Negative experience: Please think twice before choosing this clinic. Updates: The clinic sent me a letter offering a refund — but only if I signed a waiver promising to remove my review, not make complaints to regulators, and give up my right to seek further compensation. I refused, because this is not about silencing me — it’s about accountability. Their approach appears more focused on protecting their online reputation than investigating what went wrong. That raises serious concerns for other patients, as avoiding proper investigation could put public health at risk. I had a crown done here in February. There was a large gap on one side of the tooth that trapped food every time I ate — I could easily fit five pieces of floss in it. I clearly remember the dentist testing the gap during the procedure, flossing so roughly that it hurt my gum. At the end, the assistant accidentally sprayed water down my throat, and both she and the dentist laughed, not loudly though. I let it go, hoping the crown would be fine — but it wasn’t, because of the huge gap. I came back and asked to see a different dentist at that clinic. They agreed, and the new dentist removed and replaced the crown. That night, I had severe toothache and couldn’t sleep. I was told it might be because my nerve was large or high, and was prescribed antibiotics. The pain went away after two days, but I noticed floss couldn’t pass through that tooth smoothly, and it stayed sensitive to cold drinks and chewy foods like beef and lamb. I avoided using that side of my mouth for months, thinking it was just the nerve. But yesterday, I went to a different clinic for a second opinion. The dentist did an X-ray and immediately noticed rough, unpolished areas on the crown. If the outside wasn’t finished properly, it’s hard not to worry about what’s going on inside. Unfortunately, because of the material used, the only way to find out is to break the crown again, which might cause more damage to the tooth underneath and the nurve. Now I’m left with a poorly done crown, constant discomfort, and uncertainty about more issues are waiting. This experience cost me time, money, and lots of stress. If you're reading this, I hope it helps you make a better decision than I did.

Negative experience: I contacted the business directly and they took no accountability for the following due to me giving verbal consent, mid operation, under the trust of the professional knowing what was best. I am writing to express some concern and feedback regarding a decision made during a previous wisdom teeth removal from a few years ago. Which I now believe has contributed to a noticeable and ongoing issue with my jaw alignment when I speak which I was not told about to be able to give informed consent. At the time, I was informed about the presence of an extra non visible wisdom tooth behind another on the left side of my bottom left jaw. I was asked whether I wanted it removed during the end of the extraction of the other 3 (out of 5 wisdom teeth) and I stated that I would not proceed with the extraction if the dentist did not believe it was necessary. Based on that exchange, I trusted that leaving it in place would not create any functional or structural issues otherwise they wouldn’t had recommended to leave it. I did not want to have multiple procedures and healing phases for one issue. Unfortunately, I’m now experiencing visible asymmetry in my jaw and have discovered that the extra wisdom tooth is starting to discolor in the center. This has led me to question whether the full potential consequences of leaving it in were clearly communicated to me at the time. While I understand that I technically opted against the removal, I feel that I may not have been adequately informed about the long-term risks. Particularly the possibility of misalignment and structural imbalance from having more molars on one side than the other.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful, friendly, professional staff - reception, dental nurses and dentists. The dentist I see is fantastic! He makes you feel at ease, cares about you and how you're feeling (anxious etc). Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Originally made an appointment to get a broken filling looked at as they are a Medibank preferred provider. The clinic got me in same day with Dr Israel who was amazing, cleaned up the area and the fee was minimal. I ended up booking in for a checkup and clean since it’s been quite a while and she was extremely thorough and found a problem tooth that needed to be dealt with asap. The clinic managed to squeeze me in a few days later, I am not great with needles and Dr Israel made sure I was well looked after. I’m not sure if she uses a different technique to other dentists I’ve been to but it was the first time I haven’t ended up a sobbing mess from the pain and fear of the injections. She provided me a quote for the work I needed done (which was half the price of my previous dentist mind you) and I have since had all of the work completed over the past couple of months. If you are someone who struggles with the dentist I highly recommend you book in with her. She is compassionate, understanding, gentle and clearly passionate about her work. Dr Israel is an absolute gem and I look forward to my next appointment with her.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Hardi, I used to be very anxious when having to see the dentist holding a stress ball in each hand & feeling my body tense up the whole appointment, now seeing Dr Hardi for the past couple of years ( 6month check ups) I can easily get regular check ups with no anxiety (or stress balls )due to his reassuring & gentle care. Practically speaking I find his hours work around my full time, 9 to 5 job & there is a big car park so parking is not a problem.

Fantastic experience: Goodness, I was surprised to read another review of this dentist which was in my opinion quite unfair based on my own experiences which go back over the past 15 or 16 years - I can't recall exactly, but I have been to this dentist many times - not so often these days as they have pretty much sorted all my previous problems and I often get compliments about my teeth. I have found them to be very professional & knowledgeable and their pricing structure much the same as anyone else. I am also with BUPA. Well, i wrote the above 3 years ago and I'm happy to say that after another visit recently things are as good as they ever were with great service and friendly smiling considerate staff. I also noticed some new additions to equipment used. 5 stars is well deserved.

We had been quoted thousands for the removal (one wisdom tooth was actually laying sideways and considered too hard for general removal) from other dentists. But went in for our consultation and was very impressed with the service and price (much less than quoted) They worked with my son who also as ASD and was nervous. Dr Hardi was gentle, reassuring and professional. Surgery was a complete success with full recovery. After hours care was also fantastic. The experience was not what I expected, it all went very smoothly and her recovery was so much better than my other daughter who years before had it done under general anaesthetic. Fantastic experience: I went to visit dr Hardi Desai at Dentarana for the first time to have 3 Dental implants 3 days ago. It was my first time at that clinic and I was greeted with very friendly staff at the front desk. Even though it was my first appointment meeting Dr Hardi and I was riddled with anxiety he made me feel very at ease with his outgoing friendly personality explaining things and assuring me I would be fine even though I have extreme anxiety attacks at the dentist . The procedure took a couple of hours I felt no pain and very relaxed and comfortable with dr Hardi and his assistant also. I am having a great recovery it of swelling but no pain or discomfort at all and I’m so glad I was reffered to such an amazing dentist!
