Negative experience: Absolutely shocking, ridiculously unorganised. Had a filling done, I knew it felt wrong the minute she had finished, she had also shaved down my natural tooth leaving a gap for no apparent reason. The filling fell out not 3 weeks later, emailed head office to have it fixed, they booked and appointment for me to have it fixed. Cancelled and moved my appointment. I arrived at my new appointment (now suffering for 3 days with nerve exposure) waited an hour and a half. Overheard one of the clinicians say he had worked a 16 hour day and the poor man had missed his flight home. Any wonder the quality of work is appalling. A very profit focused business and clearly dont take care of there workers or patients. Dont waste your money.

Negative experience: Waiting 2 weeks for a refund, Dental 99 mango Hill agreed to refund. Said they processed it but still have not received it. I feel ripped off.

Negative experience: Wouldnt bother with this dental practice. They talk you out of all on 4, after you tell them this is what you have researched and want. They tell you its better to keep your teeth and get vaneers. Now after a few months the vaneers fall off, even after changing eatting habits to suit. They dont have a contact number and you have to use the bot on the app, then they take days to respond if they even do. There is also no reception. For a service that is alot of money they need to do better for the customers and fix their problems with their products, processes or dentists. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!!!

Negative experience: After visiting a dentist for almost 50 years, this is the worst company I have dealt with. No ability to contact them unless using their Bot; that doesn't work. No contact post treatment. No reception to be able to ring anyone when looking for assistance. Inability to book future treatments or follow-up when these will be scheduled. Save yourself a lot of trouble. Keep your distance.

Negative experience: They have cancelled my appointment twice and moved the booking once for a broken and painful tooth. It never ended up being done, I have reached out through the app, sms and email, it has been a month since the last appointment was meant to be scheduled and I have had no response. They did of course take my money and don't seem to have any intentions to refund or even respond to me. At this point I assume this is how they make money, take peoples money upfront and then never actually follow through with the service

Negative experience: I went to this dentist for a root canal, and it was a terrible experience, my dentist was Dr. Corvera. During the procedure, despite receiving multiple doses of anesthesia, I could still feel pain, but she continued anyway. After the procedure, I was left with severe pain and swelling, and I haven’t slept for nights because of the discomfort. When I went back to get checked, she admitted she didn’t know what to do anymore and said she would refer me to a specialist. She also offered to refund my money so I can use it for the procedure, which costs me over $3,000. They said the manager will call me this week for the refund—so I hope they do and they NEED TO. I feel this situation could have been avoided. From the beginning, she saw on the X-ray that my tooth had a big infection and should have been honest if she wasn’t confident in handling it. I could have chosen to have the tooth extracted instead of going through unnecessary pain and stress. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially if you’re dealing with a severe infection or complex dental issue.

Negative experience: The worst dentist I have ever been too. They are so quick tool take your money but than take weeks to give it back when they make a mistake. I had a procedure done the 21/10 where the dentist made an error which now will cost another 3000 to fix. The dentist said she will refund the money to put towards this procedure but three weeks later and constant phone calls still no refund. Went back to the dentist today to ask where it is and they say another 5-10 days. This time of year money is tight enough let alone being out of pocket $850. Will never recommend or use this dentist again

