Boon Dental - Dentist Ropes Crossing

Negative experience: I was going here previously. Got alot of work done only to find out from another trusted dentist they basically rip you off and did unnecessary procedures with cleaning/fillings for no reason at all. My old fillings were removed and the wedge thing they do on teeth to place this cover thing on so they can do the procedure actually caused most of the teeth to become lose and painful because of they wedging thing they use and sometimes it gets stuck and they have to pull it out after pushing it in there. And i got it looked at another dental and they said they literally caused the other teeth with more issues. I had that separate issue occur which was the there before. Additionally they told me to use a toothpaste that made my teeth more weak and sensitive. I stopped going here not worth it and plus if you call to reschedule the procedure or timeframe of it, the front desk doesn’t pass it in and the dentist are having an attitude with you in regards to it. You rather go the distance and get better service then a close by place.

Fantastic experience: Saerom was amazing with my daughter and she was not scared at all and very patient. So happy with her work!

Negative experience: Absolute rip off. I booked in with Dr Eun Hwang. Showed up to appointment decided to palm me off to someone new that I’ve never seen before and then when it came to paying they still charged me his rates instead of the newer less experienced person, as they claim she wasn’t even on the books yet. They like to up charge everything too. They also keep calling after multiple times of telling them you don’t want to use their services anymore

Fantastic experience: Incredibly happy so far, I had severe anxiety about going to the dentist after many horrible experiences earlier on in life, the dentist james was incredibly caring and thoughtful throughout the process, although the pricing structure is abit expensive compared to some dentists you deffinetly receive amazing care and quality work. I've had two sessions with James so far and look forward to working with him to get my oral health on track

Negative experience: I’m actually disappointed how My regular clean up ended , just as usual clean up that don’t know why dr Joanna tan made big whole between my teeth , she literally removed and digged part of my teeth , ended up now bigger whole in my teeth and pocket , that I have clean my tooth every time I eat.

I have been frequenting this practice since their beginning for about 6 years now and Dr. Eun and his staff have always been extremely professional while friendly and giving sound advice for my dental health. From the good Dr. himself and his unobtrusive, efficient and courteous dental assistant to the front desk welcoming receptionists, it is a treat to get in and out sporting a happy smile. ***** Highly Recommended! *****

Negative experience: Title: A Disappointing Experience at the Dental Clinic Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) I recently had an unfortunate experience with this dental clinic where my wife was treated. We felt that we were taken advantage of financially, as they charged us an exorbitant amount of $472 for a procedure that could have been done for almost half that price.The clinic performed an OPG X-ray that cost us $115, failing to mention that it could have been done at an imaging center for free. The lack of professionalism displayed by the clinic left us feeling disappointed and believing that their motives were driven by greed. One of our major concerns was the exceptionally high charges for the treatment received. While we understand that dental procedures can be expensive, the price we were quoted far exceeded the average cost in the area. We later found out that many other clinics in the vicinity offered the same procedure at a significantly lower cost. This left us feeling cheated and questioning the transparency of their pricing. Adding to our frustration, the clinic performed an OPG X-ray without informing us of the alternative options available. We later discovered that there were imaging centers providing the same service free of charge. A more professional approach would have been appreciated, had they informed us of this more cost-effective solution. The overall lack of professionalism and seemingly greedy nature of the clinic's operations left a sour taste in our mouths. We expected them to prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their patients rather than solely focusing on their financial gains. It is disheartening when healthcare providers fail to demonstrate the highest level of ethical conduct. In the future, we would advise others to thoroughly research and compare prices before committing to any treatments at this dental clinic. Additionally, it would be wise to explore alternative options for diagnostic procedures, keeping in mind that more cost-effective alternatives may exist elsewhere.

I’ve been going for about 6 months and he breaks everything down for you and presents your options. Very pleased and will continue going. Plus the receptionist is super nice and always makes me feel welcome :)

Negative experience: I've always had a good experience at boon dental except for this time. I was booked for a tooth extraction. 5 min before my appointment I called to inform in advance I was gonna be 10 min late and i just live down the road because I had to wait for someone to care for my 2yo son. The receptionist right away said its going to be cancelled and to call back and book another day i have care for my son. I understand that its also going to affect other peoples time but Its literally 10 min and they have all my information and X-rays already.

Positive experience: Nice clean practise, little on the expensive side. Very good dental nurse's.

Negative experience: Highly displeased with the unprofessional way that I was called in to my appointment and then on top of that the whole appointment was a waste of my time as they could have checked my tooth properly last time I was there.

I presented in obvious massive pain and they bent over backwards to comfort, relieve pain as soon as possible and squeeze me in for a consult. All options were laid out before me and when my tooth was finally extracted my first word was WOW that was fast and I didn't feel a thing.

I am petrified of dentist and got upset during my procedure but they kept reassuring me and checking in to make sure I was ok. I could honestly not recommend this dentist enough. Negative experience: Not a good experience at all. I had the x-rays from my previous dentist which was not even two days old before I saw this one and she still insist she takes another X-ray. She practically told me exactly what the previous dentist said without fixing the problem. That's consult was not needed as my son needed a root canal which was not done and suggested I see an orthodontist. I will not be referring them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend!!! The team at Boon Ropes Crossing made me feel comfortable from the get go. I was a first time patient and went in for a checkup/clean. I had Calvin Chung as my dentist and he and his assistant were awesome! He explained things well for me, making sure I understood what was going on. Honestly I had probably only been to the dentist 3 times as a kid and once as an adult as I needed too so I thought I had so many issues and it would be really expensive to fix as i'm not on private health insurance. BUT I'm really grateful that he set up a plan for me breaking it down so I don't have to get everything fixed at once so it took the financial burden off me. Very happy with my appt today and am definitely going back to them!!
