Fantastic experience: Well after years of needing to , I actually went to the dentist. I have had a phobia about them for years. I am so happy that I chose Altona pines dental because they were extremely patient and understanding. It was a lot less painful than I had imagined and they managed to extract a tooth and do a filling in the same sitting. Forever grateful.

Fantastic experience: Sukhdeep is gentle, kind, patient and understanding. And she was the first dentist I've ever seen who realised that it takes anaesthetic a lot longer to numb my nerves than most people's. I didn't need 3 or 4 shots, just needed to wait longer for the first one to take effect.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Altona Pines Dental the service is amazing as Dr explained every step of my procedure and very little pain. Even a phone call the next day to check how I'm feeling. Will be seeing her in the new year thanks again.

Negative experience: Here is my experience. I went in needing a microscopic filling, one you cant even see unless you really focus and asked how much will it cost, the dentist came out and told me between $150 to $300. Knowing how tiny it is, i was sure i will pay the absolute minimum. The procedure was sooo quick it took her less than 5 mins. When i came to pay, she said $270! I paid but vowed to share my experience. This is the best example of greed. Dentist that prentend to care where infact they only care about $$$ and cant even charge fairly you could have told me $270 from the start.. I wonder if my filling wasnt $150 then what is, a 30 second procedure!! Anyways, you are no different than most professions chasing a $ I am yet to find a dentist in Australia with a heart..

Fantastic experience: Hands down the greatest, gentlest, most painless dentist I've ever been to. Staff are friendly and know what they're doing and the dentists explain everything thoroughly. I no longer dread the dentist! Can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend this dental clinic enough. I needed a tooth out and was in a lot of pain but Dr Sandhu and Sam fitted me in. I’ve always been scared of going to the dentist because of previous bad experiences but Dr Sandhu was so calm, explained everything and made me feel at ease. This is my dental clinic now :)

Negative experience: In my opinion, they are expensive and cant recommend it unless you have insurance cover. The clinic is relatively new but the dentist and her assistant didnt stop chatting during my procedure which was so unprofessional.. I never signed up to be sent regular text msgs for a check up!! I dont recommend this place based on price and professionalism.. P.S I am using my partner's account so you dont claim to others that you never had a patient with this name and because i don't want to be harassed by you..

Fantastic experience: I have nothing but kind words and respect for Dr Sukhdeep Sandhu and her team. I am not the best patient when it comes to going to the dentist but Dr Sandhu has been nothing but pleasant and respectful to my dental issues. I have been advised of all procedures that will be carried out before she does them and then follows up with the after care. She takes the time to get to know you and understand what could be causing certain issues with your teeth. I would recommend Dr Sukhdeep Sandhu and her team to anyone who needs any type of dental work or checkup.

Not a fan of dentists at all but Dr Sandhu is an absolute professional - works hard to understand the patient’s needs, very empathetic, patient and her work is exceptional. Fantastic experience: I absolutely recommend this dental practice. Dr Sandhu was thorough with my initial consultation taking photos of my teeth and then showing me what work was required before cleaning and polishing them. All work was itemised and costed. She is caring and makes sure you understand what is required. I had 3 fillings today that were painless and her work was fabulous. A beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. Negative experience: Okay prices but unfortunately poor service. Patronising and judgmental of both body size and dental health, made assumptions that were not true, worst experience I've had with a dentist. I'm sorry but I cannot recommend and won't be going back. Okay if you have perfect teeth only. Otherwise go elsewhere. Fantastic experience: Very happy with our experience at Altona Pines Dental - I was a little nervous taking my 2 year old for a check up and didn't think he would let anyone look in his mouth! But Rashni was great and took the time to get to know him and let him feel settled before doing anything. She then explained the problem with his tooth in detail, the cause and treatment options. The clinic was modern and clean and the staff were lovely. We will be using this place now for all our dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My 10 year old needed 3 baby teeth extracted. He had a bad experience at another dental practice which could not complete the extractions. Maniz made my child feel safe, comfortable and completely reassured and the dental nurses assisted in keeping him calm and happy. The procedure was completed successfully without any tears. Thank you and keep up your amazing work. You were brilliant with my child.

Fantastic experience: Had to have a filling replaced after it had been filled two weeks earlier by another dentist who did a terrible job and weren’t very professional at all Stressed to the max I had no choice but to bite the bullet and have the tooth looked at again I was not going to go back to the previous dentist as it was giving me anxiety just thinking about it. Booked in and seen on the same day Was welcomed at front desk and immediately felt at ease I was then treated by dr sukhdeep kaur who made me feel very comfortable. Fantastic experience: We had been thinking about changing dentists for a while, and spotted Altona Pines whilst visiting one of the nearby cafes. It's not the closest to us (we're in Yarraville), but after seeing so many positive Google reviews, we decided to give it a go. We're very glad we did. The clinic itself is clean, bright, spacious and modern. All the team are incredibly friendly and professional, and you are made to feel at ease when you arrive and again once in the chair. I've been twice now - first for a general dental (I think with Raman and Faiza), then a replacement filling with Dr Sukhdeep and Faiza - and both times were fantastic. The advice for aftercare is excellent. Pricing and costs are clear and detailed from the outset, so no surprises at the end, which was refreshing - it's this transparency we've found other dental practices lack. We have definitely found our new dental practice, and would recommend to anyone in the local area.

Fantastic experience: So happy with our visit today. The dentist and her assistant are pleasant and welcoming, professional and skilful. I have disliked going to the dentist since I was a child but since visiting Altona Pines Dental I feel very relaxed…I feel I am in safe hands as well as being well informed. My 18 year old son who has Down Syndrome attended with me today. He hasn’t been to the dentist for 4 years and has severe anxiety. He attended with the idea of watching me and then we would make an appointment for next week. However he had his teeth checked and cleaned today after expressing interest and being asked if he would like a turn. I am beyond happy…he was treated with great calmness and kept informed of what was happening next. He has not allowed any other dentist to clean his teeth before and has always been uncomfortable in the chair…not today! I know this experience will create further confidence with his next visit. I recommend Altona Pines Dental highly, the dentist is soothing, informative, considered and most importantly gentle!
