He is a caring and considerate professional who understood my anxiousness and aptly modified his approach to suit my needs (regular breaks for my jaw) and communicated well with me throughout my general appointment about how I was doing and what he was doing next.

Fantastic experience: I was treated by Dr Amit Kalra. He is good in his work. Explained me everything and the tooth extraction was nearly painless. I only felt the local anaesthetic for a quick second and that was it. Rest of the procedure was completely painless. I was given electronic instructions on my phone number which were very useful. The whole episode was over in a short time. I was very impressed with the experience.

Negative experience: Cheap, Not!.. Painless, Not! But more than anything was the lack of empathy for the pain I was in, & the way I was spoken too about my dental health. Shame on you dude! Personally I think you're a true jerk!

Negative experience: Do not recommend!! Changing from 5 star to 1. I have anxiety, and terrified of the dentist. I avoided it for many years, but knew l had to go as having some pain. I had heard the ads on the radio, and decided to give it a go...even though it is 30 mins from my home. The initial phone call was amazing. Receptionist incredibly kind and understanding. So booked in. First visit was outstanding. X-rays done, and dental plan put in place. Dentist was very understanding of my anxiety. First visit was an extraction, which l had to go to Edgeworth practice for. Didn't rate the dentist, but the assistant was unbelievable! Held my hand. Reassured me. So had another 4 visits that needed to be done at Swansea. Dentist was still very understanding on my first visit for fillings, but dental assistant was opposite of Edgeworth. Apart from telling me to put on the bib...not another word. Not hi, good morning, how are you feeling, are you doing ok. Zip. And this continued through each visit. She should not be in this practice that promotes care and understanding. So third visit l was given the anaesthetic needle, chair put right back...and then left laying there for 35 mins!!! By the third visit l had thought...you can do this. It's ok. You got this. But laying reclined for that amount of time alone in the room made my anxiety HUGE!! Same rude dental assistant. Last time l went, even though l needed more work done. Avoid this place. The 'love' was there at the start, but slowly stopped with each visit. Have had others who have felt exactly the same way, and even same comments about dental assistant. $2500 spent. Could have gone 5 mins down the road and possibly got same or better service and care.

Fantastic experience: Thank you. I think you may have cured my dentistry anxiety. I have been to your clinic multiple times now, all the staff couldn't be more friendly. I have never felt any pain or been uncomfortable. I actually enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned. Highly recommend.

After seeing a dentist whom was quite rough, scared my children and wanted to remove two of my child's teeth I decided to seek a second opinion and find a new dentist. So glad we found dentist for chickens. My child's teeth did not need to be removed and dentist for chickens were able to fill the teeth. My child felt very calm and relaxed.

I didn't believe it was possible....a rather large ancient filling of mine had dropped out and the most caring, gentle dentist you could imagine - Dr. Ravinder - today popped in a new one without any pain at all being experienced by me, arguably the world's biggest chicken when it comes to pain of any kind. Truly amazing, wonderful, friendly service by all concerned. Next appointment already booked!! 10/10 service.

Negative experience: Should have driven half an hour and waited on the wait list for my regular dentist in long jetty, Heard the ad on the radio and fell for it thinking these guys provide a calm and non traumatic experience. Dentist explained zero of what he was doing , shoving things in my mouth, no use of a mouth opener and not even telling me when he was doing the needle absolutely zero putting me at ease, was yanking and pulling and so rough have had a sore jaw and nightmares for 2 nights since goingn. My mouth was FULL of blood at the end and he goes" oh do you want to rinse" um are you serious? And the doesn't give me a cup of rinse he instead squirts his little water nozzle in my mouth! Chair was extremely uncomfortable, tv on ceiling but they dont offer to let you watch. Never again!!! Go somewhere else especially if you're nervous!

And now I’m not they are all so kind and take your feelings on board it’s hard to find people who genuinely care about you these days during tough times they are amazing and affordable (they have after-pay / zip pay) can’t recommend them enough! 5/5 I’d give them 10 if I could!

Fantastic experience: I recently had to get a crown or cap and was really happy with the professional service provided at the Dentist for Chickens. The whole procedure was completed in a day, not having to wait a week or more for the cap to be made. No pain and I was particularly impressed with how Dr Amit made sure the cap fitted exactly, paying great attention to detail. The staff were very friendly and the whole process was conducted in a very covid safe manner. If you've got a problem with your teeth or just need a checkup, be confident that these people will look after you. Thank you Dr Amit and staff .

Negative experience: I have been going to the same dentist for 30 years, we have moved and so I thought I would try these guys out since they are highly reviewed. I just sat in the waiting room for 1hr, in this time other people arrived and left whilst I waited. To be fair, I can only review the admin staff because I mentioned my grievances (passively) and walked out. Even the assistant that I spoke to was unapolagetic. Voted with my feet, that's a no from me!

Negative experience: I will never recommend this place. I got dentures here. A year of goung to this dentist I have ended up with ill fitting dentures that hurt. $4 500.00 out of pocket. Absolutely atrocious.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to have a molar removed and was very apprehensive about getting it done as only heard of bad experiences from friends about getting this procedure. Have to say i was very impressed, I was in and out in no time and was in very little pain at all.( only had to take a total of 2 panadol for next 2 days then was fine ) I even received a follow up call to see how i was feeling which i missed but was nice. Can't reccomend highly enough

Fantastic experience: Such a wonderful dentist to have treatment done I had to have 2 teeth removed and never had it done before, the staff are so kind and caring. They made me feel very comfortable and calm during the procedure, also called me the next day and a couple of days later to make sure I was ok and well and to also make sure I had no issues or problems. I would highly recommend Swansea dental care to everyone looking for a really positive, caring and calm experience especially for first timers like myself who are abit anxious, they really know how to make sure your experience is extremely comfortable and pleasant.

Fantastic experience: I walked in last Friday assuming that I would only have my teeth cleansed, or even just checked. When I was told my wisdom tooth broke and needed to be removed, I was a bit hesitant thinking of my colleague’s swollen face after her wisdom tooth removal. But I agreed to go ahead because Dr sounded as if it would be just a walk in the park for both of us. And it WAS! I didn’t feel a thing when the tooth was taken out. Plus, NO swollen face! Amazing work.

Fantastic experience: I have had a long lasting fear of going to the dentist and have refused to go until I absolutely had to. After hearing recommendations I googled dentist for chickens and found so many reassuring reviews that I knew this was the only place to wanted to go. To anyone else in this position, there’s nothing to worry about! The staff are so friendly and do all they can to make you feel at ease. Had two fillings done and it was completely painless. My teeth look great, couldn’t even tell they have fillings. Recovery was also very quick, by nighttime everything felt back to normal.