Fantastic experience: Wow! I am in awe with how the treatment and care has been for my new all on 4 & 6 reconstruction. From the start Tayla and their team from reception staff, nurses, dental surgeons and doctors have been truly awesome! I don’t remember everyone’s names and I don’t remember a lot during the surgery , but the biggest thing for me was the caring and supportive words from nurses and positive lead from the surgeons during my operation that really pulled me through. Oh and I do recall plenty of laughs and smiles were had throughout. When researching options for my procedures India and Thailand were top on our list as cheaper options cost wise, however the affordability that we found at Dental99 outweighed too many factors for us, which included travel up 20hrs flights away, strange countries and food, language barriers and no real care plan option if anything did go wrong now or in the future. We now have peace of mind knowing we are only an hours drive away for upcoming appointments and check ups, yay! I have had some major dental work completed by them recently and the dentists were brilliant. I am very nervous about having dental procedures completed from past traumatic experiences but these dentists where extremely understanding, patient and exceptional at making the procedures pain-free. Negative experience: I saw a Dental 99 dentist at Brisbane CBD in August 2022. Xrays were taken. I had decay starting in a tooth but the dentist failed to recognise it. I saw the same dentist again in March 2023. He again failed to see the decay. In November 2023 I saw a different Dental 99 dentist at Mango Hill who looked at my August 22 x-rays and showed me the clearly visible decay that the previous dentist failed to see. this dentist gave me a treatment plan for over $5000 worth of work including an extraction and implant for the decayed tooth. I was told someone would call me to discuss the treatment plan. No-one did but they did email me to ask if I was going to book in for the over-prescribed treatments. I responded querying their failure to detect the decay which now meant I needed an extraction and implant and also questioned how I needed no treatment as at March 2023 but by November 2023 I apparently needed over $5000 worth of treatment including multiple crowns. NO REPLY. There followed months of Dental 99 mostly refusing to communicate but they did admit the dentist missed the decay in August 2022. I saw another dentist for a second opinion. They said the treatment plan was most definitely an extreme case of over-prescribing and that the decayed tooth could probably be saved with a root canal (ie no extraction and implant). This cost me over $1500 where a filling would have been $99 if it had been diagnosed 15 months earlier. Dental 99 took one month to respond to a request from the new dentist for my dental records by which time it was too late and I had already had to pay for more xrays at the new dentist. Of course, Dental 99 has ignored my emails requesting they reimburse me for the root canal. They do not have a shred of integrity and have been completely unaccountable. they care only about dollar signs and not about taking responsibility for their professional failings. Further, despite my asking a number of times, as well as the Office of the Health Ombudsman also asking, Dental 99 has refused to answer the questions about the mis-use of my Medicare number to make claims for x-rays by a practitioner in NSW who is not professionally affiliated with Dental 99 and is not a dentist. This is fraud and I will be reporting it to Medicare. The contempt this company has shown to both me and to the OHO is breathtakingly arrogant.

From start to finish, my visit was exceptional. The reception area was welcoming and the scan the QR Code made the check-in process a breeze. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, with a pleasant atmosphere that helped ease any pre-appointment nerves (Some constructive criticism - A professional carpet clean and couch clean would make it look even better). My dentist and Dental assistant were amazing. They took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions thoroughly. During the examination, they displayed a high level of expertise and professionalism. Their gentle and careful approach made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. They explained every procedure as they went along which made me feel very relaxed. They performed a thorough clean, and their attention to detail was evident. My teeth felt noticeably cleaner and the filling was the best I have ever felt and I can’t even notice the work. Negative experience: the service is good and needed, except the choice of employees is bad. had a treatment done some time ago, the doctor, desmond yan, probably forgot to apply an antiseptic after clean up, and I had an inflamation in my gum for 4 weeks. this was really unacceptable as this is nothing any doctor could forget. he was rude towards the nurse or assistant which made me so uncomfortable being his patient. they also take photos of my teeth without even asking me which also was very weird. I believe things in this clinic needs special attention from the head office in Sydney.

Negative experience: I booked an appointment 2 months prior and they took my $99 deposit, then I get a text message 2 days before my appointment to tell me the Dr has left so will cancel my appointment. No attempt to fit me in with someone else instead text me to tell me to rebook in the city which is 40mins away. I guess I shouldn't expect much, they have no reception team after all. Just would've been nice to know a little sooner.

I was highly anxious before my appointment, on arrival I was met by Keryn who made me feel at ease, greeting me with kindness and a reassuring smile. My husband found dental 99 online and I made an appointment for a check up. Dr Desmond and Keryn were so wonderful and patient and assuring that when I went back a few weeks later to get some fillings replaced I wasn’t nervous about it at all. Keryn was available to me both times after the appointment to answer questions that I had. She is so gentle and caring that she really has redeemed my experience of going to the dentist. I didn’t think to save the address of the clinic when I made my appointment so when I needed help I went on the app & I had assistance immediately. Within less than 1 minute I was supplied with the address. Once I got there I had x rays done & they were able to advise me on what further work my teeth needed. All for $99

Fantastic experience: After years of hating dentists, I have finally found a dentist that understands people get anxious and upset. Their approach is kind and relaxing. I left feeling calm and happy that I've found a dentist I can trust. Paying upfront is a great idea, because you know exactly what is going to be done. The only issue I had was my phone doesn't have the software to use the camera on the qr code to check in (which I told them about). Will definitely be making Dental 99 Mango Hill my primary dentist from now on.
