Fantastic experience: I had an absolutely wonderful experience at All Smiles Moonee Ponds. Dr. Gulshan and the team were fantastic! This was my first visit, as I decided to try a new dentist after being with the same one for many years. I had a feeling something wasn’t quite right with my previous care — and I was right. Dr. Gulshan has truly given me a new smile. My gums were receding, exposing my teeth and causing damage, but thanks to his expertise, that’s been addressed. I’m incredibly grateful. Negative experience: Not recommended whatsoever. I was looking for a new dentist as I moved away from my regular one. I went in for a check up and clean as I was a bit overdue, to be told by the dentist that I needed fillings, and sealant on my teeth. This came as a shock to me as I have always looked after my teeth. Decided to go back to my family dentist for a second opinion and after an X-ray was done, it was found that I had no cavities at all. I was quoted, and nearly spent $650 for nothing. I also found it strange that the receptionist told me to leave a ‘good’ review, regardless of how I found the experience. I also think it’s slightly invasive for the dentist himself to be texting patients privately (and in my case, double texted me apologising for bothering me but proceeding to ask how I found the service when I didn’t reply the first day) to ask how they found the service, I think that is something that should be done at least via email or from the receptionist. I’m glad I trusted my gut on this. Only giving one star because it wouldn’t let me post the review otherwise. ** This review has been re published as the responding comment from All Smiles wanted clarification on the $650 I supposedly spent, when I clearly mentioned I ‘nearly’ spent it. They also mentioned every operator has their own opinion, which is correct, however I was told I have 3 cavities that need fillings, when an actual X-ray proved I had no cavities whatsoever. The automated message sent I do not believe is automated as I received 2 text messages from the dentist seeking my thoughts on how the service went.

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience at All Smiles Moonee Ponds clinic. Did an extraction of wisdom tooth last week. Its was very smooth and had no pain after as well. The extraction was very skillful and perfect. Will definitely recommend it for dental procedures :)

I initially went for a check-up because my lower wisdom tooth was growing in, and unfortunately, my upper wisdom tooth had already fully grown and kept biting my lower gum, making it terribly swollen. Dr. Gulshan decided to remove the upper one to ease the pressure on the lower one. I was panicked at first, but he and his nurse took great care of me and assured me that everything would be fine. It wasn't as painful as I had expected, and the process was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend this dentist in Moonee Ponds!

Fantastic experience: I went to this dentist in moonee ponds after suffering with inflamed gums. My experience was as good as it gets given its a dentist visit. I called that morning and was able to book online within a few hours and it was a very easy process. The fees were available upfront and any changes needed were discussed before we proceeded. No surprises and well priced. The dentist was thorough and gentle and gave me lots of information on after-care.

Fantastic experience: This is a long story, but I like to call it a "dental miracle" —so please bear with me. When I was 5 years old, I broke my front teeth. From my limited understanding at the time, the teeth were considered "dead." They darkened a bit but didn’t cause much trouble, so I lived with them for over 40 years. Fast forward to the present, and those front teeth started causing me pain. I went to see Gulshan, who performed an X-ray and discovered something remarkable: the front teeth hadn’t fully developed, and the apex of the teeth had not completely formed. Gulshan proposed an unconventional approach—instead of screws or complex procedures, he suggested cleaning the teeth, providing nutrients, and giving them time to grow. My first thought was, "Could teeth that have been 'dead' for over 40 years actually grow again?" Gulshan asked me to wait for six months to see if the approach would work. When I returned after six months, I was stunned—the teeth had grown by 2 millimeters! I returned six months later (a total of 12 months from the start), and to my astonishment, the teeth had fully grown, with the apex completely formed. No further invasive work was required except for beautification—a crown to whiten the front teeth. I couldn’t believe it! I cannot praise Gulshan enough. His due diligence, professionalism, and expertise are unmatched. Every visit to his clinic is a testament to his extraordinary skill and dedication. Gulshan is now the trusted dentist for my father, sister, and the rest of my family. I’ve recommended him to friends, colleagues, and anyone who needs a truly excellent dentist. I used to dread dental visits, but after meeting Gulshan, I actually look forward to them. Simply put, I call him "Super Dentist." Thank you, Gulshan, for everything. The sky is truly the limit for a professional like you!

Negative experience: Dental clean up back on Monday, 5th of February. Only writing up review now since I’ve collected all the important points. 1. Took an X-ray as recommended by Dr. Gulshan upon expressing my jaw discomfort and concern. 2. He recommended I take the X-ray within the same day, at a place they recommended close by (Dentaview Moonee Ponds). 3. He communicated that if I did so, he’d receive results within the next day and would send an email of the results to me. 4. But nothing eventuated. I even checked emails daily within 7 days of the clean up to no avail. 5. 2 days later, Dr. Gulshan asked for feedback and then never replied. 6. Hence, $78 for a 15 minute clean up, not even fluoride applied to the teeth at the end. Felt like a budget, cutting corners experience. Underwhelming.

Fantastic experience: The team at All Smiles Family Dental (dentist Moonee Ponds) have been excellent. My elderly mother required some serious dental work which Dr. Gulshan Singh and his team completed to perfection. Dr. Singh was able to save Mums own teeth and help her to avoid having to move to dentures.
