Negative experience: I had a disappointing experience at Braces and Faces in Geelong. When I arrived for my child’s appointment, the first receptionist couldn’t find the booking and even asked if I was sure I had one—though I definitely did. Thankfully, a second receptionist stepped in and confirmed that my child’s name was in the system and helped locate the appointment. I then provided the referral slip I was given by our dentist for an x-ray, and the first receptionist seemed quite annoyed. She said it was the wrong slip and that I needed a different one, apparently a different colour, for both an x-ray and consultation. I wasn’t informed of this beforehand and had no way of knowing the referral was incorrect. Unfortunately, I had taken time off work and picked up my kids early just to attend this appointment, but was told there was no availability that day. The only option I was given was for the following Monday at a specific time, and I was told that if we didn’t take it, we’d have to wait months for another spot. Overall, I felt like I was being blamed for a mistake that wasn’t mine, and the interaction was far from welcoming. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

A special thanks to Donna for scanning my teeth and explaining the Invisalign process. I can’t remember the name of the staff that took my X-ray and photos thank you to her she was lovely and patient with me. Dr Sama Al-Junaid Took the time to explain my treatment in detail explaining I need IPR and elastics ect. I felt so supported and understood throughout the visit. I highly recommend Braces N Faces to anyone in need of orthodontic care!

Negative experience: Not the best work practice when the person doing the molds talking to the nurse how annoyed she is and wants a meeting to discuss about stopping the emergencies in front of a patient. Sorry you can’t help when there is an emergency and certainly should never discuss these things in front of a patient.

If ever they have been busy, we would leave a voicemail and Sue would call us back within 5 minutes (obviously they’re busy cause they're great!). We’ve only just been to our third appointment and I feel like everyone has become part of our family already. From the beautiful reception staff, to Donna explaining in thorough detail what to expect and showing us with models what was going to be used, and Dr Sama obviously living her passion, we didn’t look anywhere else. Negative experience: I felt extremely disrespected and uncomfortable by the receptionist named Sue. Sue doesn't know how to talk privately regarding sensitive matters. She is making faces and rolling her eyes to me .This is not the first time regarding her arrogant behaviour towards me. I hope that this behaviour will soon be fixed towards customers. The orthodontists are extremely good and professional except for SUE. I hope that the management take better steps towards Sue's misbehaviour towards customers.

Positive experience: I was assessed for Invisalign by the friendly team at Braces n Faces a couple of weeks ago. Firstly, the staff are incredible, from the first phone call through to the consultation, the service was wonderful and both the nurse and orthodontist were attentive to answering my questions. I would 100% select Braces n Faces for my treatment as I would prefer a lady orthodontist, however the $1,500 price difference (20%+) between these guys and another reputable orthodontist in Hoppers Crossing, who offered a similar treatment breakdown using the same appliances, is hard to justify for me in this economic climate. This is the priciest Invisalign quote that I have received, nonetheless, they have a good payment plan so if you are willing to pay a premium, I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Very disappointing. Whenever you call, they won’t pick up the phone, it is always a recorded message playing for call back. And if you visit the clinic, you will face the most rude, disrespectful and unprofessional reception staff.

The orthodonthist, Sama, and her assistant were very easy to understand, reasonable and gave a peace of mind with the explanation. Hopefully all will be well too for the next visit in the future.

Negative experience: Our experience unfortunately was terrible. The orthodontist was inconsiderate and unprofessional. She didnt hesitate to vent her frustration at my child’s face several times during the treatment when the procedure wasn’t coming right. What do you expect doing so to someone’s face whose mouth is held tight at treatment, especially at a child.? Afterall my child is a teenager who’s mature enough to understand instructions and has been through medical procedures & dental appointments in the past without any issues. She didn’t seem to respect other peoples time and emotions but only demanded that her time costs money!. After much inconvenience and trauma with this bitter encounter later we went ahead with a different Orthodontists clinic. We were amazed by their professionalism and precision in techniques which were top notch! My child was at ease and finally got the most awaited braces fixed in no time. Surely your orthodontist need to look out and learn from others!

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit for my 7 year old check up. And I am very happy overall. Right from timely communication, reminders , being considerate for last minute changes , flexible to the time you enter and get greeted really well by the reception , not much waiting time. And then the orthodontist was very professional and thorough with her knowledge. I was well educated in my child’s dental condition. And my child too felt very comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Negative experience: I had braces twice through braces and faces and both times I was left more embarrassed of my smile than originally. When I got them off I wasn’t happy with them and told the dentist that one of the tooth wasn’t straight and he said “it was straight from behind” yeah great cause everyone’s looking at it from behind. I also had a wire put behind my top teeth which feel off while I was eating. Called the dentist straight away and in the time it took to get another appointment my teeth had moved too much to be able to have it put back so I would have needed braces a third time. My bottom teeth also had a wire put on the bottom which kept coming off and needing to be reglued. The last time I went in the doctor put too much glue which created too much pressure and has now lead to my teeth no longer being straight. Do not go here. I’m going to have to spend thousands more to correct my teeth. I regret coming here.
