If, like me, you're pretty nervous of dentists, then you have a feeling of ease from the highly skilled and professional Dentists. I can't speak highly enough of Golden Bay Dental Clinic and I recommend anyone to pay them a visit.

Fantastic experience: Tom is easily the best dentist I’ve ever had, got 4 wisdoms in pulled out in the chair with 0 complications at the time or any time after. Had the wisdoms out in preparation for getting Invisalign’s, which has turned out a lot better than I ever could have expected. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, could not recommend this clinic enough!

Fantastic experience: I took my, very reluctant, six year old to have some cavities looked at. After a very unpleasant experience with a school dentist, my daughter was terrified to go back to a clinic. Dr Brian’s manner was brilliant. He clearly explained to her every step of the way what he was going to do. He got her to close her eyes and relax while he administered her local anaesthetic (so gentle that she didn’t even know she’d had a giant needle in her mouth) and kept her reassured for the entire 50 minute procedure. Dr Brian really turned her around from being terrified of the dentist to completely comfortable. Cannot fault any part of our experience - the reception also went above and beyond to squeeze us in before Christmas.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment over two months ago. All I want is a clean but apparently it's not possible to only just get a clean and they want me to pay for a examination as well which at the time of booking I made very clear I did not want and I only wanted the clean. I've now waited two months to have my teeth cleaned and have walked out very unhappily as I did not expect to pay over $200 for a basic clean and I can't afford that. I look after my teeth and I have no issues and I made it very clear at the time of booking that all I want is a clean and they said that would be ok.

Dr Suzanne Leong is fabulous - very thorough & gentle which helps enormously if you’re like me & hate the sound of metal on teeth. Give me fingernails scratching on a chalkboard any day! Seriously, one of the best dental surgeries I’ve been to.

Fantastic experience: I get very nervous and don’t enjoy going to the dentist, I have a bad gag reflex but, Bryan was amazing. He did a dry clean and was quick and efficient. He then showed me X-rays of my teeth and explained in detail what needed doing and prioritised treatment moving forward.

Fantastic experience: Leading up to my appointment with Dr Thomas Munro for extraction of both upper wisdom tooth I was so nervous and concerned how the procedure would go. After having my gums and cheek numbed, I did not feel the local anaesthetic being injected. The procedure went so smoothly that I did not even realise that both tooth had been extracted. Throughout the process I was informed and given opportunity to ask any questions. I was assured that I was in good hands and that I was! Thank you.
