Positive experience: ** EDITED AFTER SUCCESSFUL MONTH OF THE REPAIRED TOOTH BEIN IN TACT ** Although it took abit of distress and run around to get in contact with a team member and make an appointment for another visit, the service recovery by Nancy and Dr G was wonderful. I felt heard and empathised with after the fact. They were on time and already versed on what happened and got straight to fixing the tooth (Apparently which hadn’t ever broken within a week before). Just be mindful the aftercare support through the app is minimal and there is no other way of getting in Contact with anyone when you need it. ______________________________ Original post : one star : I attended a week ago to get my chipped front tooth repaired (needed a filling) and less than one week later it has crumbled from the sheer pressure of chewing with my other teeth! I was told it would take up to a week to settle, but not to crumble in my mouth completely! I’ve followed all instructions avoiding even apples and nuts which were warned against.

Fantastic experience: I wish there was something above 5 stars , Doctor Jilin Michael Cai is very professional about how to communicate with patients specially we immigrants have a small heart far from our homelands, his price , the way he answers the questions of patient with patience so they feel like Yes I’m at the right place ,his knowledge about every little thing happening and future prediction of worries my goodness , My dad always told me a doctor is a Soul-Father , Doctor Jilin is so nice , I went on 10th of June , No pain while treatment , it was proper treatment and quick , the helper was very nice too with him , I couldn’t cry there but I was very emotional at the end , I wish all the doctors in this world treat their patients like doctor Jilin , it’s just 1 visit while root canal with him , have 1 more root canal and 2 crown visits left , I’m very much satisfied in the first visit , I never write reviews but this time I want people to know This doctor exists in Sydney , I wish him good luck and I wish within next some years I will see him the number 1 doctor in Sydney , I can see his talent being educated myself , May God bless him and bless dental 99 amen ❤️Regards Adil

Fantastic experience: Don’t know where to begin! I had my wisdom tooth taken out I’m terrified of the dentist however the whole thing was soo seamless did not feel a thing! And the best part is I was quoted $1,550 from another dentist practice! While here they quoted me only $500 like the difference is unbelievable!

Negative experience: I requested a new mouthguard, but was told I had to go through the whole process again. Other clinics said they could reuse my last mould. It feels like this clinic is just trying to squeeze more money out of me—terrible service. UPDATE: Be careful about the accuracy and transparency of clinical documentation at this clinic. During my appointment, the attending dentist clearly told me that the issue with my tooth may have stemmed from a previously completed filling. However, this important detail was not reflected in the dental notes. As a patient, I rely on clear communication and trust that what is verbally conveyed to me is properly documented. It is not my responsibility to ensure that internal records match the discussion I had with the dentist. This discrepancy raises concerns about accountability and the completeness of patient records, especially when such details could be relevant to future treatment or insurance matters. Patients deserve confidence that their care is documented accurately and that verbal explanations are reflected in the clinical file. In this case, that standard was not met

My dentist was honest, straight forward yet very kind and supportive with delivering the news. Letting me know we can manage it from here on out and not to worry. Fantastic experience: First time I visited the dentist in 15 years since high school. Went for a checkup and clean and was a bit worried about how bad my teeth would be but dr vijayran made me feel very comfortable. She cleaned my teeth and explained everything to me and made sure I wasn't in any pain or discomfort. Definitely recommend going as it’s the cheapest around and just as good as any other dentist

Negative experience: Quite unprofessional Dr Neha Vijayran. She was 1.5 hours late and I kept getting messages from the clinic to arrive later but no eta. However, when I got there doctor was lagging and hardly spent 2 minutes on cleaning. Such a disappointing experience.

Negative experience: 2.30 appointment was changed to 3.00 at 2.53 while I had signed in at 2.20...sat into chair at 2.56 was finished with by 3.09 for a full cleaning and checkup...rushed me through because they were running behind time never even bothered buffing the teeth after or taking the after pics for the app..appreciate every business runs behind but don't rush the next client who paid the same as the one before

Negative experience: Feeling incredibly let down by the dental team. I went for clean and check up, needing fillings and extraction. Two weeks later fillings still hurting. Extraction occurred Saturday and was less than pleasant experience. Root broke off in the bone and they needed to cut my bone. Have been in excruciating pain and have sent multiple messages with no reply. Shouldn’t be required to pay $99 for a follow up appointment for pain. Ended seeing gp and getting stronger pain relief. Ended up at another dental clinic, to have pain taken care of from a dry socket. Now on a course of antibiotics. If the team at marayong had responded this could have been taken care of earlier than tonight and saved myself days of pain and inability to eat, drink or sleep. Will never return

Negative experience: Edit: it’s been 6 months of pain since I got my front tooth filling done. At the time she said “I hope I got it all” it didn’t sound confident… I was surprised about her lack of confidence if she had done the job properly or not. I’m really annoyed because I had zero pain before going there.. went for purely cosmetic reasons… had nothing but temperature sensitivity since 6 months now! even tap water at room temperature hurts my front tooth!! Breathing in air from my mouth hurts it! I’ve had to change my breathing to accommodate front tooth sensitivity which I never had before. Now has developed into a constant pain that won’t go away! Same problem for another tooth filing dr fixed as it was slight broken on side. Same doctor. I have unbearable pain in 2 teeth now because of that dr! Not happy!! I will be going to a proper dentist now

Fantastic experience: I've had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Vijayran, and she is incredibly nice and gentle. Let's face it, nobody really enjoys going to the dentist, but her considerate approach and thoroughness make the experience much less scary. What I particularly love is the convenience of being able to make an appointment through the app, where I can see the cost and book right away. The concept of cutting out the "middle man" is fantastic, and I wish more dentists and doctor's offices would adopt such a streamlined approach.

