Fantastic experience: Dr. Yuen sets the standard for dental care. Without question, he is the best dentist I’ve ever had- thorough, kind, and highly skilled.

Fantastic experience: Dentist appointments can be stressful but the whole atmosphere at Primary Dental Rockingham makes it almost something to look forward to. The reception staff are beyond lovely, and Dr Sree Rahul is amazing - so considered, thoughtful and makes going to the dentist a really positive experience - the beautiful light filled rooms are a bonus too!

Fantastic experience: First time here - Dr Sree made me feel very comfortable after explaining that I had not been to the dentist in a long time and that I was anxious about dentist appointments. Dental cleaning was far less uncomfortable than I remember, she also helped me to set a treatment plan in place and book in a further appointment for fillings. I will definitely be returning ☺️

Negative experience: My previous visits to Primary Dental have been A1. Dr Olivia was my Dentist and she was amazing, I was saddened that she has now left to return overseas I believe. Last week I had bad experience having a tooth removed by Dr Binita Patel. Thankfully Dr Patel removed the tooth successfully without breaking the tooth. I’ve had 7 teeth removed in my time but this experience was the worst of them. Firstly the anaesthesia was the most painful ever. It also took 3 attempts to administer enough to numb my tongue, lips and gums. Her administration initially was very fast and felt like she hit every nerve in my cheek. I’m tough with needles in the mouth but this was very painful. I don’t feel she spent enough time anaesthetising each section (but I’m not a dentist, it’s just how I felt having the process done many times in the past). It also makes sense that my mouth wasn’t numb after the first 2 attempts. The extraction itself was also rough as opposed to previous experiences with removals. The nurse had to actually stand behind me to hold my head still. I wasn’t given a script or any antibiotics in case it became infected, which it did quite soon so I called my doctor and he arranged antibiotics for me. For the past week my face was still swollen (width of an apple) with a large hard lump in my jaw. My cheek was huge with a large lump inside it, the jaw extremely swollen, again like I’ve never experienced before. Thankfully with a lot of homeopathic arnica my cheek has reduced but the location of the tooth is still a massive lump. Behind the tooth extraction is my last remaining wisdom tooth which still feels like the roots are compromised but I’m hoping this heels, although it is changing colour and it’s difficult to brush because of the lump in the area. Im not one to leave reviews but after this ordeal I feel obliged to. It’s a shame as overall Primary Dental have been wonderful in the past, including the reception ladies so I’m disappointed this happened. It cost $493 for extraction and sadly I think will cost me more in future if I do have to have wisdom tooth removed as well. I also don’t think the lump left in my jaw (hard as a rock) is going to heal anytime soon. I’ll give it another few weeks and hope for the best. Apologies Primary dental this isn't a positive review.

Fantastic experience: I chipped one of my front composite veneers at 2am (completely my fault) and the lovely team at Primary dental Rockingham squeezed me in the same day to get it fixed. I spoke to Charmaine over the phone and she went above and beyond for me and was even nicer in person! I really want to express how much of an amazing receptionist she is! I had the pleasure of having Dr Raval and Nurse Belinda, they were so gentle and did such an amazing job! I was really nervous and they made me feel comfortable and we even had a few laughs! Now I feel so much more confident with my smile, I can’t thank them enough

Her bedside manner is absolutely outstanding — calm, compassionate, and reassuring. She took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made what could have been a stressful experience so much easier. I truly appreciate the care and kindness she showed throughout my visit. They were not only polite, but also warm, patient, and incredibly welcoming. You can immediately feel they genuinely care about your comfort and are happy to help with anything! I saw Dr Allan Yuen, and honestly, he exceeded every expectation. Dr Yuen has a genuinely therapeutic approach – calm, respectful, and very reassuring without being patronising. He took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed me, and made sure I felt understood every step of the way. His gentle demeanour and clinical expertise made the entire appointment feel less like a “procedure” and more like a collaborative step toward better dental health :)) . Highly recommend this clinic if you’re nervous about dental work, or even if you’re not – they treat everyone like a person, not just a patient.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Primary Dental for a over a year now and they've always had great dentists and their assistants are just as good! As my old dentist went back to England, they paired me with Dr Neelay and he was very gentle while doing my fillings for me and his assistant helped me through my fear of needles and held my hand during the first part of the procedure! They're very kind and emotionally intelligent, and will help through tough dental journeys! 10/10 will book again!

Negative experience: My mum saw Dr Isabel Charlotte Kerr and she tried to take out her tooth snapped it off inside her gum couldn't get it out and sent my mum home without any pain meds or antibiotics and my mum went to another dentist the following day and he said her mouth is so swollen and infected he can't do anything until its less swollen he was appalled that Dr Isabel Charlotte Kerr sent my mum home without anything and she still had to pay $160 and now because of her poor work my mum hasn't been able to go to work or eat anything I do not recommend seeing her, she has no clue what she's doing and I'm really dissapointed in her work my mum has been in excruciating pain I dont understand where her duty of care is how she can send a patient home in the state my mum was in!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first dentist appointment In 10 years. I was so nervous but I honestly had nothing to worry about. All of the staff were amazing and made me feel very comfortable. I did the check up & clean for new patients, $199 deal (It was actually covered fully by private health). This included an X-ray. I was happy they didn’t use any local anaesthetic as I’m not a fan of needles. The process was actually quite painless. Anytime I did feel some discomfort, the dentist stopped and gave me a moment to relax before continuing. They kept checking in with me to see if I was ok. This was exactly what I needed, a good clean & checkup & to feel completely comfortable back in the chair after so long.

Negative experience: Worst dentist I’ve ever been to told me I had an infected tooth that could not be pulled wich was a lie as it was removed less than an hour later by another dentist they lied because they were to busy very unprofessional and disappointing service would not recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: ABSOLUTELY ! This dental practise isn't just a in and out service type - Primary Dental genuinely care for you as a patient and as a friend - you are valued. This place gets busy and booked quickly - but if you need to see a dentist quickly for whatever reason, Leonie is a beautiful receptionist who will endeavour to get you seen as soon as possible. Dr Yuan has worked paitently with my son, giving him so much joy and trust towards dentristy and ultimately helping / curing his fears. It's the only place I take myself and children to! I highly recommend this dentistry practice ! I cant thank you all enough for your warmth ❤

From Leone @ Reception, who is always very cheerful, warm, friendly & helpful, to the lovely Dental Assistants, who greet you with a beautiful smile & care for you so well... As for my Dentist, Dr Yuen - he is the kindest, most gentle, caring Dentist, that I have EVER met & if anyone is apprehensive about a Dental visit, you need look no further, honestly!!! (& no - I do not have shares in the Business!)
