Fantastic experience: ABC Dental Macquarie Centre – 5 Stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently completed my smile makeover with 8 veneers across my top front teeth at ABC Dental Macquarie Centre, starting at the end of May and finishing in early August – and I could not be happier with the results! From the very first visit, the clinic impressed me with how spotlessly clean and welcoming it was. The reception team were super friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They were always happy to answer my questions, follow up with calls, and accommodate any changes to my appointments. On one occasion, they even let me work from the waiting area and provided a phone charger when I forgot mine. Every time I came in, they’d offer me a bottle of water – such thoughtful touches! I also visited their Bondi Junction clinic during the process, and the service there was just as warm and professional. A special thank you to Dr David and his team – truly an amazing dentist and great dental nurse/assistant! They was professional, friendly, and took the time at each session to answer all my questions. They always considered my needs and concerns, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The outcome is incredible – I’m absolutely thrilled with my veneers and my new smile. Thank you to the entire ABC Dental team for making this such a positive experience. I highly recommend ABC Dental Macquarie Centre to anyone considering veneers or looking for an excellent dentist!

Negative experience: Seem like very nice people however were terribly disorganised. *Please be aware they only have one booking number and do not have different numbers for different sites* The first person to take my appointment did not confirm the appointment location, did not issue me with an appointment confirmation via email or text and got every letter of my name wrong in the new patient form even though I had spelt it out as I always do (i.e. listed my first name as aaron). Each time I spoke to someone I confirmed I was dental phobic. I had picked this dentist purely because of the dental phobia stuff noted on their website. Called the number for the Macquarie practice on their website. Was apparently booked for Bondi which thankfully the day before check call from them notified me of this so appreciate that. Moved my appointment to Macquarie. Dentist was 20ish minutes late, that's fine. But they had none of the dental phobia equipment available. They were kind enough to call around to other dentists in the area to find me a replacement appointment which I appreciate, but I don't think I will use ABC again unfortunately. If you are not dental phobic they're probably amazing. If you are, just be explicitly clear I guess.

Negative experience: Solid service but twice as expensive I found out after the buyers regret kicked in... Lesson learned, always shop around first and get at minimum 3 quotes.

From the initial consultation to the procedure, Dr. Matouk and his team were professional, supportive, and informative. The surgery was seamless, and my recovery was much smoother than I anticipated. I highly recommend Dr. Matouk to anyone in need of dental surgery—he is skilled, caring, and truly exceptional!

Negative experience: I had the most frustrating and misleading experience at this dental clinic! From the very beginning, the receptionist was not transparent at all with the payment plan. When I initially inquired, I was given no indication of any extra fees, but later, they tried to sneak in 3 additional charges – an admin fee, a finance fee, and a setup fee. To top it off, they also demanded a 20% deposit, which was NEVER mentioned up front. It feels like they’re just out to rip people off. I’m really disappointed with how they handled everything, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. It's clear they don’t care about honesty or transparency. If you're looking for a dental clinic that will be straightforward and fair, look elsewhere!

Fantastic experience: By far one of the best experiences with a healthcare professional today. We were seen within 30mins for an emergency dental issue, and were taken care of by a lovely and professional oral therapist who resolved the issue efficiently and with a smile!

Positive experience: My experience with Dr Edgar and his assistant was smooth. I had taken dental cleaning and check at the Macquarie centre. I was told the appointment would last upto 50mins on call when I initially called, luckily since I had no issues, the process was over in 20-30mins. I really liked how warm, honest, caring and kind they were during this time. I did not feel any pain after the treatment. Hygiene is something I always look for and I found that great. Only feedback is I hope, there is some concession in price next time. Overall I had a wonderful experience and recommend to anyone who’s interested to get their dental health checked.

Negative experience: Avoid this place at all cost. They’ll empty your wallet and say they’ve given you documents you’ve never got in first place.

Negative experience: Being from medical background myself, I am hugely disappointed in this place. No wonder this practice (Macquarie Centre) has many free spots daily compared to other dental practices, terrible service. I called the clinic multiple times to notify of my migraines and request to reschedule appointments. My calls were never attended and now I got charged for no show. Why the customer got charged where the clinic could not even answer the call to attend the medical need. Avoid it at all cost. I will rather just wait for another practice to have availability than coming back to this money-hunger, dysfunctional place This has happened before where it was very very difficult to call the clinic phone

Negative experience: Don't bother with this Clinic. Dentist is not interested in provide consultation. All they like is to handover bung of printed paper and say read this and we will talk on next appointment. I mean I got the appointment for the consultation and where the hack is the possible treatment being explained. Never going back to this place.

