Negative experience: Worst dental experience I ever had.

Fantastic experience: The team at keys dental have been great. I had to have a wisdom tooth out last week whilst Im full on pregnant and then ended up with dry socket. (Ouchy ) The receptionists have been wonderful, comforting me in the waiting room whilst I was bawling my eyes out...and follow up care calling me asking how Im doing. And to the dentist being patient with ms whilst I sob away! Thanks so much for being so caring, it means alot!

Negative experience: Have been going here for years but in the last month my appointment has been cancelled twice at the last minute receiving a phone call 10 minutes before the scheduled time. People have busy schedules and when you arrange time off work and plan around these hard to get appointments just to be called at the last minute with a “sorry it’s cancelled, bye!” Very frustrating, and I’ll be looking for a new clinic.

Fantastic experience: I’ve just finished up my Invisalign treatment with Dr Jolene . I’m super happy with the finished result. I can’t believe how great my teeth now look and I’m not ashamed to smile now . Dr Jolene was nothing but professional, honest and flexible. She has a lovely approach and is a really great dentist . Don’t think I will go elsewhere again. Thank you so much Dr Jolene

Fantastic experience: Had my first appointment last week with Dr Ivana and she was absolutely great. Then had my second appointment with dental hygienist Romilda - she was so amazing. Told her I have anxiety from past experiences I had at the dentists and she made me feel so comfortable and would talk me through each step and would always ask me if I’m okay/needed a break. She was so gentle, professional and overall the best dental hygienist I have ever had and did such an amazing job- felt no pain and my teeth were the cleanest they’ve ever been. I will definitely come back every 6 months to see her now!

Fantastic experience: Arrived at Keys Dental for my 1st appointment and was so impressed. I was met with a polite and professional manner when i walked in at reception. My appointment was at 10am and i was helped exactly on time and taken inside for my procedure Kelly was so polite and considerate when i settled in the chair and immediately made me feel comfortable. Kelly asked some questions to assure me on the process and make sure i understand what will occur. She took the time to stop mid process to ask if i was still good and kept making sure all was good Walked out feeling great. Definitely recommend visiting and i certainly will return. Harry.

Fantastic experience: Excellent care by the best dentists who are all heart, so cared for, love the great people there

Negative experience: The dentist and hygienists are good, but the communication is totally poor and misleading. I was told that if I chose to do the deep cleaning treatment, I would pay a certain amount in total. Only to find out, on the second appointment, after the treatment was started, that I had to pay three times the amount they quoted. I have now read that many other customers have experienced exactly the same thing! The manager called me and insinuated that I did not understand, when clearly they wrote the opposite on the quote. I would not bother to attend this service unless you want to be robbed.

Fantastic experience: I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr Ivanna Yap and her assistant at Keys Dental , and I am incredibly impressed with the level of care and service I received. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly and professional staff who made me feel at ease. I appreciated the gentle and patient approach, which made what could have been a stressful experience much more pleasant. Thank you, Dr. Ivanna for providing such excellent service.

Fantastic experience: I Highly recommend this Dental Practice as I recieved a quick response to my need of an emergency dental procedure whilst traveling through WA. The Dentist who treated me was very clear in relation to the procedure and aftercare that is required. If I were a resident in the local area they would be my family and I go to Dentist! Thankyou!

Fantastic experience: Everyone is so friendly and supportive. I am having major dental surgery and feeling a bit of anxiety but they have endured many questions and visits without any hint of annoyance or irritation. It would be too difficult to pin point one person because they are a wonderful team and even tho well out of my area am making them my preferred dentist.

Fantastic experience: The dentist I had Vanessa, she took the time to explain to me what needed doing to my teeth. Fixing two broken teeth that was damaged. She did a fantastic job, the best I've ever had from a dentist and I'm 78. I wouldn't go to anyone else, now I've found her, she's a godsend. Thank you Vanessa. All the staff were friendly, made me feel at ease right from the beginning. I would highly recommend Keys dental to anyone, without any hesitation. Price was reasonable too.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Rosa is the best in the whole world. She explained everything very well to me before to start, and she was very gentle all the way through... didn't feel the injection at all!!!!

