Dr Yaganathan is an excellent endodentist who works in a relaxed, friendly, respectful manner to deliver outstanding results. She has saved a number of my teeth that had tricky, calcified root canals. Thank you!

On initial contact after a week of tooth pain, Erica very kindly and efficiently made room for my consultation with Dr Yoganathan. Once in the clinic my experience when greeted by Erica and Dani at the desk was warm, friendly and welcoming, then Behishta took my 3D scan, all put me immediately at ease. I had zero discomfort throughout my whole endodontic procedure with Dr Yoganathan and assistant Allaine. I appreciated their emphasis on patient comfort and keeping me informed throughout my treatment. I highly recommend this exceptional practice and helpful staff to anyone requiring endodontic treatment!

Fantastic experience: Dr Varayini Yoganathan is a great endodontist who even did our sons dental complex dental procedure with my wife and I watching on(talk about pressure lol). She answered all our questions in relatable language and provided follow up documentation and post follow up care review. She carried out all dental work under local anaesthetic yet made our son feel at ease and comfortable (also gave us other anaesthetic options incase our son was too nervous under local numbing.) Her assistant was also professional and amazing. The facilities/office are clean and modern and the admin team are also professional, efficient, helpful. I'd definitely recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: I was all set to have my root canal done by Dr Yoganathan when a few clients scared me with stories before the operation. However, it went so well, I almost fell asleep during it & the next day was like I never had anything done. In all Honesty, I have never recommended someone as much as her & the Team, They've all Good at what they do, and to add, very nice .

Fantastic experience: I had to have root canal therapy in September last year and was dreading it but thanks to Dr Yoganathan the process was so comfortable and relaxing I needn’t have stressed. She is a true professional and so gentle I could barely believe I was undergoing a root canal. She explained each step as we went along which I found very helpful and calming. Her skill is second to none and I have had no problems since. A follow up scan some months later confirmed that the process was 100% successful. I cannot recommend Dr Yoganathan highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I visited the clinic after experiencing two weeks of intense dental pain. Following a thorough consultation and X-rays, Dr. Varayini Yoganathan recommended a root canal as the best course of action to save my tooth. As I had never undergone this procedure before, I was anxious. Just two days later, I had the root canal done—and to my surprise, it was completely pain-free. Dr. Yoganathan mentioned that I might feel a slight sting from the numbing injection, but I didn’t feel a thing. I remained fully conscious throughout the procedure but barely noticed anything being done, thanks to a mouth prop that kept my mouth comfortably open without effort. The entire treatment was completed in under two hours, and Dr. Yoganathan’s touch was incredibly gentle. I would also like to extend a special thanks to her assistant and the reception staff, who were all warm, welcoming, and professional. The overall experience was exceptional.

Fantastic experience: Even though I live quite a distance away, I was referred to Dr. Yoganathan by my regular dentist who believed Dr. Yoganathan was the best endodontist in Sydney to handle my root canal treatment given her significant level of experience, ability to solve complex cases & super warm nature. From the moment I walked into her modern practice I was blown away by the warmth of reception and supporting staff which immediately put me at ease even though they were busy at this time dealing with multiple patients. The entire team was professional, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the visit. Dr. Yoganathan carefully examined my situation and took the time to explain everything to me. What stood out most was that instead of going ahead and 'making the sale' with a root canal procedure as I expected, she diagnosed that the issue was actually something entirely different. She then contacted my dentist while I was there and then they both agreed that the best course of action was for me to see a Periodontist at this multidisciplinary specialist dental practice (i.e. it was a gum issue not a root canal issue). The beauty of this was that the Periodontist made themselves available the same day to see me - unbelievable service! So in summary - why am I leaving such a glowing review? Dr Yoganathan could have easily proceeded with the root canal treatment, but instead she focused on providing the right diagnosis. If you’re looking for a top-notch Endodontist in Sydney, I highly recommend Dr. Yoganathan!

Fantastic experience: Dr Yoganathan is absolutely the best ever. I had as much information as I wanted about what was going to happen and almost no pain or discomfort. I can’t think how it could have been done better.

Fantastic experience: We saw Dr Y for a second opinion regarding a possible root canal on my 11yo daughter's front tooth. My daughter was very anxious about the procedure and I was wanting to ensure it was actually necessary. Dr Y put myself and my daughter at ease, explaining the whole process and including why my daughter needed the procedure. Dr Y explained in detail the procedure and I didn't feel I was being rushed or that my daughter was having the procedure for any other reason other than she needed it. The procedure itself went smoothly with Dr Y keeping me and my daughter updated the whole time explaining what was happening and at what stage they were up to. My daughter, although a nervous, could feel she was in good hands. Post procedure was great. Very little discomfort with regular check ups and calls.

