Fantastic experience: Broke a tooth off its root but tooth was still hanging on the gum. I phoned the dental office at 9am with my emergency. They booked me in at 12:15pm. Dentist xrayed and then pulled the tooth from the gum and dug out the root with no pain. Staff were very friendly and gave me instructions how to care for area of mouth when freezing comes out. Will be going back to have my dental looked after. My wife was was waiting for me and signed up to be a patient after I told her I was happy with the dentist looking after my procedure.

Positive experience: The staff are very helpful and professional. The appointment started on time. The first Dentist I saw was good, a little heavy handed on my jaw but otherwise fine. An issue occurred after my first visit. I have been back two times and still have the issue that was caused by the first dentist. Both dentists push for cleaning and fluoride each visit. The issue is still not resolved.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with my Dental treatment with Tiffany ..she is a most professional and caring Dentist. She made the experience of having a filling very comfortable. I also found that she was most informative about my future Dental care that I really needed to know. I found Tiffany's technique to relax a patient having a needed most impressive. Just by wriggling fingers and toes really helped during that very stressful process. Tiffany also used a massage device on my cheek during the drilling process. I found it most therapeutic and took the uncomfortable feeling of the drill completely away. She told me this possess was her idea. She purchased it from Rebel Sport. I think this is an amazing idea and other Dentists should perhaps follow this. Overall I was very impressed with my Experience at the John Street Dental Clinic. From the.time I made my appointment.by phone right up to checking in at Reception. I will definitely be going back and recommending that Clinic to my friends and family.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrific experience! Came in with a government voucher and was rushed out the door like i was an inconvenience, despite coming in for an emergency extraction. The dentist explained nothing she was doing and didn’t even fix the problem tooth and ended up extracting a different tooth that wasn't an issue !! I was in tears from the pain and shown ZERO remorse or given any breaks i already have a fear of the dentist and took a lot to get me to go in, only after being in extreme pain for a week did i end up pushing myself to go just to have the worst experience which has only further traumatised me !!! I do not recommend Dr. Reema !

Fantastic experience: I was recently treated by Dr Nik at Johns Street Dental. I found Dr Nik to be very patient, understanding & extremely competent. I do not have good teeth, and am very wary of dentists. But Dr Nik has done a great job, I would have no hesitation in a return visit. I highly recommend him as a dentist, in my opinion.

Negative experience: Though I used a government voucher today I was still a client dentist when spoken to ask questions about how to improve my gum health for example he wouldn't give me any form of answer it was stick needles in touch your tooth hurt yank I worked in retail for over 20 years as manager and trainer no matter what field you work in you have to build customer relations to improve your own business for recommendations I am grateful he did the work believe me I needed it but the dentist does need to improve his communication skills with his clients no matter where they're coming from

Negative experience: Worst dental experience ever. ! After recently having two teeth extracted when it was only meant for 1,then the wrong dentist calling me in and getting me confused with another patient with same name they tried swapping there dental charts whilst I'm in there operation room. 2 days later I'm in severe pain, I call the dentist, they will not provide pain medication because of the medication I'm on. So im stuck all weekend going through serious pain until I see my doctor on the Monday. After calling them on the Friday before to get some help with the pain which they can give you a prescription for, they were meant to follow up on the Monday with me. No phone call or follow up. It's now Wednesday and I now have dry socket and infection in my mouth. 1 whole week in extreme pain, because of 1 dentist. I highly recommend to do some research before seeing this dentist.

Fantastic experience: Hands down. I had the best dental experience EVER today. Dr Shane Hourihan administered a topical numbing gel before injecting the anaesthetic. I didn’t feel a thing! I thought the numbing gel would only work on the immediate surface of my gum but I did not feel it at all. Maybe it was his craftsmanship plus the gel? His bedside manner was also incredible. Very kind and talks through each new process. Also his assistant was very encouraging and professional. (Sorry, but I didn’t get her name).

Fantastic experience: The team at John St Dental recognised that I was having a medical emergency at their practice, and responded accordingly. It's not ideal that it happened, however the team including Christina helped saved my life that day. Right place, right time. All the medical professionals were impressed at the hospital. John St have also assisted in my dental health, Nick has been so accommodating, and I cannot recommend the practice enough.

Fantastic experience: Professional and caring. I took my grand daughter who was in so much pain (and has anxiety) into John Street Dental. Everyone there is amazing. Very patient, allowing for her anxiety and making sure she was very numb. Highly recommend. Pricing is very reasonable. Especially as this was a Saturday.

Fantastic experience: Daniel has been our family dentist for about 8 years . Would not want to see anyone else. He put my then nervous teenage son right at ease to the point of he was happy attending his appointments . Positive experience: I thought I would try this dental services again after my last dentist left. Booking online was great but the reason why I'm leaving a 3 star rating is because I arrived 30 mins early, and have been waiting for the reception to check me in and no-one has been at the desk but I can hear voices in the coming from out back. There is no bell or buzzer to notify them of your arrival. Very disappointed

Fantastic experience: I had to have a tooth extracted and was very pleasantly surprised how lovely all the staff there were. I had a new arrival Dr Russell and he explained everything very thoroughly, and was very gentle. His assistant was also lovely and really had the knack of relaxing me for the procedure. The reception staff were also very nice and professional as well. If I had to find a fault after a lot of soul searching it would be the TV reception (their fault for having it on the cricket channel). I will definitely be using them in the future and recommend them highly.

Fantastic experience: Yes, I wrote a rather scathing review on the 7th Jan '24 re: an unusual occurrence at the dental clinic, whereby I was dismissed as a patient by a treating dentist. Due to, no doubt, to disagreements as to the best dental treatment for me. Since that time, I was contacted by the General Manager and have been listened to with respect, courtesy and professionalism. What a relief to be heard. Anita made a difficult situation easy and pleasant to navigate and resolve. Cannot praise 'Anita', John St Dental's General Manager highly enough. A truly lovely lady, patient and understanding and we came to a mutual agreement that meets both our needs as a professional dental practice and myself as the patient. Anita helped me tremendously through a difficult situation and has been more than generous in making amends. She was kind, she was empathic and is an asset to this company. The receptionist staff at the Clinic are also very helpful, lovely, considerate and polite. It means so much these days. Will be attending this dental clinic again soon and I am sure future experiences will be pleasant and easy going. Thankyou John St Dental for your most helpful consideration of your valued patients. Thankyou for resolving issues so pleasantly and well. It is most appreciated.

Fantastic experience: Was told I needed my Wisdom tooth out, won’t lie I was scared, you hear so many horror stories about wisdom teeth. I had DR Harry, OMG, he not only made me feel relaxed, but had my tooth out in no time. The process from the beginning was exceptional with no pain, from the needle to the extraction.
