Fantastic experience: I am 6 weeks in of a 20 week clear aligner treatment. I am been thoroughly impressed with the service to date. Each staff member has been really lovely and friendly. I am greeted by name each time I enter. The team are all really nice, understanding and approachable. I am also exceedingly happy with my treatment to date and look forward to working with the team for the 15 weeks of the treatement!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been on a 5-year journey with Dr. Michael Tam, and I can say without hesitation that he has completely transformed my life. When I first saw him, I had veneers put on all my good teeth. That alone changed everything for me, for the first time in decades, I could smile with confidence. It felt incredible. But the bigger issue was that, because of severe bone loss in the back of my mouth, I had lost many molars and couldn’t chew properly. The thought of dentures was devastating, yet every dentist and maxillofacial surgeon I consulted told me that implants weren’t even possible with the level of bone loss I had. Over the years, I built trust with Michael. He never rushed me, took the time to really know me, and was always cautious — extremely cautious but he also believed there was a way forward. He thought he could rebuild the back of my mouth, even though the risks were high (especially with the nerve that runs along the bottom jaw). After years of careful thought and absolute trust in Michael, I finally agreed to let him try. And today, I have my new teeth, perfectly, with zero problems. Words can’t describe how overjoyed I am. To go from being told “it can’t be done” to now chewing and smiling freely again is nothing short of a miracle. In my opinion, Michael Tam is an absolute dental wizard. His skill, empathy, and dedication go far beyond anything I have ever experienced. Seriously, this guy is beyond good. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

The team is absolutely amazing, always super friendly and genuinely caring. They always take the time to chat with me and ask about my day, which honestly isn’t something you come across often in Sydney customer service. Special shoutout to Milla and Mea who I’ve dealt with the most — they’ve been incredible, but Leticia and Dr. Casey have also been fantastic. During my longer sessions, they even put Netflix on above to keep me distracted — such a cool and thoughtful touch. One of the funniest moments was after my first session when Mea and I were chatting about music, and I mentioned I liked Drake. At my next appointment, she had Drake playing when I walked in — easily the funniest and most memorable dentist experience I’ve ever had. Little things like that really make the difference. Service is genuinely 10/10. Highly recommend to anyone considering Invisalign or just looking for a great dental team!

Fantastic experience: Everything has been excellent with my implant so far. After going to a few dentist for this treatment feel like deciding to go with smile by design has been the right decision 100 percent!

Negative experience: I had several crowns fitted one of witch Broke in half whilst I was in Europe had to wait till I got back to get it fixed, turns out it was a filling the Dentist wouldn't talk to me. I went through the telephonist with several conversations having to take a photograph with my iPhone in my mouth then I was told he wants to take it out. I went to another Dentist and he fixed it for 300 bucks also had my teeth whitened and they all seem to be Disintegrating at the edge and I have a mouth full of food traps. Thank you smile by design

Fantastic experience: Dr Mutaz removed all four of my wisdom teeth and also put in a crown across two appointments. It was easy and painless. The team are lovely and made the whole experience quite pleasant, surprisingly, particularly given all the horror stories you hear about wisdom teeth removals. I had an Invisalign treatment for almost 2 years followed by whitening and bonding and every appointment I was greeted by the friendly staff and given a very high level of service. Special shout out to Dr Casey who always made be feel comfortable and was always willing to listen to what I wanted to achieve. Also special shout out to Milla for making it so easy to book and schedule appointments. The lady’s even gifted me with flowers after completing my treatment plan which was a lovely surprise and gesture. Fantastic experience: I had some treatment done here with Dr Casey and it was the best dental experience I’ve ever had without a doubt, she is so calm and controlled and really knows what she’s doing. I’ve had braces before and even had surgery to get a couple teeth pulled down but I hadn’t had a needle until the other day when she had to use it to numb my mouth. I didn’t even feel the needle and after a while I asked “have you used the needle yet?” She seemed quite happy to hear that! On a serious note I would get her to do all my dental work down the track as you can’t buy this kind of experience and she really is the best. Thanks to the whole team aswell it’s been such an enjoyable experience so thank you all. I’ll definitely be back and will always recommend smile by design to anyone that needs dental work :)

