Passion Family Dental North Lakes

Negative experience: I visited once some months ago. My health fund was charged exorbitantly just for my teeth to be looked at. I didn’t even get a scale and clean. Changed back to BUPA immediately, waited the 6 months and found out I had 3 severe cavities that required anaesthesia due to how bad they gotten. Maybe it would’ve been picked up by Passion Family Dental maybe not, but I know I felt like I was brushed aside and just used for my health cover money.

Fantastic experience: I can see why the reviews are so high! I went here with an emergency and was promptly seen. The admin staff, dentist and dental assistant were so lovely. They explained everything and were so quick and efficient whilst never feeling rushed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Took both my young children to see Dr Sam. He was fantastic. Really great with young kids (and the dental assistant was fantastic, I unfortunately forgot the name). The kids were nervous at first but they both left the dentist happy and excited. Upon leaving the dentist both kids said they like the dentist and can't wait to go back. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I visited the surgery as a new patient and was provided with excellent service. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and put me at ease. Dr Sam looked after me for both of my visits, and I have to say he was gentle and reassuring, and explained all of the work I required and showed me on my X-rays what needed attending to. I am a very nervous patient however, both him and his dental assistant constantly checked with me I was fine and comfortable, which I was. I cannot express my thanks enough and recommend anyone looking for a competent caring practice to go here. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of going to the dentist, to the point I will actively jump from the chair and run away. Had to have a tooth extracted today and Dr Soni was absolutely amazing. He made me feel totally at ease and incredibly comfortable throughout the whole experience. I still don’t love going to the dentist but when I do have to go in future, I’ll definitely be coming here!

Fantastic experience: I went in crying and came out smiling! Everyone is so lovely and caring, I am a 30 year old with a fear of the dentist that had such bad pain I couldn't eat or sleep, my usual dentist was away but recommend Passion Family Dental. They got me in straight away and within half an hour I was all sorted and already feeling much better

Fantastic experience: Absolutely grate experience As a 38 year old man that hadn’t been to the denist in over ten years, I was made to feel very comfortable even with a fear of needles. Then taking my 8 year old daughter we in the same day ( afternoon of my procedure) the same dentist made her ( and myself )feel extremely comfortable again explaining everything in detail. No scare tactics to make you book in unnecessary appointments, but they do tell you what you need. Very happy and my family will use it again. Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Passion Family Dental. After moving to Australia from overseas, there had been some time between dentist visits. Dr Soni has been fantastic; I’ve had a wisdom tooth removal as well as filings. My brief every time is that I do not want to feel a thing and Dr Soni delivers! He is great at talking through what he is doing and explaining why the identified dental works needs to be carried out. My children have also been to see Dr Sam, he has a very calm and caring nature and the TV on the ceiling certainly helps make the dentist a fun visit.

Fantastic experience: I just pulled into my driveway after getting 5 fillings and felt it was that important to share the incredible experience I have had not only today but for my initial consult and cleaning appointment. I’m 27 years old and have been to multiple different dentists not only here in Australia but Canada as well and Dr Yong is by far the most caring, kind and gentle dentist I have ever seen. It really is reassuring having someone talk you through the process and check in multiple times. The reviews are all real lol, couldn’t recommend him enough (I’ve literally recommended him to everyone I know).

Fantastic experience: I’d issues with my Crown which was I’d got done overseas. Dr. Keshav Das did a fantastic job with that. I can’t thank him enough for it. He made sure the treatment we’d done was working fine with the follow up appointments as well. Overall, I’d highly recommend anyone to visit for any sort of dental works.

Fantastic experience: Dr Das is a great guy, with interesting stories to tell. He takes a genuine interest, and his experience shines through. I've never liked the dentist but enjoy going back here. Pricing is also pretty fair.

Fantastic experience: Dr Soni is a compassionate and efficent in his practice. I came in with half a front tooth missing after accidently biting into a bamboo stick and required internal bleaching and a rebuild. His laser focus is only broken when noticing signs of patient discomfort and is quick with remedy. It is apparent that he is dedicated and passionate about honing his craft. His assistent, Solace is quick with suction and will even wipe your glasses so it doesn't distract from the TV. She's still learning more complex procedures but they work effectively as a team. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had my porcelain veneers done by Dr Soni and i can’t thank him enough for the amazing job his done . He listens to what my expectations were and the results i wanted. He is very thorough and has the gentlest hand that I sometimes find myself falling asleep on the chair. My teeth is beautifully done, i CANNOT STOP SMILING. All the dental assistant i’ve met are very friendly, they make you feel at ease. The clinic is very accomodating with time and schedule also. Passion Family Dental hands down.

