Negative experience: I don't recommend Dr Maaz Naveed, as I found a lack of work ethic and compassion to his approach. I also think that he needs more experience to provide the level of care expected. Typical indian or middle eastern of some sort. Don't bring these kind of people into your practice. They will drag your business down. He doesn't even deserve 1 star to be honest.

I have been struggling for over 3 years with losing many teeth to bad health have always been scared to go to a dentist because of anxiety and depression after one visit to dr Sunil for a review of getting new dentures procedure I felt very comfortable the staff are amazing I certainly hate needles as a fear but the assistants were so friendly and helpful one even held my hand to ensure there wouldn’t be so much pain involved after getting 2 teeth out the only ones left dr Sunil was amazing I now getting new dentures and feel so good about myself . Please do call smith st dental if you need cleaning or just a checkup or even a extraction they also do all health insurance claims Thank you to smith st dental . Had another appointment today with dr Sunil to check on a sore tooth he amazing with his work thank you once again hardly any pain staff assistants are very friendly .

Negative experience: Despite the unwelcoming appearance of their corrugated iron building, I booked an urgent appointment for a recurring issue. Unfortunately, the dentist made no effort to address my problem and instead charged me a hefty $240 for a simple cleaning. Backpackers, avoid this place !!! National Dental Care is a much better option!

From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Zoey was incredibly thorough during my dental cleaning, taking the time to explain each step of the process and ensuring I was comfortable throughout.

Fantastic experience: I am from Argentina and I came to this center after having a very bad experience in a previous place, where they told me that my case was very complicated and that they would have to remove my tooth. Then, when I arrived at this center looking for a second opinion I was attended by Dr. Abdi Hajali who was very kind and loving from the very beginning. He checked me very carefully and explained to me that my tooth did not have any problem, but that it was an infection in the sinus that was causing pain. A totally different diagnosis than the one I had been given the day before. The treatment was very respectful and professional. And he was very precise in all his movements. I highly recommend him.

Dr Priti made the procedure as comfortable as possible and explained everything clearly. I am grateful for her exceptional skills and compassionate approach. All the Admin staffs we're also lovely and helpful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I am visiting Darwin from Perth. I had raging toothache last night. I found this dentist on line and was able to book an appointment for next day on line. I was going to phone to check if an earlier appointment was available but at 8 am Dr Jari phoned to offer an appointment at 8.30. He was professional and personable and explained the options. He drained the infection and really helped relieve the pain. If I was living here I would make him my regular dentist. First rate. Helpful staff at reception as well.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday, I went to Smith Street Dental for my regular 6 months check-up and cleaning. I was pleased to find out that my Bupa insurance covered the visit, just like it has in the past. The staff was friendly and I had a great experience. I will definitely be returning for future appointments, knowing that they are fully covered by my Bupa insurance. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Just recently got my braces off after almost 2 years having them.Thank you Dr Yann and all the lovely women doing my braces. Really good orthodontist, they make your teeth straight as. Currently using my retainers, everything is good as so happy with the results.

Negative experience: Used to go to this clinic, however when Dr Eupeine sold the practice, went there once to see how it was. Not happy. Besides that the ownership and staff have changed, so how can you put up old 5 star reviews that were given years ago, and not only the ones that are relevant to the new group who bought the practice. Seems very dodgy to me.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dentist , Dr Rembrandt was very gentle, skillful and professional... assuaged my fear of dental procedures, fixed my filling that fell out , and cleaned and polished my teeth all in one go....highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Whilst travelling through Darwin I unfortunately had a filling fall out. I was able to book an appointment very soon with Dr Mas who provided excellent patient care. She was very thorough in explaining what the issue was and what was going on during the procedure. The price for replacing the filling was reasonable. The procedure involved me having my jaw fairly wide open for some time and when there was a lull in the procedure she massaged my jaw! I have never experienced such patient care at a dentist before (and I have been to a few dentists in my life). Very professional, exceptional patient care and reasonably priced. If I were a resident of Darwin I’d have Dr Mas as my Dentist all the time.

