Fantastic experience: I would like to express my gratitude to Dr. Pham and his team — they are truly excellent. I experienced severe wisdom tooth pain on Sunday evening and couldn’t eat or sleep. I felt hopeless because the pain was unbearable. Fortunately, I called Compass Dental Care the next day. The receptionist was very professional and managed to fit me in, even though they were fully booked. Dr. Pham and his team addressed all my concerns and explained everything thoroughly. His professionalism is truly impressive. He was gentle and made sure the local anaesthetic was fully effective before proceeding with the extraction. The tooth was removed completely pain-free. After the tooth removal, Dr. Pham gave me his business card in case anything urgent came up. In addition, I received a follow-up call from the receptionist the next day to check on how I was doing. The whole process was professional and impressive. I highly recommend Dr. Pham and his team.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place for dental work. I had full dentures done, teeth pulled out - zero pain. The stand out thing for me is the care - from in the chair to far later. They check how everything is going - I moved 1200km from Darwin and still phone calls seeing how things are. I could not recommend them more highly.

Negative experience: Had an appointment that i booked through Air Doctor. My original time was not available so they suggested another time, booking was confirmed. I went there and it says closed until 6th. I dont know what this miscommunication is but its very frustrating

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience. I booked an emergency appointment and was able to be seen the day of. Dr Thien Pham was able to get my wisdom tooth out in the same appointment. The dental assistant was very calming, reassuring me through the whole process, I didn’t even realise it was taken out (so quick and painless)! They even called the next day to check in, and I was given the Dentist business card in case of an emergency or if I had any follow up questions. They genuinely care. I am so incredibly grateful for this experience. I have pretty bad anxiety with dentist due to a previously bad experience with surgery at another dental clinic, but this clinic was amazing. I will be making this my regular practice.

Negative experience: One of the worst dental cleaning experience I have ever sat through. I arrived 10 min before the start of my appointment. The sign in the office said “take a seat we’ll be with you shortly”. The receptionist & dental hygienist were laughing, singing and cleaning in the back. I sat until 1 min before the start of my appointment and still had not been helped. So I rang the bell. They had non of my paper work on file and it felt like they assumed I was late and was I rushed to redo the paperwork. The cleaning appointment was absolutely rushed. It was one of the most painful experiences of dental services I have ever received (and I like getting my teeth cleaned). No floss. No flouride. No patient care- cold water, cold blasts of air, and my discomfort was completely ignored. The whole appointment took a total of 20 min and they couldn’t get me out the door fast enough. I wish I had gotten up and walked out at the beginning. I will never go back and I would never suggest coming here. If requesting a refund was probable I would.

Fantastic experience: Every time I leave this practice I think "oh I must write a review!" but I have always forgotten. Finally, I am here to say that this is the BEST dental practice. They are so kind and considerate. Always squeezing me in (I fly in from remote sometimes with little notice), and are always super accomodating (like permitting my toddler to lay on me during a cleaning). They are a treat to work with. Thanks for everything!

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was most helpful, Dr Pham was also extremely knowledgeable and professional and fixed a not so easy crown re- stabilisation. I traveled from Timor Leste to have this work done after a local dentist had already glued it on 2 days before. However it didn’t last very long in place and came adrift 2 days after. I was extremely happy with the efforts of the whole team. I’ll definitely be going back if other work needs to be done in the future. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: I have terrible anxiety about dentists, stemming from poor childhood experiences years ago. Because of that, I was incredibly nervous for my appointment. However, the entire team at Compass were unbelievable! They were relaxed and sympathetic which made a world of difference. The work done was excellent as well. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Fantastic experience: I have extreme dental anxiety and this dental clinic really does go above and beyond to help. Living in Katherine it's a 3.5 hour drive for me and it's worth every second. If you have dental anxiety I highly recommend Compass Dental and their option for happy gas really does take the edge off. Fantastic experience: I first went to Compass Dental to have a consultation about dental implants. After my consultation I decided to go ahead with implants as Dr Pham and all his staff made me feel welcomed as soon as I walked in the door now over 4 yrs gone I am still going to see the team and they have addressed any problems or concerns. And all Work done in regards to my implants has been fantastic . No issue of I need to come in with any issues fantastic after care . I spoke with Charlie on the phone and she was incredibly patient and kind as I was quite anxious, and instantly made a time for me that day. Dr Pham was incredible - so kind and caring and very gentle. He had my wisdom tooth extracted quickly and explained every step. Highly recommend and they will now be my regular practice!

Fantastic experience: My 8 yr old son saw Dr Thien and his assistant Iliana for a tooth ache. My son was adamant he wouldn't have it taken out. Dr Thien was amazing, he explained everything and gave him the option to stop at anytime. Once the happy gas hit, he didn't even realise he'd ended up having 2 teeth out. I could not recommend Compass more highly. A perfect practice for kids.

