Negative experience: I spent a significant amount of money on my braces here a few years ago. After multiple times ordering new retainers from my scans freshly from my braces being removed I had no issues. My last retainer had broken and I called to order a new one today and I’ve been informed they no longer have my scans on file and I would need to take new ones in order to get a new retainer. Had I known this I would have ordered more initially to cover myself for years coming. If you are someone wanting to keep the fresh straight teeth feeling from the money you spent on getting your teeth straightened I wouldn’t recommend going here as they will not keep your scans on file and will require new scans after your teeth may have potentially shifted slightly.

As we explained to you yesterday, we are really sorry about this situation and completely understand your frustration. We believe what has happened is that years ago the lab that makes our retainers tended to hold onto scans for a longer period. However, with the shift towards digital retainers across many practices, lab storage has become more of a challenge, which may have led to the scans being deleted sooner than expected. We would of course have mentioned this to you earlier if we had known.
As offered yesterday, if it is inconvenient for you to attend our practice to have a scan to get a new retainer made up, we are happy to help find you an orthodontist closer to where you live, who can assist with future retainers for you.
Our aim is to always look after our past patients to our best ability, but unfortunately at times things happen that our out of our control. As always, we are available to do a scan for you for a new retainer at your convenience.

Fantastic experience: Wish I could give more than 5 stars for Dr Baker and the team. Right from the get go they were nothing but professional and positive, even thought my teeth and bite was ‘severe’. Had to have more frequent appointments plus the occasional new wire or brackets, and they were nothing but understandable. Great job again team, really happy with the results and glad to be apart of this family.

Negative experience: Reflecting upon my experience here - I would not recommend to anyone. I got the 'Spark Aligners' as was recommended to me by this clinic. I wasn't completely happy with my end result after my aligners and was advised to do a short course of braces, which I did, and was still not happy with the results and was told that they couldn't do anything else and that's just how my teeth were and would never be completely 'straight'. I found the reception staff to be extremely rude and abrupt. I felt uncomfortable everytime I went there or needed to call/raise any questions or issues. I was promised before and after photos along with teeth whitening, which I never saw any of. Dr Baker would do the bare minimum and I saw him for about 10 minutes total thoughtout my whole treatments. I would never recommend anyone go here for their treatment.

Negative experience: My experience with getting braces at Knox Ortho was mostly positive with Dr Baker, although appointments felt rushed & you feel like just another number. Although I’ve heard many different more pleasant experiences from other friends and family who’ve gotten braces from other clinics. Oh well, I get it, Dr Baker is a busy man! He still got the job done. My last experience with Knox Ortho was a year later after getting my retainer replaced because it was cracked. I had also requested to see if I was eligible for the top wire behind my teeth, and I understood it’s not viable for everyone. Turns out I was, however the dental nurse who tended to me was horrible. She was full of attitude and did not me feel comfortable at all and especially in making my decision about the top wire. I felt peer pressured almost and didn’t get the wire in the end. I was a bit rattled by her to be honest and thinking back now I should’ve stuck to my decision and gotten the wire done. That experience left a sour taste in my mouth even years later.

Negative experience: This is very hard for me to write because I’ve been through so much trauma since coming here and it has taken along time to write this but I feel I need to. I felt so welcomed the first few times I went here but the end of my 12 month treatment that turned into 3 years, I was on my last appointment I felt I was spoken to very abruptly and told I now can have braces to fix “my” problem that wasn’t fixed or go to my dentist to fill the problem. I payed so much money for them to tell me to take two teeth out with has totally ruined my bite and smile. I had no follow up appointment that was in contract and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone

Fantastic experience: If I could rate Knox city orthodontist higher than a 5 I would. Bruce and the amazing team did my braces when I was a young child and when both of my girls needed braces I knew I wanted to go here. The ladies who are more like family now were so patient, helpful, caring and kind at every single appointment and Bruce is just so lovely and answer every question and query I had. Negative experience: Absolutely would not recommend getting orthodontic treatment here. Dr Baker puts on a nice front but is the rudest doctor that I’ve ever come across who does not care about his patients’ wellbeing. He pulled out only 1 of my canines resulting in my teeth looking asymmetrical. Non of the other orthos who look at my teeth understand why this was done. He also rushed through my braces treatment, taking them off after only 1 year when they were not close to straight despite my concerns, saying he couldn’t do any more to straighten them. I was never happy with my teeth after my braces were taken off and when I went back to Dr Baker to see if anything could be done, he raised his voice in a scolding tone and aggressively started blaming me, to the point where I was almost in tears. I ended up having to do another round of braces with a different orthodontist who had no difficulty straightening them to the state I wanted. Paid 8k for braces at Knox which was a complete waste of money and time.