Negative experience: Very odd experience. Dr Das' communication lacks and the relationship towards his staff needs to improve. Lacked tidying up the job. Please show the work completed to the client via a mirror. The front reception was warm and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Due to having a true phobia of going to the dentist I hadn't been for many years. After having some pain I knew I couldn't put it off any longer and made an appointment to see Dr Yong. I'm so glad I did as he instantly put me at ease and didn't berate me for neglecting my teeth for so long as I thought would happen when I finally went. After a few regular visits I'm still nervous but I have nowhere near the fear I had. He explains eveything clearly and is very gentle. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had spent my whole life (53 years) avoiding the dentist until I met Dr Sam. His caring and sensitive manner made me immediately feel at ease. The team is professional and do they job with passion to give their patients the best treatment possible. I had root canal with crown best decision ever, the treatment was pain less Dr Soni was making sure every steps that I wasn't in pain. Every time he gave me anaesthetic the nurse and Dr Soni would make sure I was ok. I would highly recommend Dr Soni if you want pain free treatment and smile again. Dr Wendy Pai and her team were so kind, gentle and patient. My 3 year old daughter had to sit in with us whilst I got fillings and they couldn’t have been more accomodating. My daughter also had her first check up here and Dr Wendy Pai made the experience very fun and exciting! She cannot wait to go again and talks about it all the time. Fantastic experience: I moved from interstate so was a little nervous finding a new dentist. If your looking for a great dentist then Dr Soni is the one. He and his dental technician are friendly, caring and work great together as a team. Dr Soni and the team are very professional, have a sense of humour and would be the best dental clinic i have ever attended. It turned out I cracked my back tooth, he offered a few options, I went with the crown. Couldn’t be happier. I forget its a crown as feels exactly the same as my tooth. Its been a week and no pain what so ever. He did a fantastic job. Also best at selecting the right needle for anesthetic injections as i didn’t even feel it. I highly recommend Dr Soni. He is in the right profession, proud at what he does and a perfectionist when it comes to crowns. All the staff at the clinic are friendly, the rooms are immaculate, fees are very reasonable, no shock pricing. Its a joy to see when kids come in, no tears and are happy to walk in the consultation rooms. Honestly brilliant dentist and highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Dr Sam is excellent with kids, even the hesitant ones. He works hard to make going to the dentist a positive experience by getting the kids involved, talking to them, and also has some tricks up his sleeve so that going to the dentist is something a bit fun. For the adults, there aren't necessarily balloons and Octonauts, but Dr Sam does a good job on the dental work too.

I had to do redo my bridge, filling, general cleaning and Dr Soni did a great job, I felt that I was in good hands. They explained very well what was going on. Melody the front receptionist is so beautiful kind and caring when I was pregnant and unwell she made me feel comfortable and reschedule me with no fuss at all! It was my 3 year old's first visit to the dentist where he received a certificate and few small gifts to take home. They had the TV on with cartoons, and made my boy feel so at ease. Fantastic experience: Passion Family Dental have been a great find for our family. My 5 year old initially saw Dr Sam for his routine clean and Dr Sam was so great at making him feel comfortable and not fearful. Dr Sam explained the whole process and made it a fun experience where me son was able to move the chair up and down and pushed some of the buttons to see how they worked. He had a huge grin on his face and was happy to sit still for his whole clean. My son was able to pick out his favourite TV show from Netflix to watch while he was having his clean. A big tick for a 5 year old. Another big tick was the balloon animal that Dr Sam made after the appointment as well as the gift bag with a new toothbrush and a certificate. During this appointment we found a couple of holes that needed filling so we were rebooked an appointment with Dr Soni. Like Dr Sam, Dr Soni was so great with my son. Again, he explained the whole process so my son understood what was happening around him but in fun terms that he could comprehend. We managed to avoid needing the laughing gas which was thanks to Dr Soni making the experience very easy and calm. The whole team at Passion Family Dental have been so welcoming to our family and I couldn't recommend them more highly if you are looking for a fantastic dentist in North Lakes.

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a great dentist Passion Family Dental are the ones. I took my 8 year old and 10 year old here and they are amazing with kids and put them at ease. Also I had extreme pain and they sorted that out right away, they are super friendly and amazing at communicating what is needed. They realize that sometimes money can be an issue and work with you to prioritize what is needed and what can maybe be done later when you can afford it. We took our very nervous 3 year old in and were instantly put at ease. The bright colours and colouring station with the kids artwork displayed on the walls just made us feel like this was the place for us. Our daughter with treated with such care and patience that there wasn't time for her to be frightened. She watched cartoons on the ceiling and helped a very cool dragon brush his teeth. Our family will never go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Wow!! I took my 9 year old daughter. She has been to the Dentist a few times before and it has always been a highly stressful situation for both my Daughter her Mother and me. What a difference to our experiences at other dental clinics. My daughter was nervous at first but the whole staff had a way to explain to her what they were doing, what instruments they were going to use and got her involved in the process and all her nerves quickly faded. Everything went so smoothly ! Afterwards on the way home in the car my daughter asked "Daddy can we make this our regular dentist?" .
