Negative experience: A 15 minute 6 monthly checkup for my daughter cost over $700! She didn’t have any cavities. It was a quick appointment. Not happy at all and will look elsewhere for her next appointment.

Fantastic experience: Bupa Dental at St Ives was really clean and Andy and Mitch, the receptionists, were really friendly and supportive. Good clean done, thanks to Erika- very detailed but not aggressive or rough with the clean, no pain - it was a comfortable chair experience! She would ask me time to time if i was alright and comfortable. There was also a TV screen on the ceiling that kept me distracted during the clean, so time flew by! Would recommend getting a check up and clean by Erika. Thank you team!!

Fantastic experience: I had to get a last minute emergency filling done before flying overseas for my two weeks the next day and was stressing about whether I’d be able to see someone to get it fixed. I called up my regular BUPA St Ives dentist practice and they very kindly managed to fit me in and have the problem fixed by Erica who was so sweet and attentive to help me out as I’m extremely fussy with my teeth. These guys always strive to provide great patient satisfaction and are always extremely helpful whenever we visit BUPA St Ives dentist practice.

Negative experience: We normally have an excellent service at Bupa dental at St Ives but our last visit has been really disappointing. The front desk has incorrectly used another person's insurance card against our dental bill and gave us back the wrong insurance card. They called and want us back at their practice immediately. However we returned, they expect us to wait for another 10 minutes to get our card back, which time we don't have as we have to rush back to do school pick up. I would also want to point out that we are normally asked to complete a questionnaire at the end of each visit to get our feedback but we were not asked to complete the customer feedback for our last visit. Very disappointing behaviour.

The care, consideration and smile that greets me down to the chair treatment is exceptional both by the clinician and the nurse. Fantastic experience: The dental hygienist along with all the front desk staff were incredibly kind to my 4 year old daughter as she was a little nervous to get her teeth cleaned. It was a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend Bupa dental to any other parents of young children. It was also very easy to get an appointment. Being Bupa members, a general clean and check up along with x rays for myself was completely covered so we paid nothing out of pocket.

Dentist was great, explained what was required and some possible future work - no pressure to have anything done unlike a lot of dentist’s these days. The gap payment was so small!

Negative experience: I was very disappointed concerning the amount of money that were charge to me. I do not have insurance and it was a one time only check up because I am in Australia only short term. I checked with the receptionists the week before to get the regular price for a clean up and also called another Dental office, both were around the same price. Surprise when the bill was in front of me after my clean up, a good 50$ more then expected. Maybe because of the photos he took of my teeth Completely unnecessary for my case ?For sure the dentist didn’t mind to tell me beforehand that it would cost me. It only show me that they don’t care about the customers and only for their money. Very disappointed, shouldn’t have choose this place.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited the Bupa Dental St Ives team and was throughly impressed with the service provided by all team members I engaged with. The dentist was not only professional but also very considerate, making me feel at ease throughout the entire appointment. The dentist took the time to address all my questions related to my sore tooth, explaining each one in detail. Not only that, but the dentist also had a great sense of humor and made me laugh in between, which really helped to alleviate any anxiety I had. The team provides excellent service and genuinely cares - Thanks heaps to the dentist and his team.

I learned more about good teeth health care than I ever knew before. He made me feel completely relaxed and thoroughly informed.