Fantastic experience: I've had on going issues with my a root canal I had done years ago at a different surgery. Unfortunately, I've had very unpleasant experience trying to sort this issue out. I was recently recommended to Dr Yoganathan through a friend of mine. I honestly can't thank her enough. Her work is incredible, she made a traumatic experience a very easy and pleasant one. Most importantly, they were very honest and upfront about the costs associated with this treatment. I've had a very different experience regarding this issue at my previous surgery where hidden costs and extras were never discussed.

Fantastic experience: Dr Yoganathan was amazing. After really poor dental work from another dentist. she cleaned it all up, pain free. Could not recommend her enough. Also ladies at reception and nurses are so lovely and helpful. Cannot fault at all. very happy patient :)

Negative experience: Not happy with the treatment provided. I had a rootcanal done before Covid and Dr yogini did mention if it relapses she will have to perform a surgery all for free. After few years I had an abscess and discomfort, I reached out to her for review , consultation fee (paid 250$)and fee for surgery (2000$) she mentioned at the start would have been for free was quoted. Felt like rip off. She did not live by her words. I had to eventually get the tooth extracted .

Dental Surgeon Specialist Endodontist Dr Varayini Yoganathan and her team of staff members were wonderful. After some good luck with cancellations my tooth treatment was completed in record time great service and professionalism from all concern. My only concern I had was the cost of the procedure, but I am in no doubt now the tooth was worth saving thanks to the conversations I had with Dr Varayini Yoganathan and her reception staff members all were great in my final decision to get the root canal treatment done. Fantastic experience: Dear Dr Yoganathan, Thank you for the diligence, expertise and most importantly your kindness and caring. You made a root canal a very simple experience and was bearable. You took the time to explain the process and made sure that I was comfortable. The entire root canal took a little over an hour - and that's it.. A few hours of rest and time for the anesthetic to wear off, and there's hardly any discomfort at all. I am truly amazed. You have also chosen your staff so very well. Negative experience: I had a root canal less than a year and ten months ago, I spent close to $2,000 and my problem was not resolved and now I have to extract the tooth and spend more than $2,500 dollars on another professional.

Fantastic experience: I was looking for Endodontic specialist in the Hills and so glad that I have came across Dr Varayini and her team. Dr Varayini is very professional. From the initial consultation to the actual procedure, she explained the fine details to me patiently, addressing all the questions I had. My root-canal treated tooth (6 years ago) unfortunately had chronic re-infection, Dr Varayini recommended a root-canal re-treatment procedure over just a single clinic visit. Once the analgesia kicked in, Dr Varayini took just 40 minutes to complete the procedure which is amazing. The procedure was painless and I am making good recovery. The equipment and facility there is of top-notch quality. The clinic is clean and modern looking. Dr Varayini and her entire team is very friendly. The procedure cost $2500, but worth every cent for the professionalism that one will receive.

Fantastic experience: This was the second time I had gotten root canal treatment. The first one was done by my family dentist around 5 years back, and was over two sessions. I recall it being painful both during and after the procedure. The experience I had with Dr Yoganathan and the lovely staff at Australian Dental Specialists was great from start to finish. The actual procedure was so much faster than I thought it would be, and any sensation I was about to feel was explained precisely by the doctor as the step was explained .. ie just the right amount of detail:) When it was wrapped up I could scarcely believe it was complete. If you are wondering whether you should stick to your dentist or use a specialist endodontist, highly recommend the latter due to the specialised equipment and daily practice!! You won’t regret it.

I was recommended to visit Australian Dental Specialists by a freind for an emergency root canal. The staff were very friendly and helpful to deal with. Shout out to the receptionist Rena who helped me with any questions i had. The work by Dr Yoganathan was pleasant and pain free. The procedure felt as simple as a standard filling. I will definitely be coming back if need be. #brushyourteeth

