Fantastic experience: Nobody 'loves' going to the dentist. Dr Sahar and the team at Balgowlah Dental are exceptional. I had a few options to consider for my latest procedure and the positives and negatives from all of the options were clearly explained and I was given time to decide what would be best for me to proceed with. The thought of needles, and a drill going through my jaw bone for a tooth implant sounded painful, but it was the logical choice for me. The procedure was over in 45 minutes, the pain was less than previous fillings and crowns I have had in the past. The follow up the day after to check up on me was all about me saying how it was one of the best dental experiences Ive had, and there have been many. Cannot recommend the team highly enough

Fantastic experience: Sahar and her team are the best!!! I was one of these people who is afraid of going to the dentist but going to her has changed this. I am not saying I am now loving to go to the dentist but I am much more ‘relaxed’ when it’s time to go.

Negative experience: Overall it's way over priced compared to the other nearby dentists. My child had a regular check up. Not only they gave us quote that was later turned out to be much higher pricing and advised not necessary by other dentists. Also during the check up, wobbly tooth was removed- I was advised to do so without information of the extra cost involved. I was shocked by the bill at the end. I talked to a few other friends who went there initially and decided not to go back at the end with similar experiences unfortunately. And later, the marketing staff said I'm reviewing the wrong dentist to remove all lower star review.

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend Balgowlah Dental Clinic highly enough! From the moment you walk in, the staff are absolutely amazing – so friendly, welcoming, and professional. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and at ease. A special shout-out to Dr. Sahar, who is simply fantastic. She has a wonderful chair-side manner and a way of making even the most anxious patient (like me!) feel relaxed. Dr. Sahar explains everything clearly and makes going to the dentist a genuinely nice experience. Every time we arrive, it's as though we are being welcomed by friends when we enter the door, the ladies are always so friendly. Dr Michael treated my husband with Invisalign two years ago & the results are amazing. Dr Sahar & Dr Michael have both been doing our six monthly clean & checkups for a number of years & each time they are so kind & helpful - neither of us have ever felt nervous or anxious for our dentist visits. Fantastic experience: COOL, CALM & COMPETENT! Thank you Dr.Michael Shang for a smooth and pain free Root Canal treatment. The team are kind and soft spoken, helping to create a calm and nurturing environment. Dr Michael Shang is efficient yet empathetic , very detailed in his explanations. I came in very worried about a toothache and was even more troubled to find out I had to undergo a root canal procedure. I was pleasantly surprised that my procedure went smoothly and virtually pain free . Would highly recommend Dr.Shang to those who have dental anxiety and want to have a feeling of safety, and reassurance.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist clinic I’ve ever been to! Today I had the best experience with Laura and Michael. They were kind, thoughtful and very experienced! Their work was very thorough and effective plus they have amazing equipment that makes it an easy and painless experience. I think we may of had too many laughs during my visit but that was my fault. Fantastic experience: Dr.Sahar and her team are 7 star so Google review doesn't do justice! Our family of 4 are regular at BDC and have only good experiences. Sahar besides being a super nice human being, is especially good with kids and make everyone feel good right from the moment you step in the clinic! She provides explanation and alternatives for procedures and one never feels ambiguous. Her support crew is also always on point! Laura at front desk is great with appointments, always get a reminder few days before the appointment. Highly recommended!

I had to get two upper wisdom teeth removed and going in with just local I was a bit nervous, but Dr. Sahar was an absolute pro at removing them! She made me feel comfortable and took away all my nerves. My teeth were out within a couple of seconds. I have virtually no pain post! Thank you to a great team :)

Fantastic experience: Never imagined I would ever say the dentist was an enjoyable experience. First time for me, scale and deep clean. I saw Sahar and her assistant, (sorry didn’t get her name). Wow what a team, super impressed. Warm and friendly greeting as soon as you arrive. Loved having everything explained thoroughly, although no contribution on my part, it made me feel cared about. Sahar's awareness and sensitivity relaxes you immediately; scale and clean not the most warm and fuzzy experience, but give a 10/10 Impressed with all the high tech equipment, combined with the skill and expertise of Sahar.
