Fantastic experience: I have been going to this clinic for over 3 years. Both Kevin and Julie are excellent. They explain everything and give you realistic expectations. Julie is so gentle that you forget you are at the dentist. She did a veneer in my front tooth that is more of a work of art. The care that she put into making it as close as the surrounding teeth as possible was incredible and the result was even more incredible. I recommend them both 100%.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kevin Kok is an excellent dentist and a true professional. His gentle manner and genuine care for his patients make every visit much easier. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist because of bad childhood experiences, but Kevin is the only dentist I’ve actually looked forward to seeing. I did an Invisalign program with him over 9–12 months, and throughout the whole process he was patient, knowledgeable and reassuring. He always took the time to explain things clearly and put me at ease at every check-up. Fantastic experience: I was looking for the right dentist in Melbourne to coordinate a complex implant schedule while I was overseas. I was introduced to Kevin from Oryx Dental who immediatley started to understand my situation whilst I was overseas and quickly communicated a workflow of what was needed to complete once I got back. Kevin really cares for you and what's best for you in the long run, providing an all encompassing care plan not a quick fix solution. I also explained to him my needs and sensitivities around work which he understood. I required temporary crowns until my final crowns are ready and I have to say the workmanship is second to none and I've never walked out of a dentist with so much confidence. I highly recommend Kevin and his team for any degree of dental work.

Fantastic experience: I am in no way a connoisseur of dentists but I have to say, my experience at oryx dental was one of, if not the best I've ever seen at a dentist. Kevin really took the time to try to understand my needs and was very personable. I was initially a bit hesitant about going to a fancy dentist in Toorak, especially since some medical professionals I've seen in the past, whilst being very skilled, have had the social skills of a cardboard box. I had just accepted this as being the norm to be totally honest, but Kevin seems to be the exception. Kevin and his team were super gentle and went above and beyond in getting my teeth and gums back to a healthy standard. Fantastic experience: It is with absolute pleasure that I share my experience as a patient of Kevin and Jade at Oryx Dental. For transparency- my relationship with Kevin began with he as my client in 2022, when he approached me to undertake the interior design for Oryx Dental's new home. Working alongside Kevin and gaining insight into the care he has for his staff and patients prompted me to stray from my childhood dentist and visit Oryx as a patient. I have now attended for 2 general check ups and a filling replacement appointment - and I won't look back. Seeing technological advances in the field has been amazing. Kevin is a master crafter and has such high attention to detail. The aesthetic improvement from my previous filling to my new one is genuinely astounding - my old one stood out, but to the untrained eye the new filling looks just like the mirroring tooth. But on the most simple level, through their care I was able to deeply understand the impacts of my former brushing and flossing techniques, and was educated on how to improve these for better preventative care - essential for the rest of my life. Excellent communication is key for amazing service, and it's obvious that the team at Oryx Dental see the importance of deeply understanding their patient's wants and needs. I feel genuinely cared for, and as such feel much more motivated and mindful about my dental care. I have long appreciated his expertise and skill in keeping my teeth in good health. He seems to use very up to date technology and the whole visit is always an experience. My time, like Kevin's, is precious , so knowing that any procedures will occur as scheduled is an important factor. Kevin is an EXCELLENT communicator. In my case he has gone out of his way to ring me after hours at home to discuss the outcome and progress of procedures. And rather apprehensive.I had not had a routine inspection for many years. Booking into Oryx was a noteworthy decision. The caring and erudite Dr Kevin quickly discovered that I needed considerable work, this dental work was performed with reassuring diligence, sensitivity and much good humour. My old friend, when seeing me after my appointments with Oryx , was highly impressed( slightly peeved that I hadn’t come to him though!) I explained to him the procedures and he openly praised the magnificent result. I also receive care and treatment for jaw tension and facial pain, administered with great skill and diligence by Dr Madeline. A few years ago, I found myself in need of a dental implant and I was very upset and anxious at the prospect. I was also extremely concerned that I might not be able to afford the best of dental treatment. However, from the moment I first consulted Kevin, my fears about the implant process and the associated costs were allayed. Kevin and Chris were aware of my personal circumstances and were very considerate and patient; allowing me to pay for my implant over time. As a result, I didn't need to compromise on receiving the best dental treatment possible. I am so grateful, the results are amazing! Kevin is a highly skilled and exacting practitioner; an absolute perfectionist who takes real pride in his work. His skills and knowledge are never static; he is continually incorporating new techniques, innovation and technologies into his practice. Kevin also has a peerless chair-side manner; always calm, assured, empathetic and reassuring. If there are ever any dental issues that require attention, Kevin always explains things so clearly; what the problem is, what the options are, what actions he recommends and what can be expected at every point along the way. After going to Oryx they were able to rectify the problem there and then. Followed by a check up a month later to make sure I was all good. Staff are all very welcoming and really look after there patience.

Fantastic experience: I've seen Dr Kevin for 2 years now. What sealed the switch for me was how well he repaired my two front teeth that were both chipped. Given these are the centre piece of my smile, I was hesitant at first. However, the colour matching and shape are 100% perfect and you would never know they had been repaired! On top of this, Kevin always makes me feel at ease and as if he's known me for decades. Finally, there is barely any wait time and he works fast - but without ever feeling rushed!