Fantastic experience: Couldn't be happier with my experience at Knox City Orthodontics! They made getting braces in my mid 30's such a carefree and easy experience! Dr Baker and all the staff here are amazing to deal with. I was given an initial 18-24 month timeframe from the beginning which I ended up needing to bring forward to have it all done before my wedding. I thought this would be impossible but they made it work! This included lower jaw surgery at 12 months which was another obstacle that they were more than happy to work around. My only regret was never doing it when I was younger. I can finally smile and not be paranoid with cameras around. THANKS KNOX CITY ORTHODONTICS!!

I was told for years all the reasons that my teeth weren’t eligible for aligners, but as soon as I met with Dr. Bruce he was up for the challenge! Fantastic experience: I am not new to this orthodontics thing, having 2 children go through the braces process I knew what I was looking for when it came time for the baby to enter into his own orthodontics right of passage. As usual I searched around and meet with orthodontists to get the best service and price. I had some challenges with my previous kids and wanted to learn from my mistakes. From the minute I called to make a free consultation at Knox Orthodontics I was impressed with their friendly warm and professional attitude. The baby immediately felt a connection and trust with Dr Baker and insisted that we begin our treatment with him. It was not an easy case, the baby had an impacted tooth and a serious love of steak that saw us calling and making many trips to fix broken braces. The staff and Dr Baker we’re always accommodating, patient and polite to us through our first few months of trial and error of eating (even though we were very well informed by the staff as to what to avoid). I can highly recommend this practice to anyone and everyone. It took just over 2 years to get the baby’s teeth absolutely perfect and not one problem was encountered. Thankyou with all our sincerity to Knox Orthdontics for such a fantastic experience. But never fear, I’m sure the retainer will be lost soon enough and I’ll get to see all of your friendly faces again

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but great words to say about Dr Baker, Michelle, Clare and the team! We had both our children treated by Dr Baker. Initially, we were advised by two other doctors that my daughter would need to have teeth removed prior to commencing orthodontic treatment, which we weren’t happy about. We then met with Dr Baker who rest assured us that this wasn’t going to be the case with him and he ended up achieving a great result without the removal of any teeth. My son who had an overbite also had a successful outcome and we now have two kids with beautiful smiles thanks to orthodontic treatment by Dr Baker at Knox City Orthodontics. Also a special mention to Clare who was such a delight to deal with and always greeted us with a smile and was very accommodating with our requests for appointments to be made after school and somehow managed to also fit us in for the in between appointments to fix lose or broken brackets. And Dr Baker himself, the main man is very friendly, meticulous, professional and always willing to answer any questions i might have. He is very good at what he does and it shows. Fantastic experience: I cannot speak more highly about the whole team at Knox City Orthodontics. My daughter has completed treatment and we are thrilled with the outcome. Her teeth look amazing!!! Staff have always been friendly and professional, very accommodating with appointments, advice, support and any unexpected visits needed. They also offer user friendly payment plan, and most reasonably priced. A big thank you to Dr Baker, Michelle and the whole team!!!!
Your daughter’s smile is now fabulous and Dr Baker and the team loved seeing you both for your appointments. She definitely demonstrates that a teenager can successfully straighten their teeth with aligners, when they are compliant and wear them as instructed!
Negative experience: Worst dental experience ever! Wouldn’t even give one star if allowed! Don’t do Invisalign there wasting money and not getting so called “orthodontic” service. Wouldn’t recommend!

They created a great outcome and were flexible with appointments so i could see the team before and after work hours which made it a great experience.
