Fantastic experience: Excellent clinic and my dentist for some years, Damien Park, is superb and has never hurt me ... he is the epitome of dentistry. Damien is complemented by an excellent front office and Trish is helpful, knowledgeable and better still she saved me a heap of money when she found out why my Bupa card wasn't working. I commend this practice to anyone looking for dentistry work for anything from a basic clean to a complicated implant.

Fantastic experience: Snapped a front tooth crown which couldn't be replaced. City smiles did a terrific peridental job creating a front tooth bridge which looked far better than the original and the price was truly reasonable. The whole process - which was complicated and took some time - was calm, well organised and efficient. I was incredibly impressed. I would not hesitate to go back and will be recommending City Smiles to others.

Fantastic experience: Very good and professional services. My first consultation was with Dr Jason Do. Very clear explanation and what need to follow up after first check up. Then he referred to Dr Vadim Rogelberg for restoring the implanted tooth which got loosen. Dr Vadim Rogelburg is very experienced and fix it right away on my 2nd consultation.

Fantastic experience: I am a nervous patient, still looking for an experience that works for me. Dr Erica was great to talk to, taking my mind off what’s to come. She was efficient and quick with the clean and gave me some advice on flossing at the end. Potentially worth travelling for.

Fantastic experience: I had a really positive experience getting a general checkup and clean with Dr Jason Do. Each step of the process was clearly explained and Dr Jason gave me helpful advice regarding my optimising my oral care routine moving forward. He was also very gentle during the cleaning process which I appreciated as my gums can be quite sensitive. I'd happily see Dr Jason for any further dental work and recommend him to friends and family!

Fantastic experience: I scarcely post reviews but feel compelled on this occasion. By far the best dental experience I have ever had. I saw Dr Jason Do, he was super friendly and professional. The reception staff were also all very polite and friendly. I didn't have to wait as they were running on time. Pretty reasonably priced with no out of pocket expenses for a check up and clean with my Bupa health insurance.

Negative experience: Came here for a check up after a long time due to fear of dentists and had a check up that seemed ok. Treatment plan of 9 fillings was given which I believed however I went to get them carried out elsewhere as I also wanted orthodontic treatment. At another dental clinic I was re-examined as they said my X-rays were blurry and was given an entirely new treatment plan with 9 points of difference showing how terrible my first exam was. Have emailed to engage with the clinic and was told off for my dental hygiene, brushed off as a difference of opinion and now ignored. Highly advise you not to go to this clinic as their examinations are not to a good standard and customer service is poor.

Fantastic experience: Best dentist place I’ve Been in my life. All the staff receptionists were lovely including Thien who was so welcoming and made sure my experience went well and smooth which it did I got 2 wisdom tooth removed and I was out the door in what felt like under 5 minutes and no swollen or bruising in the days following. The clean and filling I had was so careful, precise and no pain and dentist constantly checked to see if I’m feeling okay! Both procedures were with different dentists and I cannot recommend this place enough I would definitely come back to this dentist place again and again they’re so so good!!

Negative experience: Advertised offer of free initial consultation turned out to be a paid consultation, because, according to the dental representative "he looked at my tooth". Promised same day treatment plan took several months to arrive, and follow up phone messages taken by clinic receptionists were left unreturned. Have unsuccessfully tried several times to unsubscribe from their emails, including sending a personal email requesting for them to stop. Certainly didn't need a yearly email reminder of my experience.

Negative experience: I paid several thousand to have uneven crowns placed on my front teeth. Doctor said - for more natural look. He refused to redo it and also refused to refund. Can't afford to go to another doctor unfortunately.

Negative experience: Practice is only keen to rip clients by charging them for unnecessary procedures without even informing them. Not keen to resolve issues or taking responsibility for expensive implants.

Fantastic experience: I chose City Smiles for implants because they were quite a bit cheaper than every other option I investigated in Melbourne. I have had multiple treatments over the past years (might be 8 or so?) and the professionalism is always exemplary. Even though I live in the outer suburbs, the time to travel to the city is well worth it.

