Fantastic experience: Ok - so no one really likes going to the dentist. However - when you’ve got to go - this is the place for you! My experience? I was made to feel like a VIP customer on my first visit. An emergency temporary crown. The team was caring, they listened to my needs and treated me as a valued patient. Plus they all worked late on a Friday - just to make sure I was all good for the weekend. If you want top service from a wonderful team - check them out.

I started by seeing Erika the hygienist and she was amazing, was very thorough, good communication and my teeth have never been so clean. I then saw Dr Raena Tabesh who was lovely. She was very skilled, knowledgeable and help put a plan in place for the future of my oral health. Special mention to the Office Manager Anne-Maree and her staff as they were super friendly and made my booking easy and enjoyable. Highly Recommend Lucas Dental!

Fantastic experience: Who would have thought I'd describe a dental visit as fantastic? But that's exactly what my experience at Lucas Dental was. If you're someone who has ever felt nervous or anxious about going to the dentist, this place will put you at ease from the moment you step in. Imagine my experience, arriving and easily parking on-site, walking in to be greeted by Bianca’s warm, welcoming smile. Right then, I knew I was in good hands. Perfectly on time, Bianca introduced me to Jodie, the most gentle hygienist I’ve ever encountered. My teeth were left feeling cleaner than ever without a single moment of discomfort. And then, I met Dr. Tania Lucas. Her professionalism and calm demeanour matched the warmth I’d already experienced, instantly removing any lingering concerns. After a quick set of X-rays, Dr. Lucas explained my treatment plan in such a clear and confident way that I finally felt comfortable moving forward with the work I’d been putting off for too long. Here’s the part I really didn’t expect. When it came time for the bill, they told me my entire visit was covered by my Bupa health insurance! That included the clean, X-rays, and the full consultation! Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised. If you're anything like me, someone who dreads the dentist and fears pain, trust me this is the place where you'll actually feel at ease. The whole experience was smooth, stress-free, and even financially painless. Lucas Dental sets the bar for what excellent service should be.

Fantastic experience: Having been with the same dental practice for 22 years, I made the shift over to Lucas Dental on the recommendation of BUPA. Dentist Matt fixed my cracked tooth perfectly and then my next check up with Dental Hygienist Jody proved to be eye opening with issues that had never been raised by my previous dentists in 22 years. It was refreshing to hear that I have path forward to look after my teeth with a regular check up and to continue my own dental hygiene practice at home. The friendliness of all the staff was refreshing. Our whole family will move across to Lucas Dental. Thank you.

Negative experience: I recently attended an appointment with my mother and I must say I was highly disappointed in the care she received. She saw Jodie for the first time and I must say her arrogant beside manner is nothing we have experienced here before. Jodie criticised the care my mother has received in the past, which is disappointing as we have always been impressed with our care provided. I found her negative demeanour, lack of professionalism and blunt communication style not fit for an elderly patient, nor most patients in fact. As a RN myself I am familiar with infection control measures and did also struggle to look past her false nails. I did raise my concerns to the receptionist at the end of the appointment, however these were quickly dismissed. Myself and my family will be reassessing if this is the right environment for us going forward.

Fantastic experience: Lovely warm reception from staff. Everything was explained clearly so left feeling very relaxed and informed. Very professional approach and thoughtful choice of technique considering my individuality and concern for my comfort during procedure of examination and teeth cleaning.

Today I seen Jodie for a clean and she was exceptional, very thorough and amazing at giving little tips for me to help care for my teeth at home. She was personable, friendly and easy to talk to. Fantastic experience: Lucas dental as a practice, and Dr Dawson, changed the way I cope with needing extensive dental work. One of the few times I never got a lecture about my dental care and perceived lack thereof. Amazing people, great sense of humor. Dr Dawson is thorough, found issues other dentists didnt and IMHO one of the most highly skilled practitioners I have had to see. Very refreshing. No no longer as anxious to need treatment.

The team here are aware and do everything to make it a comfortable visit for me. I live the other side of town now but I will always travel to my appt as the have been, are and always will be my dentist.

Mat Dawson and I coordinated the process of getting my brother full dentures after not having been to the dentist for over 40 years. He was very anxious and quite frankly terrified about the process and Mat handled him with dignity and care and the upmost professionalism. When my brother had his new teeth fitted for the first time, he burst into tears. It truly has been a great, life changing experience for him. Thank you Mat.