Negative experience: DODGY BUSINESS PRACTICE GOING ON HERE!!! I went in for a clean only. I left with a quote/treatment plan for multiple fillings for over $1500. I felt there was something dodgy going on as they'd quoted a filling for a tooth that is not even in my mouth. I visited my regular dentist to be advised I do not have any decay and that no fillings are required! I contacted Keys Dental Manager, Mercie and requested for another dentist to verify and rectify the quote to confirm what teeth were decayed and actually needed treatment as would not want to pay lot's of money unnecessarily. I gave them the opportunity to amend their errors. They have come back and advised the lead dentist, Dr Sam has checked the quote and advised it is correct and the teeth are decayed. Emailed Keys to request an explanation if the quote has been verified how can I be quoted for a filling for a tooth that is not even in my mouth? I am still waiting their response. I will be now be looking into lodging a formal complaint to The Office of Fair Trading.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Keys Dental. I had numerous Crowns and general dental work completed by Dr Sam. Very happy now when I smile with pearly whites. I will definitely be going back for ongoing checkups as I've found the Hygiene team very professional also. Well priced and a lovely front reception team.

Negative experience: If you like getting charged $100s more for quoted work then this is your place! Absolutely appalled by Keys Dental and how they handled my situation. We were quoted an amount for some work my daughter needed and all was good until they charged me a lot extra (even though the exact procedures were done that were quoted - nothing extra, nothing more, nothing changed nor different). When I got to the front desk an amount I was not familiar with appeared. I questioned this new higher amount …. saying that this was not what we had originally been quoted and why? They struggled massively to find any answer and couldn’t. Plus they couldn’t access my original quote because of their computer system - and I needed to pay a new higher amount. What an absolute joke that they can’t access a costumers quote from only a month ago!! No one could explain why it was a higher amount or come up with a solution for me. I got very upset and frustrated all while my 9 year old daughter sat their watching & waiting for WAY TOO LONG - not something I wanted my daughter to see witness. (In the car she actually thought it was her fault that it cost extra and was very upset for putting that on me). No consideration, compassion or apology was given to my situation and I still don’t have an answer to why our bill was more than quoted/expected. A massive business fail in my eyes in so many ways - especially when our family have been customers for years. I would be giving 0 stars if I could.

Negative experience: Very disappointed, have been going to this practice for well over 10 years for myself and my family, Dr Sam, the hygienists and admin staff have been great. Recently I had an issue with my tooth which turned in to an infection, Dr Sam was not available so another Dr examined and was offered a treatment plan or extraction I opted for the extraction and made an appointment for Monday with Dr Sam. I received a call on Monday and it was canceled. Rescheduled for Tuesday again that was cancelled. Then I was told I had to pay $1200-1300 before private health and Dr Sam is not available. That’s when I thought something was not right. I decided to get a second opinion, long story short another practice did the job on the same day and was all covered by private health. Keys dental are well aware my private health covers the highest amount. I don’t understand why they would do this to a royal customer.

Fantastic experience: Sam is very professional, gentle and transparent in his work. I rang the clinic as I had a severe toothache. The reception was extremely helpful and I was given an appointment the next morning with Sam. He did a thorough investigation and explained the possible causes and treatment options very clearly. Overall, an honest and respectful clinic.

Negative experience: I booked in for a full teeth clean, which the lady suggested doing X-rays too which was fine as I understand I hadn’t had them done in a long time. The only issue I have is that the time allocated wasn’t enough for a full teeth clean which I still had to pay for on top of the X-rays, if doing the X-rays meant I wasn’t able to have a full teeth clean and that was communicated I wouldn’t have said to do the X-rays especially because there was no price difference in half a teeth clean and a full one. Also, if there were specific consult procedures such as having to take X-rays prior it would’ve been appreciated if this was communicated either when making my appointment or once I had arrived and sat in the chair for my teeth clean and have the consult and X-rays done first and the teeth clean done another time. Now with my private health I have been deducted one full teeth clean (still paying the gap) when there was only able to be half and I was recommended to come back again to complete the bottom part. I don’t feel it’s fair to be paying full price even if it’s discounted with private health to only be doing parts not a full clean. The lady I had was nice but she was constantly back and forth to check with im assuming the dentist which also took up a lot of time, I understand she would need to have maybe X-rays checked over but I also feel there was a huge miscommunication in regards to time etc and I would have definitely preferred to have been let know prior that there wasn’t time to complete a full teeth clean as I could’ve gone elsewhere and had it done as now I need to make another booking to have the bottom of my mouth cleaned. I communicated with the manager with this issue and gave the opportunity to the manager to have this rectified but this wasn’t the case as there was no offer to finish the rest of the teeth clean or discount future teeth clean, hence I won’t be going back as completely forgiving if businesses are able to fix issues etc which tried to do before leaving this complaint but now I will be finding a new dental practice that will charge me for exactly what I am getting done.