Fantastic experience: Recently I had to go back to Smile by Design as I had a issue with a back tooth. I had the fab Dr Mutaz treat me. He was so kind and gentle to the point where I didn't have any numbing treatment - I usually have to have IV sedation. Today I went back for a check up and teeth cleaning. Once again Dr Mutaz and his lovely assistant Letitia where fabulous. Thank you, " I'll be back " I'll highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Cracked a tooth in half 10pm at night. They contacted me and had me booked in 9am the next day. They removed the broken part. 2 days later removed the whole tooth 100% pain free. Also zero pain in the days after. Very professional, highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Been going here for just over a year now and had a full set of composites done. Service was fantastic but what has always stood out most is the customer service. On a few occasions I’ve needed to come in on extremely short notice or needed things done on a certain deadline, the staff have always gone out of their way to move stuff around and even work through there lunch break to help me out. On top of that you can tell that as a company there systems and processes are slick by the way the whole service goes from start to finish. If you are reading these reviews to decide to go here then you should 100% go for it. Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: Hi, my name is Daniel. I first met Tim and the team at Smile by Design at their Bondi Junction practice in March 2021. I had long put off the dental work that was required following some horrendous neglect as a child, because I knew it would cost a lot and I had always prioritised other expenses. All the while, because of my teeth, I lacked confidence, self-esteem, I struggled on the dating scene, had troubles chewing and always felt lesser than my best. If I think about the money I’ve spent over the past 20 years on clothes, dinners out, drinking, holidaying and generally living life, that is mind-blowing in comparison to what I’ve spent in the past 2 years on my teeth. The results are extraordinary! I feel like a million bucks! I started with Invisalign – which takes some time, providing me with time to save money and meet the costs. Next was a bridge for missing front lower teeth. This was the most important step. Imagine wearing a denture since early adulthood! Trying not to smile too much in case someone could tell? Then came the whitening. Wow! This made such a difference and was surprisingly cheap given the results. Finally, I had a couple of implants. My mouth was complete for the first time in over 30 years and for the first time as an adult. I was offered a payment plan and was able to spread the cost over 2 years, more if required. Fantastic experience: I have to say out of all the dentist practice I’ve been to smile by design are hands the best from the moment i stepped through the door I was greeted by friendly staff Fatima in particular.I needed my back right tooth extracted as I had cracked it a few months previous and was avoiding going to get it fixed because I had previously had a bad experience with an extraction before how and ever the situation needed to be Addressed. The friendliness and warmth of the staff was exceptional.Fatima did my xray/scan on my mouth and explained step by step plan for the extraction.The staff knew I was anxious about the procedure and relieved me by explaining the steps they would take to make it as painless as possible which ultimately it was painless like they said.Fatima contacted me daily before the procedure making sure I was okay and was available for any questions I need answering exceptional service.dr rojina did the extraction and was brilliant whole way through between Fatima,dr rojina,dr tam and Clare on the desk I’ve now set up a plan to fix a few issues I’ve had and am looking forward to the outcome thanks again guys

Fantastic experience: The team are so friendly and go above and beyond! I am quite anxious about needles, pain during checkup and cleans and getting fillings - Dr Chris did an amazing job and keeping me calm and relaxed for my fillings, and Dr. Tam did the same for my TMJ botox. Highly recommend, 10/10 customer service!

Fantastic experience: Bondi SBD was where my Invisalign and composite caps journey started. Being hesitant and extremely picky when it comes to my teeth, as I think we all are, I was pleasantly surprised by how easy Michael and the whole Smile By Design team made my teeth journey. Amidst my continuous curiosity and 20 questions they have continued to be friendly, reliable, attentive and knowledgeable throughout the whole 4 years now that I’ve been going to them, for my initial treatments and now my checkups.