Been advised by my friend and did it myself to many people later as I'm genuinely impressed by the quality and attention, considering their really budget pricing level. Actually at some point I was a bit nervous before implant procedures as I never had it before, and it ended with me crying - with tears of relief as it was so easy, painless and quick. I'm not a child and I don't have any specific traumas related to dentists, but somehow it hit me then and I appreciate that care the team gave to me. Fantastic experience: I have been a client of City Smiles for about 15 years. Initially I started treatment with them to get several teeth worn down by grinding crowned. They were the best priced Dentist in Melbourne CBD and their crowns were priced well below other Dentists. You do take a gamble going with a cheaper price but I expect even the dearer Dentists may use supplier Andent for crowns, porcellain veneers, and implants. My Andent crowns are tough, many over 10 years old and have not been replaced, So City Smiles use a top supplier. Their general dentistry is fantastic too - well priced and each Dentist cares about your treatment and minimises any discomfort. I have private health extras and I am in my late fifties - wear and tear on teeth over the years means repairs are needed. At City Smiles I get the highest level treatment and I can afford it!!!!

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to this practice for years. I had my implant, crowns and general dental service. We are delighted with the service; especially the front office team is very knowledgeable and helpful. My mother in law had several implant place in the clinic as well she is quite happy with the result. Our family loves it here because of the competitive pricing and great product & service. The dentists are very kind and provide sound advice and alternative treatment options to maintain good oral hygiene to prevent further damage to my teeth.

Fantastic experience: Friendly team and explained everything in detail. Not the cheapest in town but the old adage you get what you pay for comes to mind. They fitted my wife in just before Christmas to fix a broken crown.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Didn't ask for my medical history , used flouride without asking if it's ok and I'm allergic to it . Rough cleaning that hurt, didn't even floss my teeth. The whole process of cleaning only took 15 minutes which is so ridiculous. I would highly recommend going to another dental clinic such as Smile Solutions that actually cares and takes time with their clients. Never stepping foot in City Smiles again!

Fantastic experience: I had a complex and major teeth restructure/procedure carried out at City Smiles some ten years ago, the result being very satisfactory given the condition of my teeth at the time. Most recently an issue occurred with one of the implants which turned out to be a relatively minor matter and which was expeditiously rectified within 15 minutes of visiting City Smiles. Very satisfied with their professional service from my experience.

Fantastic experience: I had Dr Vadlim prepare me for 2 crown & bridges. The technology of the scanning is outstanding and it was the quickest and best temporary teeth I've had. In 2 weeks i was back for my permanent crown and bridges and it was great. I mentioned a tooth that was bothering me which another dentist was going to extract. Dr Vadlim said to leave it alone. It's had a crown on it in the past and has a minor chip (which was the piece i could feel). He said best to leave it, and saved me money from this advice. I'm due back tomorrow for a veneer i had 18y ago which has fallen off, so they replacing it with a crown. I asked if the other two veneers should be replaced as well, as they are all the she age, but he said, no, just wait as i might get longer out of them. So again, i felt like it's not about a quick buck here, and the work that gets done is really only what is needed at the time, not like other places that will grab any chance to do a crown if they can. I will only have crowns and veneers performed here from now on. It's worth the 200km round trip for the great peace of mind that I'm in great hands.

Dr Key took me in immediately, put a new pin in and created a new tooth around it. All was done in less than ah hour. I'm very satisfied with Dr Key's work and can recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr Vadim Rogelberg for restoring my smile! During COVID 19 lockdown, one of my front teeth fell out. I was so embarrassed. I saw quite a few dentists over that time but none impressed me as much as this practice. I ended up getting two crowns and a bridge and the price was two thousand dollars cheaper than any other place. I am a very happy customer.

