurses, all smiles which i appreciate.. and the beautiful lady at the front… super kind! Oh did i mentioned there’s a tv up in the ceiling? Yep, there’s one, so that’s good to keep your mind distracted whilst he clean/fix your teeth. Thanks for making me comfortable earlier. I appreciate it!

Everything was explained upfront, all of my questions were considered and answered without judgement (no matter how many or how silly they were looking back) and the pricing is very fair - very good value for money! The practice is very clean and all of the staff are friendly and make you feel at ease. I first came here when I broke my tooth and I was so impressed by the quality of Dr Frank’s work and his ability to save my tooth that I came back to have more complex work done (the result of going to other dentists who did more damage than good). I went to see Dr. Frank 2 months before my wedding so I was a little nervous at first but I didn’t need to worry at all - he is a perfectionist when it comes to dental work and I couldn't have been happier with the results of his work. I was very happy with the service from Abbotsford dental clinic. Thank you! Fantastic experience: About a year ago I came to frank after a bike accident with 2 very painful teeth as result of that accident. I lived in the same street that time so didn’t even think of checking other dental clinics out. And i didn’t get disappointed. Frank sorted all paperwork with the tac for me and I felt very well looked after and never had a doubt my teeth would be fixed. A year later and several treatments later I got 2 new teeth which are looking fantastic. I still go to frank for my check ups and highly recommend everyone doing the same. For over 10 years I had a lot of fear and anxiety of going to the dentist. I basically had a very traumatic experience as a teenager that left me in a lot of pain and tears. On top of that, the cost of going has always been a deterrent. But this year I had some dental issues that really needed to be addressed. I happened to stumble across Abbotsford Dental during my thorough Google search of “Good Melbourne Dentists”. I was immediately drawn to their 5-star rating and really positive reviews from people who had a lot of fears like I did. I bit the bullet and made an appointment to see them. From the outset, Simone (who manages the reception area) was extremely welcoming and kind. I immediately felt at peace knowing I was in good hands. The whole space is extremely clean, well lit, spacious and inviting – compared to other practices and clinics that can often look too cold and sterile. Frank the Dentist, is definitely someone you want working on your teeth – he’s highly skilled, extremely knowledgeable, warm, very down-to-earth and is always ensuring that you feel comfortable. He explains everything to you in fine detail, so that there’re no nasty surprises along the way. I’ve now been in multiple times and can honestly say that I no longer fear going to the dentist and I actually get excited to go in knowing that my oral health is better after I leave. I also love that they don’t try and up-sell you anything – they’re extremely transparent and clearly outline exactly what you need done and how much it costs. Fantastic experience: I used to go somewhere else very close to this dental clinic. That was the biggest mistake I made in my dental life. This place however is nothing like the other one. Dr Frank is sincere, really really nice and knows what he’s doing. He is not intimidating like other dentists can be. Or over friendly that he talks and asks for your opinion about something totally irrelevant - even when you’ve got your mouth widely opened and u can’t talk! Like, “oh you’re Japanese? Well I went to a Japanese restaurant the other night - the one in CBD, do u know the one?” 1. There are a hundred different Japanese restaurants in CBD - so no, I don’t know which one. 2. I cannot answer your dumb question even if I DID know the restaurant because you’re sitting there with your fingers stuck in my mouth! 3. Is this really relevant to my tooth you’re working on? Dr Frank really talks me through the treatment. It’s always really calm and comfortable every time I go there. And he’s got overhead tv. Just watch that and it’ll be over in no time. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone. Absolutely yes.