Negative experience: Booked me at 9am. Texted me a few days before the appt. to confirm for 10am, confirmed. Called at 9am to tell me I'm late, agreed 10 would be fine. Then called back and told, no come in immediately or no appt. Now I'm sitting here with a chipped tooth and a need for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: Everyone at this practice is amazing. It’s not fun going to the dentist but the doctors and staff make you feel very comfortable. They are very friendly. I saw Dr Reza and he was amazing. He explained everything every step of the way. Thank you for making me feel relaxed with your friendly persona and patience. Highly recommend Keys Dental.

Fantastic experience: I have trigeminal neuralgia, which makes anything dental a nightmare for me. Dr Sam is by far the best dentist I’ve ever found. He’s not only an absolute expert in his field, at the very forefront of the latest tech and developments but also incredibly gentle, kind and compassionate. His prices are extremely reasonable and everyone at the practice is friendly and professional. I not only highly recommend but would honestly refuse to go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Poor service! No care for there patients! If i could give 0 stars i would! All they care about is money! I have severe nerve pain caused by a tooth infection, I am unable to pay for treatment due to financial hardship. I paid $560 out of pocket to start the process, They provided me with a quote for $4000 dollars to get my tooth fixed, I advised them I can't pay and would need to have a compassionate release of super to treat my condition. I dropped in the required forms and called twice to confirm, I was advised a week later that they can't help me with completing the forms because the claim isn't high enough and they will only complete the form if it's $10,000, They advised I would need to go to another dentist and start the whole process again, I am so disappointed that a person in serve pain needing urgent treatment and under financial stress would be messed around and treated like a number all because my treatment doesn't cost 10,000 and they can't help me! I will be telling every person in my community not to go here! I rang another dentist and explained what happened and they where more then happy to assist me!

Fantastic experience: I get terrible anxiety when I go to the dentist due to a horrific dental experience as a teenager... Up until last year I pretty much cried at every single appointment! (I'm 30 years old btw.) I am SO glad I found keys dental!! For this first time I actually don't mind going to a check up! I explained my fears to the girl on the front desk at my first appointment and since then I've been treated with kid gloves! She must have a record on file or something because I've seen Multiple drs there and they all keep me really calm before any treatment so grateful to them all!

Fantastic experience: Keys dental is second to none. The service from when you walk in is outstanding. I am scared senseless of the dentist but Dr Sam made me feel at ease. I am now at ease and will have my dental work completed. Thanks Becki and Rach and Dr Sam.

Fantastic experience: I have a phobia about dentist and haven't been to one in 10 years. I recently broke one of my back molars which caused me a lot of pain and had to get it extracted. My daughter made an appointment and I was very stressed getting there. DR SP took his time listening to my fears, explained what was going to happen and tried his best to make me feel more relaxed. It was a difficult extraction, but he stopped regularly to make sure I'm ok and not feeling any pain. I was quite upset after the procedure, not due to him but due to my anxiety. The receptionist took me to one of the offices and took her time to calm my nerves and give me time to gather myself. The absolute care and compassion I received for the whole practice will make me return every time, even when my anxiety tries and stop me. Thank you, thank you so much for your understanding and making the experience more positive

Fantastic experience: Had awesome service, very caring staff and polite too.

Negative experience: We booked in for an appointment on 22/12/2020 for our 3 year old child (his first dental experience) with Dr Reza. Unfortunately the service we received was extremely poor. From the moment he ushered us into his room he was abrupt. We had just showed our child a fun video of a friendly doctor to help him not to be scared, however, it all quickly changed with this dentist abruptly demanding to my child that he lay on his back (my wife was laying on the bed underneath him) and open his mouth, all while standing over him with his chest puffed out. Understandably, my child became scared of him and would barely turn to face him, to which Dr Reza lifted his hands into the air in frustration while standing over my child. He then told us we had to leave and rebook with another dental clinic and abruptly ushered us out of his room. There was no effort made to be friendly or to simply adapt his communication to suit a child. As a health care worker for nearly a decade working with very challenging and high pressure emergency situations and with challenging people, including children, it is really not that difficult to treat patient's in the way that they require to ensure that they feel safe and that treatment can be provided. I sincerely hope that this kind of behaviour is not accepted at your clinic. The only positive from our experience was the professional and caring response we received from the lady at the desk after we informed her of what had occurred. Unfortunately since that time, every time my 3 year old hears about a doctor, he asks if they are a bad doctor, solely due to this experience! One good lesson in this industry: It doesn't matter how sh*t hot you might think you are clinically, you amount to nothing if you don't know how to talk your patients.