Fantastic experience: Just vow.. Helpful reception and sorts things out like she does for her own family. No stress so please go and talk to most friendly reception and doctor and know that you are in very capable hands.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to ABC dental in Macquarie. It was a great experience overall. The receptionist was nice and my dentist Angela was exceptionally kind and answered any queries I had. She explained things well and I will definitely come back. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: ABC Dental at Macquarie Center has been the only clinic that I trusted with all my dental issues. Dr. Edgar is amazing. I can see that he is very knowledgeable, experienced, skilful and highly professional. He is also very kind and always takes time to explain the process and related information to make me feel confident and relaxed knowing that I am in his good hands. Together with the state-of-the-art dental equipment, up to the minute dentistry know-how, hygienically clean and tasteful deco, it is a real pleasure and comfortable to be in such an environment. The staff, especially Emily and Ella are also very courteous, friendly and helpful. On top of everything, I really appreciate Dr. Edgar for taking care of all my dental needs for all these years and without any reservations highly recommend him.

Fantastic experience: During my first visit to ABC Dental at Macquarie Centre, Angela was so patient, knowledgeable, and with a positive attitude. She made the experience very positive for me. I had to return on Sunday and the team on that day was fantastic, caring and attentive as well (sorry I don't know their names).

Fantastic experience: Even bit terrible experience when visited the shop due to the Hicap machine was done. But the matter was resolved very quickly by a fabulous customer care team. They respond issues and remedy the problem with amazing turn around time. appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: Dani (receptionist) was patient and helpful in assisting me with sorting out my insurance payments. Rakheja (dentist) was also patient in helping me with the scans & moulds; and also providing me with various options in getting my aligners/splints!

Negative experience: I don’t recommend this place for any dental services. I’ve been there twice already once to get a mouth guard and second time to get a filling done. The mouth guard is basically useless because it’s so uncomfortable and the filling somehow managed to make my tooth worse and the pain is still lingering after 2 months and the dentists there don’t take any responsibility for it! Don’t waste your money and time there!

Positive experience: Frances was Amazing, and very informative with the work that was required for my teeth. She did root canal to two teeth, replaced silver filings with white filings and did routine clean, I highly recommend her. However, on my last routine clean of my teeth, I had Dr Edgar look after me and it was horrifying as I was profusely bleeding due to him manipulating my lower front teeth with the machine he was using. After he was done he said , "that tooth will come loose." I was confused at that time and immediately felt my teeth, it was a year later when I felt my tooth was shaking and has come loose. I certainly wouldn't recommend Dr Edgar.

Negative experience: Went here to get wisdome teeth x-rayed and assessed for removal. Was reffered to Sydney Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery who were supposed to receive my very expensive 3D scans of my jaw. The surgeon there told me the file they received was expired or wouldn't open or something and that ABC dental does this all the time, that they won't communicate with the Surgery when the Surgery requests access to the scans or files that they can't open. I don't know why it fell to me, the client who had already forked out hundreds of dollars, to travel between the two clinics and do the communicatung for them on foot. I was told to go to ABC dental to pick up a USB with my files on it that were probably the expired files anyway that couldn't be opened. I went there and asked as told by the surgeon for the USB, to be told by a receptionit at ABC I hadn't seen last time who knew nothing of the ituation that I didn't need a USB becuse the scans had 'already been sent', and I found that trying to explain the situation was completely useless as they assumed I didn't know wht I was talking about because 'I didn't need a USB' when they'd already sent the files (that the surgeon couldn't open). The blessing in disguise was that I would need to get new scans in a year anyway as I decided to delay surgery so I could get health insurance and wait out the waiting periods, and I don't think I'll use ABC or Sydney Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery again.

Negative experience: Made a booking for 9:15. Arrive early to do paperwork. Half an hour later (15min after the appointment start time) the receptionist tells me the dentist is running late and won't arrive till 10:30. Also says they're fully booked for the day and basically that theres nothing to do about it. Very unproffesional. One dentist even walked past with plates for serving food moments before her telling me this.

