They are very caring. All of my family members get there dental work done here and I would definitely recommend this clinic to others. Fantastic experience: Recently went to Nth Qld family dental to have my front teeth fixed, prior to my upcoming wedding. Dr Collins was amazing. I was very nervous as I haven’t had dental work in a long time. He reassured me that it wouldn’t hurt, and it didn’t. The needle I remembered is no longer. In its place is another device that does the same job, but without any pain or discomfort , just some beeping noises. Amazing. Dr Collins restored my two front teeth and two each side of them. They look absolutely sensational. Restored my confidence knowing I could smile at my wedding and not be worried about the appearance of my teeth. All the girls are wonderful at Nth Qld Family Dental, nurses, hygienists and ladies at reception. Helen is brilliant, helpful, friendly and accomodating, couldn’t recommend this practice more. Fantastic experience: I attended NQ Family Dental recently for a broken tooth. They fitted me in at short notice and at my first appointment they assessed and advised options for the tooth then provided temporary treatment until the long term treatment can be completed. Dr Stella and assistant Jasmine were highly professional, skilled but still very personable.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited North QLD Family Dental seeing Dr Stella again. I had a badly damaged back tooth and to my surprise, seeing as I am an older patient with not so great teeth, I was surprised and happy that Dr Stella disregarded age/condition and fixed my tooth the same as if I had an award winning set of teeth. I like that Townsville Family Dental has lots of modern equipment and I find due to the great dentists and modern equipment that the dental work is pain free. Dr Stella also took the time required to explain everything in detail, and showed me before and after photos of the tooth that was repaired. Dr Stella was constantlky mindful of my comfort. I also noticed the dental assistant was very efficient and did not need to ask for clarification an anything she was asked to provide and in fact preempted what would be required. Also Helen at the front desk (and the other reception staff) is always so helful and remembers all the patients. I would highly recommend Townsville Family Dental, Dr Stella and will most certainly be returning to this modern, friendly, painless dental clinic. Thanks!

Going in there with an age old fear and horrible teeth due to years of neglect, they welcomed me in and made it the easiest thing I have ever experienced in my life. Positive experience: Highly recommend Dr Stella. For someone who dislikes going to the dentist due to previous experiences elsewhere. Dr Stella is very gentle and communicates throughout the whole appointment with you. She explains everything you need to know and provides best options for your further treatment if needed. She makes the whole process of coming to the dentist less daunting for myself.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic dental practice. I move around a lot and have had several dentists over the years and this is by far the best. Declan and Alix were amazing in making me feel less anxious, keeping me well informed and making sure I knew how to look after my implants. State of the art equipment and pain free anaesthetic was great. I was given good advice, not unnecessary treatments. Always helpful on the front desk and a warm welcome when you arrive. I love my new implants and couldnt be happier!

Fantastic experience: I am an extremely nervous patient but have had nothing but great experiences here. I recently had a crown done by Dr Lombardi and from the time I walked in I felt welcomed and reassured. His nurses were great and actually had me laughing. The treatment, including anaesthetic was completely pain free, and I felt comfortable at all times. I wouldn't take my children or myself to any other practice.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending this dental practice since 2018, with my son beginning his cleans around the same time at the age of 2. I cannot fault NQFD services. Doctor Lombardi is thorough without being pushy, and he graciously extracted my son’s latest baby tooth which had been hanging by a thread for a ridiculously long time! I have always had a fabulous rapport with reception and assistants, and I absolutely love my hygienist, Melissa. We’ve had two other hygienists as well, in Melissa’s absence, and everyone is warm and welcoming. There’s a distinct sense of familiarity when I walk in the doors, professionalism and friendliness going hand in hand to making us feel quite at home. I have nerve damage from a complicated wisdom tooth surgery, so I greatly appreciate the extra care taken over the years to ensure I don’t suffer more than needed during my visits. Absolutely would recommend NQFD to anyone!

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful dental clinic. I am new to Townsville and needed an urgent appointment to remove a tooth (previously diagnosed as gotta go). The options available for nervous patients like me are excellent. Dentist Mitchell Rae was warm and informative and I felt very comfortable with him and his assistant Stella. The Xray, numbing and extraction were all done relatively quickly and any waiting periods were filled with good conversation. After treatment I had no bleeding issues, no pain and I was able to eat and drink as normal the next day. The admin staff are friendly, the waiting area is relaxing and the informative and humourous video's played provide a welcome distraction. Golden buzzer worthy treatment!

I also shopped around for an affordable dentist and this dental clinic was the most affordable I found. Dr Collins and his dental assistant Brooke were absolute highlights alongside Helen at the front reception.

Fantastic experience: Dr Declan Collins & Assistant are some of the best in the business. Book a consultation for a treatment plan, which includes, number of visits required and cost for each of those visits. I had restoration of many worn teeth due to abrasion/brushing and a single bridge and crown for a missing front top tooth - this took 3 visits.

Have hated attending dentist for years and never had a positive experience, however these guys really know how to make the dentist a positive experience. My experience started with a guided tour From the wonderful Demi who quickly put me at ease, followed by meeting my dentist Dr Lombardi who really listened to me and broke down my needs to a level that I could understand. Follow up treatments booked and unfortunately my first appointment had to be changed due to sickness. However the wonderful Dr Dylan Collins stepped in ensured I was I comfortable to proceed and showed such genuine kindness and respect it was such a positive experience and yes it was the dentist. Thank you team you are all amazing and have made my dental experience a positive thing for the first time in my life. Can not recommend this practise enough, kind compassionate, caring service

Fantastic experience: Great experience for my teen daughter. All the staff were so supportive and caring. They explained the process so calmly and clearly so she felt confident. My younger kids love going to their checkups.

She has trauma relating to the dentist that causes her bad anxiety which they were absolutely fantastic at accompanying. They called us as soon as they opened and booked us in that morning (today). Prices were less than expected so that was also a plus! Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic experience: My visit to North Queensland Family Dental exceeded expectations, with a friendly caring team; an easy to find Clinic with ample parking; and they even had a teeth cleaning station for last minute brushing!
