Fantastic experience: I come here for my regular check and clean. The place is clean and the dentist are great. Service is good.

Fantastic experience: I had my dental implant at Carrington St Box Hill. Implant specialist was Dr John Kim. He was very skillful in the implant performed on me, very confident and very fast. I didn't even know when the implant was done. Also the tooth extraction done was almost painless. Well done John Kim. Finally thanks to the team of receptionists who arranged my implant schedules beautifully. Keep it up

Negative experience: Extremely Disappointed – Misleading Quote and Poor Communication I had a terrible experience at this clinic. I called ahead to confirm out-of-pocket costs, clearly stating I only had $150 left on my Medibank dental cover. The staff confidently told me I’d pay around $30–40 — which turned out to be completely misleading. No one explained the procedures or provided any cost breakdown when I arrived. I was rushed through an X-ray and filling by a dentist who barely spoke English and didn’t explain anything. My chipped tooth was clearly visible, and he even asked me to point it out — so I really don’t understand why the X-ray was necessary. In the end, I was charged nearly $240. They claimed the X-ray alone cost $100 and said I should have known it was a “routine” procedure — even though no one mentioned it beforehand. When I raised concerns, the receptionist just said “we’re not the insurance company” and offered to waive the X-ray, but I was still left with a $200 bill. No apology, no accountability, no professionalism. If you care about clear communication and honest service, avoid this place. Totally untrustworthy. ⸻ 极度失望 —— 报价误导 + 沟通混乱 这次在这家诊所的就诊经历非常糟糕，必须提醒大家注意！ 我在来之前特地打电话确认了自费金额，也明确告诉他们我Medibank的牙科额度只剩下$150。接电话的工作人员却非常自信地告诉我大概只需要自付30–40刀左右。结果完全不是这么回事。 到诊所后，没人向我说明流程或费用细节。我被匆匆带去拍了X光，然后做了补牙。牙医几乎不说英语，全程也没跟我沟通什么——问题是我那颗牙明显已经崩了一角，我完全不明白为什么还要拍X光。 最后结账时，我被收了将近$240！他们说X光要100刀，还告诉我这属于“常规操作”，病人应该知道——可是从头到尾都没人提前告诉我有这项检查！ 我当场表达了不满，前台只是说“我们又不是保险公司”，最后只同意免掉X光费用，但我还是得付$200。整个过程没有任何责任感，也完全没有专业水准。 如果你重视清晰沟通和诚信服务，强烈建议绕过这家诊所。这地方一点都不值得信任。

Negative experience: This was by far the worst dental cleaning experience I’ve ever had. Dr Eileen An was extremely rough, impatient, and showed absolutely no regard for my comfort throughout the entire procedure. Even after I repeatedly asked her to be more gentle, she continued using excessive force, making the whole process painful and stressful. She rushed through everything with zero communication. At no point did she explain what she was doing. When she encountered tartar buildup, she didn’t inform me at all, nor did she explain that the cleaning might require extra pressure because of it. Instead, she just proceeded forcefully, without warning or care — making the entire experience feel unnecessarily aggressive. At the end of the session, she applied some kind of gel without saying a word, and did it hastily, like she just wanted to get it over with. I’ve had many dental cleanings over the years, and this was by far the most careless, uncomfortable, and unprofessional one. I strongly do not recommend Dr Eileen An to anyone who expects respectful, competent, and communicative dental care.

Fantastic experience: I went to this dental clinic recently and was amazed by how great they are at providing service. Dr Katie (not sure if I remember her name correctly) but she did my tooth filling and she was so lovely and explained to me what I need and everything I need to know. I would definitely come back to this place again. The staff are very nice and the clinic is very clean and tidy. I booked the same day as well which is very cool. The staff are very professional and make you feel comfy while having your dental needs done. I did not feel a thing when Dr. Katie did my treatment. Even when she injected me with anaesthesia. Maybe I just high pain tolerance but also because she was so gentle and would ask me if I am doing alright to make sure I’m comfy and doing fine. I was so comfortable from start to finish. Loved the service so much!

Fantastic experience: My kids and I visited Dr Oscar today for the 2nd time, he is highly professional and so gentle with kids, he is also friendly, has good sense of humour and carefully exam our teeth, highly recommended! Here is another person I'd like to give 10 stars if I could, Ming the receptionist (hope I spell her name correctly), I wouldn't go into details as it took nearly a hour for me to run up and down to solve my private health provider issues, for her to service me twice both time with loads of patience, good suggestions, seeking alternative options, you know how hard to get good customer service nowadays, she is so rare, we couldn't thank you enough Ming! To clinic owner please keep her as long as you can!

Negative experience: I had an absurd experience at this dental clinic last week during my son's treatment. Every time we arrive, the receptionist always asks for the private insurance card first. However, this seems to cause errors, like what happened this time. Without even asking whether I wanted to use the loyalty bonus package or pay additional fees, she went ahead and processed the claim with extra costs included. When my son’s treatment was finished, she informed me that I had to pay extra. But since we still had loyalty package benefits left, I asked her to cancel and redo the claim. She refused, saying that once it’s processed, it can’t be undone. Instead, she told me to pay the extra cost now and contact my insurance company myself to sort it out. That was an unnecessary hassle for me, and I couldn’t understand why she couldn't just cancel it on the spot. Frustrated, I decided to leave. On my way home, I checked the receipt and saw that they had even charged me a card processing fee. I immediately called the clinic and spoke to the same receptionist, asking why I had to cover this fee when she was the one who made the mistake and left me to deal with the consequences. Then, suddenly, she changed her stance and said I could come back, and she would redo the claim. Seriously? So she lied earlier just because she didn’t want to deal with it? Now I had to drive over 20 minutes back just because she couldn’t be bothered to correct her mistake in the first place? I can tolerate human errors, but not when someone refuses to take responsibility and instead chooses to lie. The most frustrating part? This receptionist isn’t even new. She’s been working there for over 10 years—the entire time we’ve been patients. Now, I’m seriously considering changing clinics just because of this person.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I made a teeth cleaning appointment with Dr Kitty. She could speak English, Cantonese and a little Mandarin, make our communication much easier. She was patience and explained every detail during the process. I am really satisfied with the result! I do recommend this dr.