Positive experience: I have to say that they were running behind when I arrived @0930. Had a bit of a whinge, dentist explained the situation and I was happy to a point. By about @0945, I was sitting in the chair and getting tortured. It actually was a good feeling to have my tooth pain fixed, I have to say the dentist did an awesome job and it cost me $50 buck extra for the filling, by the time I left there were three other people waiting to be tortured. It was a good experience over all and it has been awhile since going to a dentist and it's always hard to just relax when seeing a new person. Not to much pain and the lady dentist was very good, and maybe I didn't need to ask about the timings and it worked out to be awesome and a job well done. The cost of the service was only $99, which was very affordable considering the thorough examination and x-rays that were conducted to ensure an accurate diagnosis. Dr. Neha was incredibly patient and informative throughout the entire process. She explained the procedure to me in detail, answered all of my questions, and presented me with various options. After the diagnosis, I was informed that I required a root canal treatment. Dr. Neha then proceeded to clean and fill my tooth and performed an additional x-ray to ensure that the treatment was successful. The dental care I received was comprehensive, covering pre- and post-treatment x-rays, pain management, and the initial root canal procedure, all included in the $99 fee. I was impressed by Dr. Neha's expertise and attention to detail, which made me feel comfortable and well-cared-for throughout the entire process.

Super painful teeth cleaning process After the "treatment" kept pushing me to do other treatment straight away, she said she can do it now. But the real thing is my appointment is already late for 20mins and her next appointment is waiting for her outside. I will not go to any dental99 branch anymore, last time I went to the other dental 99 but not branded as dental 99 is much better! But they no longer work with dental99.

Fantastic experience: Dental 99 easily offers the most affordable dental care I've come across in Sydney, with no compromise on quality. I had xrays, a filling removed, tooth decay cleaned and a new filling put in and this all came under a single $99 treatment for toothache resolution. The whole process was incredibly transparent, and I got to see clear pictures of my tooth before and after treatment. Dr Aarathi who treated me was so lovely, very professional and made sure I was feeling okay throughout the procedure.

Negative experience: My filling came off lasted only for 4months. I came here for only 1 filling right upper molar, she saw the molar next to it needs filling so I was convinced. What happen was she put also the filling in between the gap of both molars, when it came off it was painful everytime I chew, the food pushed to the gum . I didnt get the chance to visit Marayong Dental 99 before I left for holiday overseas coz I was so busy. I didnt enjoy eating anyfood overseas, I used my left side to chew but the problem also is no more upper left molar tooth to use for chewing.

Fantastic experience: My first visit,had a extraction of a broken front tooth, only 2 mm of tooth visible but Dr D.Balasooriya not just a lovely lady, but a excellent dentist who removed the tooth with gentility and professionalism.At no time was I anxious, everything else at the surgery was of a high standard.Thankyou Dental99, also excellent value for the price.

Negative experience: Never visiting ever again. I had 1 filling to be done and first filling was done in Auagust and ended up being faulty with gap between teeth and food getting stuck even after filling was done. Hence went for redoing for another session. Today, beginning of October, all the filling has come off and I am back to square one. Each time I had 1 week of pain due to filling sessions. Plus wate of money as well.

Fantastic experience: Finally a professional dental practice that doesn't charge a fortune for fillings and extractions, its always $99.00 and the app reminds me and counts me down till I check in with my QR scanner. I got there within 33 secs of my appt time today. I pay when I book so the only people I have to deal with is the dentist then I'm out the door. Dr Dinoshi is who I choose when I book. I've been there twice now, and just booked again for tomorrow. I am like many other people, I really don't love going to the dentist, however coming here is not an issue, I love the process from the app, to the end and I can change my appointment if something comes up. (as long as it is within 24hrs notice.) It's made going to the dentist easy and actually enjoyable. I can't believe I am even saying this. I also get the X-ray pic's and the before and after pic's of the work done on the dental 99 app. As a visual person , I love that part as well.So just go. I am glad I did Lisa

Negative experience: Updated review July 14 2022 I have had to lower my review to 1 star as my second visit to Dental99 Marayong was problematic. My wife and I booked appointments in the app. My wife's was cancelled with no notice 1 hour before her appointment. There is no number to call and the online chat box left us on read for 20 minutes. There was no notice of the cancellation, no call, no text, no app alert. Money cant be returned to our bank accounts, it is stuck in the app. _______________ Initial review from 2020 below We thought we would give this place a try for a $99 check up and clean. This was less than half the price of getting a check up and clean elsewhere. We just finished our appointments and we are so happy. The dentist and assistant were kind and professional. The service was just the same as any other dentist we have been to. I would definitely recommend this if you are considering it, and Ill be heading back also :)

Fantastic experience: I had my dental done here by Dr Aarathi Krishna. I was little hesitant at first but have to say Aarathi did a pretty good job. I don’t have any pain and she was very courteous ensuring I was comfortable throughout the procedure I recommend her 100%, a job well done.

Fantastic experience: I had an appointment with Dr. Samita Gyawali for filling today. It’s my first ever dental treatment in Sydney as my long time dentist is overseas. She is very lovely. So professional and soo good too. I felt comfortable with her. I was only meant to have a tooth filled but I ended have having all my teeth cleaned as well. Thanks so much Dr. Samita.
