I have been to other dentists before and my previous experiences made me anxious about dental visits but after going to Jenny I now feel at ease. I’ve finally found a dentist that doesn’t give me anxiety and doesn’t make me dred dental visits. I now look forward to seeing a dentist. She is honestly great. 10/10

Negative experience: After making an appointment a week in advance for a 9.30am appointment on Monday morning, my wife was called the day before to say that the appointment had been changed to 9.00am. This didn't suit us with school drop off, but we were left with no choice. Arriving late after doing our best to arrive at the new time, we were told it was too late and another appointment would need to be made. If we wanted to see someone that day, it would need to be with another dentist. Needless to say we cancelled that appointment and our family will not be going back. Completely understand that being late, means that you may miss the appointment, but people book times that they can attend. If you change that time as a business, then don't be rude and shocked when people struggle to keep the appointment.

Fantastic experience: Ever since I came to them for an emergency rotten wisdom tooth extraction back in 2015, they have been exemplary. I've seen about four of them, now, too. All great at their job, all careful and gentle and understanding and patient :)

Fantastic experience: It was our 1st time to see Dr Winnie Yu, she is a fantastic dentist with lots of patients on her patients, the price is reasonable with good service, strongly recommend and already booked our next appointment in 6 months, my while family and in law are all happy after our 1st cleaned up. The dentist we used to visit was good but Dr Winnie Yu is even better.

Negative experience: Three days after I received a root canal treatment from Dr Timothy Lam, part of the filling material from the treated tooth fell out. I returned to the clinic to seek clarification and repair, but the he told me that the portion which fell off was from a previous filling and therefore not his responsibility. He stated that if I wanted him to fix it, it would cost another $180. He also explained — somewhat dismissively — that simply operating their equipment costs hundreds of dollars, so doing the repair for free was not possible. However, my concern is this: regardless of whether the fallen piece was part of the previous filling or not, would it have come off at all if he hadn’t drilled such a large hole during the procedure? Isn’t it the dentist’s responsibility to fully restore the structural integrity of the tooth after a root canal? I expected that once the treatment was completed, the tooth would be properly sealed and protected — especially since the treated tooth had been stable prior to this. I feel the situation was not handled with fairness or professionalism, and I’m disappointed by the lack of accountability.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the Hurstville Fantastic Smile to have major dental work performed, as well as half-yearly check-ups for quite a number of years. I've found the doctors & staff there are all highly professional & capable, especially Dr. Shee & Dr. Wong. The former saved me from serious gingivitis onslaught; and the latter provided me with ongoing dental care after symptoms were brought under control. All staff in the dental facilities always operate efficiently, professionally, & very courteous. Well done the FSH Team!

Negative experience: I went to the clinic to get some enquiry on Orthodontics. The receptionist said they would first do a quote to see if my insurance could go cover. They tried several times, but it kept failing. My insurance clearly includes orthodontics. The receptionist tried several different item codes, but none of them worked. So I went to the Bupa branch in Hurstville to ask what was going on. Turns out, the dentist they selected for the quote isn’t qualified for orthodontics, so no matter how many times they tried, it was never going to work… I’m honestly speechless. Their attitude made it seem like the problem was with me or my insurance. But in fact, there’s nothing wrong with my insurance at all.

Negative experience: I’ve been visiting clinics for teeth cleaning for 10 years in different countries and “Fantastic Smile” was the WORST experience. Dentists will try to overcharge you by pushing to pay extra for “dental check up” and warning that if you don’t pay you won’t get good service. Even you call in advance they won’t tell you the real price. I think it’s illegal in NSW and I hope that the owner will contact me asap.

Fantastic experience: The care and service given by Fanastic Smile in Hurstville and Dynamic Smile in Ashfield are exceptional. I make a series of appointments with Dy Jenny Bai months ahead from overseas, and all appointments are dutifully followed and kept. Additional care is taken on the surgeons recommendations. The charges are very considerate and fair, and i have recommended the surgeries to a few friends already.

Fantastic experience: It provides a very efficient, friendly and affordable dental services. They are so good that I have to travel more than 50 km each way to have my dental check and cleaning every 6 months. I have been with this dental care centre for the last ten or more years and have five teeth implantations here. The implants feel very natural and work perfectly since implanted 5 years ago. As they are Medibank designated dentists all my annual dental check and cleaning are completely covered by Medibank.

Negative experience: We had good experience with them years ago so returned again. This time it is a bit disappointed. The nurses and reception were generally quite friendly but the dentist didn't behave professionally (don't want to name him though). He didn't even bother to raise his eyes to greet us when we entered the room. He's lost patience very quickly after my mum expressed some concerns. Hope it is just a rare case, but will hesitate to visit again.

Negative experience: WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS CLINIC! After all the comments and negative feedback and reviews I saw on Google, on my first appointment I asked clearly how much the cost will be, that was about 1 week from my first treatment appointment. I was told it will be $264 and I'm covered for $190.40 from Mediabank and my out of pocket expenses will be $55.6. I'm even not going to talk about the ridiculous items I found in the first receipt such as pulp testing & photo records, but I'm going to talk about the final receipt tht was for $310, after I was clear about the final cost. I ended up paying out of pocket expenses double of what I was told. There is no way I will go back to this clinic again!