Fantastic experience: Had my wisom tooth removed my Dr Edgar and couldn’t be happier with the results was in and out quickly and everything was managed perfectly

Fantastic experience: Quick and painless... This office uses water cleaning that is less annoying than methods used by other dentists. They took xrays, cleaned my teeth and got me on my way. The dentist was nice and cheerful and provided useful information about teeth care.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr Winston and team. I had to see them last weekend as I had an extremely pain left molar. I had seen my local dentist and he couldn’t identify the problem. When I saw Dr Winston he identified the problem immediately and performed a tooth extraction which fixed the issue. He is courteous and polite and is gentle when working around teeth.

Negative experience: Left in tears from a check up and clean from Edgar. His only question to me was about my tattoos not my teeth. Felt like he shredded my gums and I was clearly crying the entire time. Horrific experience do not book with them.

Negative experience: The dentist that treated me is really good that’s why it’s a 2 star not 1 But the receptionist made me quite uncomfortable she was condescending and gave a vibe that she doesn’t care. Even asked me “ what did dentist say, did she say you should go to another centre?” The treatment I had was towards Christmas last year , I asked her if I could have my final treatment after the New Years so the insurance will renew, pretty common practice but she said no it has to be now or not sure when. And the charge is way more expensive than other dentist I just found out now, one year later Definitely not going back

Fantastic experience: I have now had two complex root canal treatment (including crowns) performed with doctor Edgar Matouk to a high quality. He did a great job & made me feel at ease on both occasions (my experience with him has been consistently great). Importantly there was complete transparency on pricing on both occasions from him and his team which of course I valued. I would strongly recommend doctor Edgar for such treatments. He is now a dentist of choice for both myself and my husband.

Fantastic experience: Had a wisdom tooth emergency. I had to go for 3 trips and a major surgery. Needless to say it went great, despite having complications. Dr Winston Lee is fantastic!! Highly skilled and experienced! I've been going to dentists regularly since I was 8yrs old. But Dr Winston is by far the kindest and most honest one I've been to. The entire team are very accommodating and kind! The place itself is small, but its clean, tidy, well-kept and professional. Even in COVID-19 times. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of care you get. I've already recommended this place to friends and family. Highly recommend!!

Positive experience: I was very happy with my experience - I had a "complicated" root canal and cannot fault the care and attention I received from Winston and Ella. I really appreciated their concern for my comfort and also the fact that they kept me up to date with what they were doing and why. My tooth feels so much better and I am keen to return to finish the treatment next week.

Negative experience: Same day appointment- no waiting ? What a joke!! My son had a bad toothache one night, so first thing I woke up the next morning was to get the earliest Dentist appointment near us. It was 9am that I booked for 10:45am. When we arrived, nurse told me they had an emergency patient and told me to come back later at 12:30. Already feeling frustrated walking around with a 8 year old keep telling me his tooth was so painful. I had no choice, I went home, woke my hubby up, drove me to city for work and drove back to Macquarie park for the dental appointment. At 1pm dentist Anita Chen FINALLY see my son. After x ray and check up, we were told that he needs a nerve treatment but they can't do it. Told us to book for specialist but need to wait for 2 days for ABC to give a referral!! All I felt was just angry, I could have gone somewhere else and got it done already. Wasted my whole morning, nothing was done , my son still in pain and I paid $33 after rebate for you to tell me " we can't do anything here" . The website listed there " emergency services" "children service" that's was the reason why I book ABC in the first place. Later that afternoon I just got another fully booked Dentist was kind enough to take my son at 6pm! PS: after my husband paid and left the practice, I called them and said I can't wait for 2 days for referral, I need it ASAP! Doctor said ok, give her 20 mins. THAT NEVER HAPPEN, I never received my referral.

Fantastic experience: My son had 4 wisdom teeth removed at ABC macquarie by DR Edgar Matouk My son was very nervous and was expecting to be in a lot of pain after . The extractions went really well and my son had no pain afterwards and no swelling at all . He made a full recovery in 2 days . Thanks you for making this a a pain free experience . I would highly recommend Dr matouk for wisdom teeth extractions and ABC for all dental work .

Fantastic experience: ABC Dental Macquarie Park is by far the best dental surgery that I have been to. From the moment I entered the practice I was greeted by Sheon who is super friendly, professional and helpful. I had 2 surfaces filling done by Dr Venus on Thursday and she was patient to explain the procedures involved or any queries and provided me with the tailored treatment. I have to say the filling works she performed is top notch and I could not noticed the difference for the filled teeth. Would definitely recommend ABC Macquarie Park.