Fantastic experience: I could not speak more highly of this place! If I could give more than 5 stars I really would. My partner was referred by his dentist to get his root canal done by an endodontist specialist. He has had a few traumatic experiences with surgeries and other medical procedures, so naturally he was anxious about this one. From the moment he called to book the appointment, we could not fault their service! The receptionist was friendly, considerate and very knowledgeable. She walked him through everything involved and what to expect. This made him feel a lot better about getting the procedure done. When we went to the appointment, the team were extremely hospitable. The lounge area is welcoming, comfortable and well presented. My partner saw Dr Yoganathan and she is the kindest soul. She was very calm, patient, compassionate and very detailed about what she was doing. She literally told my partner everything she was doing which reduced his anxiety greatly! From start to finish, the whole experience was delightful. How many medical experiences can you really say that about? Recently, my brother-in-law also had to get his root canal done and was originally going to go to his regular dentist. My partner and I insisted that he see Dr Yoganathan! He was in excruciating pain and we told him that this place specialises in root canals, so they know exactly what they're doing and will make the experience seem effortless! He got the procedure done and also couldn't speak more highly of the whole experience. This just goes to show how consistent they are - there's a reason 95 other people gave 5 stars as well! This team is probably the most honest and genuine medical team I have come across so far and I have seen quite a few medical specialists! You're not just another 'number' or 'patient' entering their doors. They really take the time to make sure you're comfortable and content and they actually treat you like a human being (unlike so many other medical services)! You can tell when people are dedicated to their job and go that extra mile to make sure their patients receive the best of the best. This is that place! My partner, brother-in-law and I seriously recommend these guys. You may have to pay that bit extra than your local dentist, but I stress how worth it, it really is! Fantastic experience: After 6 years and 3 root canals, follow-ups, etc. with Dr. Varayini Yoganathan, I am still impressed as a patient with her expertise, her kindness, and her work ethics. I’ve got always accurate diagnoses and I’ve always felt that she does care about my dental health. Dr. Varayini Yoganathan works with incredible finesse and professionalism, making each procedure a surprisingly easy and relaxing experience. I know my dental health is in good hands. Excellent.

Fantastic experience: Dr Varayini Yoganathan did a root canal on my 15 year old daughter today. She came across as a very genuine dental professional. The centre is extremely clean and a pleasant environment. Dr Yoganathan and her dental assistant were very caring, patient and understanding towards my daughter. Fantastic experience: I am terrified of dentists and dental procedures. I was referred to Dr Varayini Yoganathan for a root canal procedure and reluctantly went, rather than sticking my head in the sand. The receptionist who booked me in was so lovely and non-judgmental about my anxiety. At my appointment I cried from the minute I walked in the door but Dr Yoganathan, the dental nurse and the reception staff made me feel so comfortable. Nobody judged my crying or anxiety and the procedure ultimately wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I really didn’t feel a thing. It was kinda expensive, but very worth it.

Fantastic experience: The staff were amazing, I had to take my 9 month old in with me and when he started fussing the staff didn’t even blink and helped manage my baby whilst continuing my treatment. The treatment itself was done so quickly and thoroughly, everything was explained in detail and after treatment I could see photos of exactly what had been done step by step.

Fantastic experience: From the very first phone-call to walking out of the surgery after a pretty full on procedure for my 12 year old daughter our experience was absolutely first class. Rena is a total delight to deal with, super helpful and personable both on the phone and in person and Dr Varayini and her assistant were just brilliant throughout the operation-they clearly explained what the issues were, how they could be treated and then during the surgery they walked us through every little step. All three lovely ladies made both myself and my daughter feel very much at ease and I would recommend them very highly. Thank you all for making what we were anticipating to be a traumatic experience the opposite of what we were expecting. Special shout out to Rena who went above and beyond going into work early on Tuesday so that she could call me before I left home, your care and consideration were greatly appreciated!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to a different specialist but decided to go with ADS instead after reading the reviews. Everything said here regarding top professionalism, high end equipment and fantastic customer experience are all extremely accurate. Had root canal done with Dr. Yoganathan. The whole team including front desk made the experience very calm and relaxing. It was like having my hair done at the salon instead of a major dental procedure! Genuine care full stop.

Fantastic experience: The team at ADS have been so helpful. I made sure to let them know my anxieties around having a procedure I wasn’t familiar with (and had heard bad things about in the past), and I was given plenty of support & options for pain management. They were professional, kind, understanding and had excellent communication. If you need a root canal don’t put it off - see them! Communicate what you struggle with and they will provide you with plenty of support and help before, during and after your procedure. Will absolutely be going back for any procedures in future and highly recommend them! I also want to thank them for being so flexible - due to personal circumstances we had to move appointment dates around a few times which I’m sure was inconvenient to their team, but their only concern was my health & pain management which was a big weight off my shoulders. Fantastic experience: Sometimes it's all about empathy and a great customer experience. I was under strong pain and called ADS looking for an urgent appointment. That was my second attempt as the first clinic didn't provide a good experience or any sentiment regarding what I was going through. However, when I spoke with Rena, she was so nice and understanding that made me feel much more comfortable. The only appointment available was to Jan 25, but after few days, Rena was able to move my appoint to Jan 11. And guess what, after few hours I received another call from Rena saying that she manage to put me in on Jan 6. That was amazing and I'm really grateful for that. When it comes to Dr. Varayini Yoganathan, another great experience. She is amazing. She listened very carefully all my history and with edge equipments, she gave me a diagnostic where I felt very confident to move forward with the root canal treatment. She was able to do it straightway and in only 1 session. I also had follow up call to make sure everything was working as expected and that I was not having any discomforts.