Staff are warm and friendly and able to answer all of my questions with hesitation. There are many long term staff members working at city smiles. Negative experience: The service is worth less than ZERO stars. Whenever I ask any of them a question on the phone or in person, they'd say: Oh, please wait; and they ask the same question from someone else. No proper training for them. Last time I was there they charged my kids via my private insurance (which only covers 60% of the whole cost). Kids in that age are eligible for the $1000 annual government fund - the cost was less than $1000. Now medicare says because City Smiles used my private insurance, I can not claim it (the remaining 40%). $200 more out of my pocket just because of them being so unprofessional and incompetent. Bad Management. So regretful for going there. Not recommended at all.

Negative experience: So unprofessional service, the people at the front desk are so clumsy, disrespectful, disoriented and..... that they even can't do the primary task. You have to repeat everything for them too many times to understand. At the end of the day they miss something for sure. The doctor is good so that's why we go there. First time it took 35 minutes for them to register my family members in their system. The other time we were there I said I had an appointment at 10 and they acknowledged that. But after 45 minutes they didn't let me in because they simply forgot about it. They are terrible every single time you are there.....the owner is greedy as they earn a lot but spend cheap on staff. I won't return at all.....4 times is more than enough to give them chances. Finally, my last time being there,,,They processes my daughters payment via my private insurance without telling me if I do so I won't be able to claim the rest 40% via medicare. Now when I ask them to provide me with the 5 digit service number to claim on medicare they simply say,, oh we forgot to tell you that you can't claim what you are legally eligible!!! So shameful unprofessional. Worst front desk in Australia. You think if the doctor is good it's worth it; but let me tell you sth,,,it is NOT. waste of time, money and the frustrations you get is not worth it. I'm quite sure there are better doctors with better services somewhere else which I will find soon. GOOD LUCK CITY CRIES!!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Wesley Ng - I would give 100 stars if i could! He was extremely lovely, kind and helpful throughout my many visits. He explains things thoroughly and makes you feel at ease. I had a 3 unit bridge with him (looks amazing), a filling and a wisdom tooth consult - all of which he handled with utmost confidence and care - 'above and beyond' is an understatement. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Negative experience: PATIENTS BEWARE!!! Dr Damian Park has recently extracted my upper left 7th tooth, which ended up making a significant injury and damaged bone structures! Prior to the extraction, I was very concerned about the extraction and visited many dentists for this purpose. I had no pain and my tooth was apparently okay, but the dentists said that a minor infection can be seen in the root. So, I decided to do the extraction and then implant. City Smiles people told me that Dr Damian Park is an expert to do the extraction. There wasn’t any feedback on his work when I googled him except his profile at City Smiles website which says he is passionate about dental implants and full mouth cosmetic rehabilitation!!! I had a consultation appointment with him and he only told me that he will section my tooth to be able to extract it and nothing else. Prior to the procedure, I asked him to place bone graft after extraction, so that I can have enough bone volume for the implant (based on what other dentists suggested) and he said we will do it later! He extracted my tooth by sectioning. He struggled a lot and his hands were shaking, which scared me a lot and made me worry during the procedure. He also tried a lot to stitch the gum at the end and even stitching was not straightforward to him. After the extraction I saw gum tissue attached to my sectioned tooth and its roots!! He didn’t explain anything about what he did and my mouth was numb, so I thought everything is ok! He also didn’t arrange any review appointment for me! After going back home I found a very big slit and huge gap on the outer side of my upper jaw from the tooth site up to my chin! I was really scared and felt a huge loss of bone and gum tissue, so visited another dentist for consultation. He took CT scan and we realized that Dr Damian broke and took out the alveolar ridge bone and my buccal plate which is awful!!! So Dr Damian took out all the bones I had for this tooth and damaged the surrounding tissue in a way that the other dentist told me probably you cannot do the implant anymore! I visited one more dentist afterwards and heard the same thing! Both dentists were very concerned about my sinus exposure due to the huge loss of bones and gums! They told me that it needs at least two months for healing and if I still had sinus problem I need to visit an oral surgeon to help me... They both were very shocked when they heard that Dr Damian Park didn’t even book me a follow up appointment to see the healing progress of this huge damage and clinical sinus evaluation! We went back to the City Smiles and talked to Dr Damian and he asked “Is the buccal plate out???” So, he even didn’t realize what he did to me! After a week, the clinic manager of City Smiles (Ms Milla Dukhno) called and told me that the procedure was appropriate and she cannot help me anymore! I said I can come and show her the injury and she said she doesn't like to see!!! My husband went to the clinic again to show my CT scans to the manager and she did not even take a look at the scans and told him that your wife signed the consent form before the extraction... Definitely avoid this clinic if you don't want to be a victim of dental negligence!!!! Response to the owner: It seems that you are still not aware of the dental negligence happened in your clinic. I lost bone in your dentist's tooth extraction procedure and my lawyer will explain this to you in the court.