Negative experience: On my 3rd visit for a root canal, the new dentist I got seemed to think I wasn’t being billed enough and wanted to charge $1.3k for the final visit (about an hours work) I didn’t really get a solid explanation other than the previous dentist wasn't billing enough and these things are expensive. I just assumed that part of paying a bit extra for good dentists included the overhead of account keeping, and creative accounting was more of a mechanic thing. Will seek a more ethical provider.

Positive experience: Friendly and polite staff. Work seems to be of good quality and using up to date practices. However, it's hard to know if staff are engaging in overservicing... I attended an appointment for a single surface filling, it seemed like he was doing more work but thought nothing if it as he had promised to smooth a sharp edge off a previous filling. Afterwards I found 2x fissure seals had been done without prior discussion and agreement. It was only on further review of the reciept later on that I realised what had happened and why the treatment had not been completely covered by health insurance as it should have been. Similarly, staff seem to be keen on regular Xrays, which is either demonstrates a thorough approach or overservicing. With Dentistry its hard to know what's important/worthwhile.

Negative experience: I visited the Macquarie Center dentist to get a general clean up since I saw lot of very good reviews regards to this place . I arrived on time for my appointment but they made me wait for 60 mins. Initially they said it will be a 15 mins delay due to a procedure with the previous patient . Finally I walked out super frustrated because all they could say was the appointment before me is taking longer than usual and I must wait . 1) extremely bad time management / planning : prioritising patients by the staff who’s running this dental practice . 2) if there is going to be such a big delay - why couldn’t they cancel my appointment in first place / or allocate me to another dentist I’m not sure . 3) what a waste of my precious time . I will never go again . Thanks for waiting my weekend

Fantastic experience: Dr Lucas dealt with my dental issues in a very professional way. He explained every step he was doing thoroughly (what he was going to do and why and what it might feel like), answered my questions patiently, and made sure my concerns were addressed. He said things like “imagine yourself melting into the chair” to help me relax when I was a bit anxious about the tooth extraction. At that moment he was like a meditation instructor and dentist rolled in one. Really great! Best dentist in Sydney I’ve met so far! Their clinic in Macquarie Centre is very clean. Love the shades they make me wear when I sit on the dental chair. Also, the first-time patient promo is good value for money. Paid only $160 for comprehensive check-up, two xrays, and cleaning! Left that clinic smiling w my sparkly whites. Strongly recommend

Negative experience: If you made an online booking and paid the booking fee, make sure they deduct that fee from your final bill. The receptionist said that she couldn't see it in her system and so we had to pay the booking fee then the full price of the service. Then we had to call them to get my money back. They are so happy to grab your money. As for the dentist/hygienist, that is another thing. It took us longer to fill in the patient form than the actual procedure. 15 minutes to do a scale and clean? and that includes the xray pictures. We had a 5.45pm appointment and so it felt like he was in a hurry to go home. **AVOID IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED**

Fantastic experience: Dr Raj was amazing. He was the first dentist I’ve ever had who took the time to explain to me what clenching my teeth causes and how a lot of dentists over treat patients with unnecessary procedures. I got my teeth treated with great skill full service and also walked out with a tiny bill. I’ll definitely be back and with my whole family too.

Positive experience: Dr. Winston Lee is a dentist that puts me at ease. This will be my regular dental practice now. No more surgeries, now that I do have the right plate/splint to prevent teeth grinding at night. I don't wear the splint every night, yet when I do need to wear it my teeth are protected - even though its a bit uncomfortable. Minus one star as the price for this splint was steep, now that I barely need it so quickly...yet I think it will save me thousands in unnecessary dental bills down the track. Dr. Winston also kept me informed of the progress on techs end via SMS. Love the filtered water at reception too. Looking forward to Winston cleaning my teeth annually. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: The service and outcome of treatment from team and DR Michael Xu Of ABC Dental, Macquarie Center was high quality , so painless to relaxation , very efficiently performed !!! Michael ‘s time , patience and explanations were Gold !! My two treatments in one day , totalling to aprox 4 hours, deep cleaning , fillings and consultation with a long term timeline to maintain the health of my teeth and gum etc. Budget and costings was taken into consideration. Thank you Michael ! My fear of dentistry is cured , and the experience was most comfortable which was far beyond my expectations. Go ABC Dentist =