Fantastic experience: I had a very painful,broken wisdom tooth.these people were awsome,they made me an appointment for the following day,I was significantly late and they still seen me.It was the best experience at a dentist ive ever had,everyone was relaxed, calming and made me feel like a patient and not just a number.they extracted my tooth painfree in like 15 minutes and its the first time I've come out of a dentist without cut lips,tounge or gums from the tools,I could notice the dentist paying attention and rearranging position before he levered my lip against my teeth,legend! they even followed up with a phone call the next day too see how I was going.this was a whole new positive dental experience for me! I then decided to get invisaline as I was so pleased with the service. I'm beyond happy with my teeth now it was quick and I never felt pressured to continue any treatment, communication from reception was clear and friendly and nurses where always welcoming to see me and was nice to feel I had a relationship with all that worked here during the 7 months I underwent my treatment. Fantastic experience: Where do I even start? Words can't express how happy I am. Compass dental and staff is so friendly and professional , not once did i felt any discomfort or pain. Ticking all boxes and going above and beyond what is expected of a dental clinic. I've been very insecure about my smile for the longest time I even had braces for 5 years but it didn't really work until I came to see Mr. Pham who got me into Invisalign which was awesome! I got 2 wisdom teeth surgically removed by him and was done no dramas in about half an hour, I was amazed how painless the procedure was whilst being fully conscious whereas many people get a general anaesthetic in theatre to get it done which I reckon is abit overkill not to mention extremely taxing on your body, Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: My first time at this clinic and I am an anxious and difficult dental patient at the best of times. David and Prisca got me through my scale & clean and were so patient and kind, stopping for breaks when I was struggling and distracting me and making me laugh. I didn't have to wait at all (actually got in ahead of time!) and the receptionist was lovely as well. Glad I made the 1000km drive from Tennant Creek and would 100% recommend David and Compass Dental to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Got my wisdom teeth removed by Dr David Zulman, I didn't feel a thing during the procedure, all staffs there were really nice and helpful which made me less nervous. Definitely the best dental clinic in Darwin.

Fantastic experience: In the process of getting dentures sorted for the wife. Dr Zulman has taken fantastically good care of her and has been upfront and honest about what needs to be done all the way through. We never thought we could do much for her without paying an exorbitant amount but these guys are not only good at what they do but also very cheap in comparison to a lot of other places.

The doctor was so skilled yet very caring and always got his job done while making sure I was not in pain. Fantastic experience: After poor quality of cleaning somewhere else, I had stains on my tooth. I look like a smoker even never smoked. I contacted Compass Dental Care and they organised an appointment for next day. Dt.Daniel did a really good job. My tooth look really clean and whiter. I definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: As a visitor to Darwin, I panicked when my filling fell out creating a sore tooth just before the weekend. The staff were wonderful fitting me in straight away to have it repaired. Dr Pham used the latest computer assisted local anaesthetic injections to numb my tooth which was virtually painless. He is a very kind and friendly dentist who put me at ease and in no time at all I was off to enjoy this fair city once again! Fantastic experience: Fantastic service, caring, understanding, genuine, would not hesitate to recommend.I had a partial denture replaced with a snap on smile, and I can't believe it, Dr Pham looked into this and called me to see if I was interested it is a good alternative to a partial and looks and works amazingly, I had pork crackling for the first time in years. The cost is also affordable, Dr Pham and his team are the best!!! Before I could have the snap on smile, I had 7 fillings and four teeth removed all preformed in the chair didn't feel anything. Fantastic experience: My daughter was quite anxious coming to the dentist to get some treatment done but after some 'rocket gas', she settled in and couldn't feel a thing. She didn't even realise she had had any needles! They've got brand new state of the art equipment and machinery including x-rays a 3D imaging tool that makes diagnosing any issues quick and easy. I was looking for a good dentist because I’ve bitten on an olive and my tooth was broken and I found the best dentist I can imagine... I needed to go there for three appointments because I needed a crown and every time it was pain free and i felt very relaxed, which I have never experienced before when i had to go to a dentist. Fantastic experience: 5 star dental practice - Dr Pham has been amazing. Having implant treatment and Dr Pham built a temporary front tooth in front of me that looks near perfect to my other teeth. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and Dr Leslie is the most thorough dentist I’ve ever been to. Fantastic experience: I was not expected to have any dental visit while I just arrived in Darwin in Jan 2018. I didn't get the right dentist at the first place, so my tooth became worse. Only when I googled the compass dental care clinic, then I met Dr. Thien. With his clear explanation, I had my tooth fixed and I can't wait to do another treatment with him. The whole process is so relax with no fear. Due to my tooth problem, it was extracted eventually. There is no other dentist like Dr. Thien gave me a very clear explanation about my tooth problem and different option to fix it. In Compass Dental Care, you should not have any doubt to have high skilled dentists like Dr. Thien. Fantastic experience: Dr Pham fitted my 2x dental implants a week ago. The planning process for the procedure was made very clear which filled me with confidence. The implants look fantastic and my recovery time was very short. All of the staff have been very friendly and accommodating. It's great to finally give my dentures the flick.