Positive experience: I have had wonderful restorative work made by this lab according to my prescription. Always happy to discuss a case. Helps when you work in the same building but in this day and age with internet you can communicate quite easily. They are always helpful and approachable. Communication is the key. Just keep the good technicians and lab assistants guys!

Negative experience: Absolutely terrible service, don't provide any support, don't follow up, can't comment about the dentist himself as the service has been so terrible that after my initial consultation 6 weeks ago, the staff haven't done anything with trying to get me booked in. Disgusting customer service. #2 Several weeks later and still not response, Milla the practice manger is a disgrace and does not care about the patients.

Negative experience: The most painful cleaning I’ve ever had. I’ve had north of 50 cleanings throughout time and countless additional dental visits. Never in my life have I been in pain from a visit to the dentist like I was today. The dentist I saw jabbed at my healthy gums with his instruments so hard that I left with nearly my whole mouth bleeding and in so much pain that I’m still uncomfortable 6 hours later. I was flinching so often and he never stopped to think that what he was doing was wrong or painful at all. Not only that, it was so rushed. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. No chance that was a thorough check up or cleaning. He just poked the gums between my teeth to death and called it good, then slapped on some polish. Probably because it was a 5pm appointment and he wanted to finish up and knock off early. The assistant wasn’t vacuuming the water out of my mouth properly so I was regularly asked to swallow the liquid and I was told to rinse my mouth out with some mysterious liquid in a cup that was sitting out when I arrived and I think might’ve been used by the patient before me. Gross. Can’t recommend to anyone after my experience.

Fantastic experience: This is my first ever review but looking at their overall rating all I can think is the competition has been up to some below-the-belt tactics so I thought to have my say. My story: 5 years of agony - 5 dentists and a huge bill and still agony, until I found city smiles! Mark Farag has been my magical tooth magician ever since. His prices for root canal were the best I could find in Melbourne and he managed to fix 5 years of pain in one day. He is also super nice. Thank you thank you thank you! I have reccommended City Smiles to many friends and they have all been super happy and return clients. Finding a good dentist is like finding an honest mechanic. Rare as hens teeth.. :)

Fantastic experience: I had my crowns replaced with implants by Dr Mark Farag. I had a few hiccups here and there with the clinic, however, Mark did a FANTASTIC job, he is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. I couldn't be happier with the end result. I must say he surpassed my expectations and made it all really worth it. I also spent a lot of time researching and analyzing if it was a good idea to do this overseas. I don't think it's worth the risk, not for implants. If you plan on doing the same just speak to Dr Mark and ask him to show you his work.

Fantastic experience: After getting quotes and reading reviews I decided to get my implant and crown done at city smiles. Absolutely positive experience - all of the dentists and technicians were professional and professional. I still can’t believe that the whole treatment was totally pain free including a root extraction. Can’t recommend more highly. I don’t normally leave reviews but it is hard to find goods dentists these days and the reviews helped me choose city smiles.

Negative experience: Terrible and they took out teeth that wasn't necessary. Avoid it 100%