Fantastic experience: Sam is a wonderful friendly Dentist with an amazing manner and highest level of experience. He removed my daughter’s wisdom teeth and she had an amazingly fast recovery. Her face wasn’t bruised at all. Sam is honest with diagnosis and gives you all the options. I highly recommend him and the lovely team at Keys Dental. It’s never nice to go to a dentist but this practice is the best so dont fear just go experience their expertise and friendliness. Wonderful practice 10/10 from our family.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending keys dental for a while now, everyone i go everyone is so lovely and amazing. As I am a uni student and working i don't feel pressured into buying a treatment or anything like that which is so amazing everyone is super understanding. The dentists are all so knowledgeable as well as the hygienists and the lovely ladies at the front desk. Love my dentist i go every 6 months for a check up and feel so fresh, clean and happy when I leave.

Negative experience: After a twelve-hour day I arrived at Keys Dental 16/61 Key Largo Dr, Clarkson WA 6030, waited 20 mins for a 7 pm appointment for a scale and polish, only to be told that because I had not seen a specialist for a deep gum clean (estimate of $1200) they could not continue with my appointment. Can I get some background on this matter and how to proceed?

Fantastic experience: I have been with this practice for more than 12 years and have always received a great service. My hygènist Jaina (soŕry for the spelling) is always friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: Sam and Sam are the dynamic duo. Dr Sam is experienced and reassuring, ensuring I was getting the correct things done after being wrongly diagnosed by another doctor. He also managed to remember every point of conversation we had spoken about during the previous visits like I was a friend. Sam at the reception desk is super friendly and loves what she does. I got the feeling she makes friends with every patient she meets, making the payment and scheduling of next visits super easy and slightly less painful! A few other mentions are Sam's assistant who again was super lovely and passionate about what she does. Even just the small things I noticed like making distracting touches on my arm during needles go a long way. The lady who did the cleaning prior to my other visits was another awesome mention. She smashed out a quick procedure after cleaning my teeth, saving me another trip to the dentist. It wasn't scheduled but she had the time and gave me the option when she didnt have to. I don't remember her name but she is the one with the beautiful tan skin and perfect eyebrows.

Negative experience: I would not recommend... I came here about 3 years ago... I came for a filling. At one point during the procedure it really hurt. He left me with an exposed nerve during the procedure. We moved back home to Adelaide not long after this, and it was repaired here in Adelaide. I can not remember the name of the dentist who done that, I only hope he is no longer a dentist

Negative experience: I had a few fillings and 2 teeth removed and honestly unless you have nice teeth to begin with and are older then 30 they look down on you and don’t treat you with care or listen to your requests. The staff were polite but blunt .

Fantastic experience: As scary as the dentist can be for someone, (like me) I really did feel so at home! I had a extraction done with Dr Sam, and I can highly highly recommend this dentist! The staff are the kindest girls I’ve ever met, the best! They made me feel so at ease, and this will now always be a regular dentist I go to!! Great work guys!!

Negative experience: The dentist provided a quote for fillings. When I started treatment, he added a filling that he did not include in the quote, and charged for it. How did the dentist miss a filling at the checkup?

Negative experience: I went to the dentist on Saturday which I booked online. The dentist cleaned my teeth and tried to get the seed out that was stuck. Unfortunately he did not get it out. I returned the following week to see if they could remove it. They still did not but charged me twice and when I questioned it they said “ this procedure was a deeper clean” I question shouldn’t this have been done the first time ? The dentists seem great but surely you shouldn’t be paying for service twice that close together when both treatments failed.

Fantastic experience: Had an exam and work done with the patient and professional Dr. Maheer Shah. I feel like this practice provides a premium service at an average price. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.

Negative experience: This practice used the hygienist to clean your teeth not the dentist which nothing wrong with this method. However, it is very inconvenient and difficult to get an appointment book for both dentist and hygienist on Sat (for people who worked full time M-F). My appointment has been cancelled for a few times in a row due to unwell hygienist on the Sat. I tried to book since Dec 2017 and got one in Jan18, then Postpost to Feb18, and then postponed again, next proposed is Mar 17th. Not sure, they will call to cancel again. I suggested the management of this practice to have proper back up plan at least 24 hours before to notify the customer. We have to cancel other appointments to make ourselves available for this practice but then got cancelled many many times with a short notice. Customer services needed improvement.

Fantastic experience: I hadn't been to the dentist in years as I was quite scared to go. I've had to go 3 times in the past 2 weeks and can honestly say the staff are amazing! The ladies behind the desk are so lovely and helpful and my dentist is great and makes me feel really comfortable. Recommend this dental centre 110% :)

Negative experience: Got charged for a service they couldn't provide. Made the appointment based on this service they couldn't do it and then charged me $60 to refer me to someone else. What a waste of money and time.
