Teeth on Ferry

Negative experience: I went in for a full clean and teeth whitening. I have visited this clinic many times before and always found the service to be great, but unfortunately, this visit was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I have had my teeth cleaned at many clinics, and I do not believe a certified dentist performed my cleaning this time — it seemed like it was done by dental assistants only. My teeth were not flossed, and there was no discussion or documentation of the teeth’s condition, which is normally standard practice. During the whitening, the person applying the treatment didn’t seem confident or trained. She ignored guidance from another staff member who was trying to explain proper procedure. I was not informed that she appeared to be in training. The process was messy — water was sprayed all over my face, and a protective paper covering wasn’t placed on my chest until halfway through the procedure. Overall, the level of service was unacceptable, and I would not recommend this clinic based on this experience. Which is really unfortunate because I’ve had great experiences there as well !

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing David for years and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dental care. He’s not only incredibly skilled and professional, but he also has the rare ability to make every visit feel calm and comfortable. David is thorough, gentle, and genuinely cares about his patients’ long-term health—not just quick fixes. Whether it’s a routine clean or something more complex. He did my veneers & crowns also and i couldn't be happier

Fantastic experience: I had to have 5 teeth removed after a referal and I was very nervous as i had never seen this dentist before . I was immediately put at ease by the dentist and his assistant who i have to say was the best , with the most caring and friendly nature she was just so lovely , as was Dr Will . They both made this traumatic day so much easier than it could have been , very professional but very friendly so i felt much more at ease . I would highly recommend them the service was brilliant .

Negative experience: Thought this place was going to be really good as they make out to look that way so I went there as I needed a filling I got charged a ridiculous price had to Afterpay it and the dr completely ruined my tooth he drilled far too close to nerve and I experienced pain for ages after to the point I went to another dentist a far better one and he actually fixed it for me or tried his best and unfortunately after a check up today I know have to do root canal on that tooth. So I paid so much money to have my tooth ruined here and now I have to pay $1900 on top for root canal etc. so upsetting.

Negative experience: I originally commenced my Invisalign treatment with Teeth on Ferry and paid a total of almost $10k doing so. All went well and smoothly until my Dentist, Dr Hellman left and I noticed a major difference in how my appointments were handled, the knowledge the 2 male “dentists” who could not locate my records and were asking me questions as if I had the answers for THEIR records they could not locate and the reception staff when needing to book an appointment or advise I was stuck in traffic (another reason of relocating). I chose to transfer my treatment to another practice closer to home, more availability and to start fresh in feeling that I was back in safe hands. All went well until recently, Teeth on Ferry has somehow made a major mistake in not correctly transferring files etc and now trying to sneakily get me back to their other location the Dental Studio of which are both almost 1 hour drive from my location and not what I have agreed to. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional! I am appalled and not usually one to speak of such way especially to the public of a business. But to pay such an amount of money believing you’re in safe hands, I can confirm you are just a number.

Negative experience: I paid a fortune on veneers and so far have had 2 fall out. Other dentists have commented on how badly the lay out of my veneers are. The bottom is so crooked. So devastating and embarrassing. They are trying to charge hundreds just to re cement the fallen out veneer back in.

Fantastic experience: 10/10 my sensitive teeth already feel so amazing after day one! so far upto the process of temporary teeth so already so impressed very excited to get my permanent teeth on ✨

Negative experience: Paid $8000 for invisaline bottom teeth are worse then when I left, reached out to them and the best answer I got was because you signed off on them we can’t help you. Disgusting don’t use this clinic go to mermaid clinic

The aesthetic, the energy and the complimentary refreshments all paved the way for a five star experience from start to finish. Dan and Harmony made the impending stress and anxiety filled visit calming, relaxing and safe. The gentle nature in which they treated my pain coupled with the holistic approach to other matters completely blew me away. I felt at ease, respected and I judged as I shared by concerns and treatment requirements with them. By far the best dental Experience I’ve ever had. Negative experience: Would not recommend. I had Invisalign a few years ago from Teeth on Ferry and my brace wire has snapped off 3 times within 3 years. One of the times the glue had actually fallen off with the wire.... They also had told me I had 7 holes to fill, which was completely incorrect. I saw my local dentist after they told me this information and my local dentist said I only had 2 holes in my teeth!! Extremely disappointed in this company...

Dr.Will was outstanding to deal with throughout the whole process making my boy feel at ease every visit. Negative experience: Not valued at all spent over 35k on teeth after service is well below standard different dentists everytime I go back had a crown come off was told to make an appointment to fix it not concerned at all about a person having a missing tooth for a week so disappointing to be honest so many options on the Gold Coast I just wish I didn't rush into it and found a more caring surgery instead of the money counters here

Fantastic experience: Recently I was lucky enough to have an appointment with Dr. Matthew, who resolved my gum complaint within the space of a forty-five minute appointment. All of the investigations he performed were done swiftly, and after some careful intervention, I left the practice pain-free. I really appreciated Matthew’s calm and soft manner, and the time he took to explain his assessment of my gum and how he would resolve it. I’m not used to Doctor’s being so kind and gentle. The reception staff were also great to deal with, and the practice itself is very clean and modern.

Fantastic experience: Ive had really bad experiences with dentists in the past that have left me with high anxiety to go. But Dr Matthew is a legend and has now put me at ease with going to a dentist. His manner and care towards me to keep calm was outstanding and I HIGHLY recommend him. Negative experience: My stepson came here based off of the reviews and it seems they only care to do a good job if you have an online following of some sort. I do not recommend. We have been back countless times to fix one issue with his Invisalign that they continue to fail at completing - we don’t have time anymore and have since made an appointment elsewhere. This place only has a good name based on the location and the social media marketing. Don’t waste your time.

Fantastic experience: I've always been a bit self conscious about how yellow my teeth were. I came in and was greeted with the warmest welcome by the front desk and Dr Eric. I had a brief chat to Dr Eric about my options and decided to go ahead with the in-chair ZOOM Whitening and boy was I blown away!! Dr Eric, quickly shuffled things around because I had an important meeting coming up that weekend and fit me in asap. I left in awe of my new pearly white teeth! I couldn't stop smiling and I definitely felt more confident than ever delivering my speech at the meeting. Dr Eric I can't thank you enough, you are the kindest dentist I have ever had :)

I was assigned Dr Jen Nguyen, she is absolutely amazing! She made me feel very comfortable and very relaxed through out the whole process. Fantastic experience: I was searching for a dentist who could work some magic on my smile and after getting a few recommendations I booked in a consult with the lovely Dr Cara. I was a bit nervous heading in for my first appointment, but it didnt take long to feel comfortable and confident that i was in great hands. The amount of care, attention to detail and the skill she showed at every appointment surpassed my expectations by a long shot. At the consult she went above and beyond to help me vision the different options I had with reinventing my smile and eliminating my insecurities. In the end, the procedures she recommended were far more conservative and cost effective than what I had anticipated as well – bonus! What stood out to me the most is that Dr Cara never had a “close enough” approach and It's easy to see she takes a lot of pride in her work. She made multiple adjuments until my new teeth were the best they could be, and I couldn't be happier with what shes done. The clinic is beautiful and clean, my appointments were always on time and all the reception staff & dental assistants were also amazing and very welcoming. My results are beautiful, and my new smile has already made a huge impact to my life. Biiiiig thanks to Dr Cara and the Teeth on Ferry crew!