Fantastic experience: Dr Priti Lamda replaced an old filling with a new filling and crowned my broken tooth in an emergency situation. Dr Priti is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished dentists I have ever been treated by. The whole experience, from the first telephone inquiry to the front office personnel interactions, was exceptional. What a wonderful team! Thank you so much to Dr Priti and her staff. Negative experience: I came yesterday for a general check and a general cleaning, they finally made a scan plus other things that they made me paid at the end without telling me I had to pay for that services too. I was supposed to pay 170$ and left with a 300$ invoice. The dentist was good but you cannot make pay someone without telling before what they have to pay for. Very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I, like many people, have a chronic phobia of dentists. I was incredibly reluctant to have my broken and loose tooth seen to and preferred to live with the discomfort. When it started to affect my speech, I understood it was time to get it looked at. I asked my Darwin friends for a recommendation, and Smith Street Dental was obviously the place. Terrified, I went along. I needn't have worried. My dentist was Nathan, and he was exceptional. While he was incredibly sensitive to my anxiety, he was also calm, non-judgmental, and communicated with me in a compassionate and very professional manner. He listened to my concerns, and worked quickly and painlessly to solve my problem. His assistants were also brilliant with their care and professionalism. My extraction was quick and painless, and in the two days since, I have had no pain whatsoever. The clinic also provides you with a detailed form that outlines self-care after the procedure, which has been very useful. I could not recommend Smith Street Dental more highly. Exceptional service, very reasonable prices, and Nathan was fantastic. Thank you.

A thorough consultation resulting in a crown achieved in-house in less than half a day….. difficult to find this type of service these days!

Fantastic experience: While on holiday in Darwin my wife Marea broke a tooth and needed an urgent appointment. The reception staff were very helpful and she got a same day appointment. The dentist she saw was Dr Nathan. He was very professional and reassuring, discussed the plan for treatment, costs, and answered all questions. The treatment went well and she felt she was in very good hands. The last place you want to be when your on holiday is in the dentist chair, but very glad she picked a very good practice, the nurses were also very supportive. Highly recommend Dr Nathan.

Negative experience: After seeing the google reviews I was hopeful I'd have a good experience at Smith St dental and get my tooth issue resolved. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience. The dentist commenced a root canal treatment, and put a serrated metal ring around the tooth. He had troubles finding one that fitted properly, and ended up placing an ill fitting metal cover as he has another appointment to attend to. Within 30 minutes my gums were bleeding and the next day infected. I managed to remove the metal ring and could see the serrated edges. I then went to another dentist surgery who were shocked to hear about my experience, within 60 minutes they treated the tooth and gums. When I let the reception at Smith Street know of my experience, they shrugged at me, there was no empathy, apologies or offer to refund the hefty price tag. Don't go here.

Positive experience: They told me that x-ray needs to be done every couple of years only AFTER they already performed it on me and after i informed them i had one done 10 months ago. Also they said if you ever need to go somewhere else the new practice can request your xray details so why didnt they do that for me and ask for my previous records when i first booked the appointment? Would've saved me a bunch of money and a dose of radiation! On the upside Danika provided a great service, very professional and approachable.

Fantastic experience: I have terminal cancer and undergoing chemo therapy. I had a sharp broken tooth needing attention as my mouth can ulcerate quickly from any cut. I called the practice for an appointment, I did not ask for special treatment but I had to mention I am undergoing chemo therapy. The staff went out of their way to accommodate me. The dentist treated me with utmost care and compassion. I cannot express how appreciative I am to everyone there, the dentist, dental assistant and reception staff. Thank you, thank you.

Fantastic experience: I had to have my wisdom teeth taken out due to unexpected pain; the doctor and nurse I was booked with were very friendly and accommodating (I hadn't had any dental surgery done before, so I was rather nervous). Absolutely no pain at all during the procedure, and I was given extensive information on aftercare. All in all a 10/10.
