Fantastic experience: I was always of the belief that visiting a doctor wouldn’t necessarily hurt whereas visiting a dentist will always hurt. That was until I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Kim at Hills Dental Care. I needed two crowns on two molars and felt absolutely no pain or discomfort; this was all carried out in one visit. Dr Kim’s is an amazing dentist with a very friendly persona, explaining the procedure every step of the way. I will not hesitate to visit him again.

I have been truly embarrassed about my smile all of my life including the past damage done to my jawline & profile by an Orthodontist in my teenage years. Fantastic experience: Writing this feedback to share my experience with Hills Dental Care (Castle Hill) in the last more than 2 years. I have get a full mouth implantation and the operations were carried out by Dr Kim in April 2021. This treatment has completely fixed my long-term excruciating strife with my bad teeth, which was caused by constant swollen gum and periodic bleeding due to periodontal disease. I would say that ever since my life has been changed completely to the better. So far, 2 years has passed by after the implantation with every six months' dental cleanings and checkups afterwards, I have zero issues and feel like being reborn with a new set of natural teeth. Looking back, I am immensely impressed with the outcome of the treatment, particularly, Dr Kim's cutting-edge skill of implantation and in-depth professional advice. The great appreciation also goes to Tara, Genevieve, serval involved dental nurses and other office staff for their skill, professionlism and amicablity I have received during the service. Besides expressing my big thanks, I sincerely hope that the businese would keep prosperous and more people having issues with their teeth could get the top-notch treatment from Hills Dental Care.

Fantastic experience: I attended Hills dental care due to my front tooth ache. I initially attend a different dentist who advised me that I was have aches due to teeth grinding while I was asleep. I was recommended a mouth guard. I wanted a second opinion so I visited Hills dental care. Firstly I was very impressed with the atmosphere of the dental practice. Everybody was friendly/welcoming. I have met Dr James Kim, principle dentist of the clinic. he carefully reviewed my whole mouth and he identified pus/inflamation in my gum. Apparently inflamtion was the main cause of the ache. The whole treatment took almost 1 month with Dr Kim. I have never had issues afterwards and the whole team always delivered what they promised. I was very fortunate to have met a dentist who took proper care with their patients. I cant not imagine what consequences I would dealt with if i took the first dentist's recommendation. Fantastic experience: I dread going to the dentist, but when I called Hills Dental Care for an emergency appointment, the were able to fit me in on the same day. I was extremely anxious about my appt but from the moment I walked in, all the staff were so lovely and welcoming. They explained everything clearly and ensured I was comfortable every step of the the way. I can confidently say that Dr Michael and the team at Hills Dental have put my mind at ease for any dental work I may need in the future and will be my first point of contact! Negative experience: I visited the clinic for the first time and this review is intended to give newcomers an overview of my experience and a little advice to consider. I made an appointment as I was experiencing a tooth ache in my back molar. My current dentist is semi-retired and fully booked and I decided to bite the bullet and see a new dentist. I chose this practice because I saw 146 “5 star” reviews. Upon arrival I was greeted by two very enthusiastic and spritely receptionists who informed me that I would have x-rays first and then see the dentist. I was then advised to go into the dentist who put me in the chair and examined my whole mouth with a camera taking pictures of all my teeth. He informed me that I have a crack in my tooth, followed by information as to the status of all of my teeth. I was advised I would need numerous corrections, and was shown several images of “other” peoples teeth in severe condition and advised this is what would be the result if not corrected. Feeling overwhelmed I asked for a treatment plan and was then taken by the receptionist to another room and had a treatment plan to the cost of $12500 given to me to fully correct my teeth. The “urgent” repairs needed to be done ASAP involved 4 crowns one of which was for the tooth with the crack - $8000. When I asked the receptionist about just getting the problem tooth fixed she advised this was not a good idea and that it would cost $2000 extra next year as well as risking my front teeth being damaged. She asked if I needed financial aid to pay for the cost and that I was lucky as another patient had a $20000 bill last week. I advised I would need to go away and consider this and when she asked what day I was available to see him she proceeded to tell me that he was filling up quickly on that day. What I did not appreciate about this service was the following: Minimal consultation with the patient and no request for dental history Feeling of being moved along a production line Psychological Scare tactics and sales approach – showing pictures of people with no teeth and being told this is what could happen My advice – get a second opinion so you can make a more informed choice. I visited another dentist who kindly confirmed the crack in my tooth, gave me a temporary filling until he can see me in two days when he will assess the extent of the crack and if needed and only if needed will do a crown. I am very open to spending whatever it takes to maintain my health but this did not sit right with me personally and I hope this review assists others when considering their options.

Fantastic experience: I'm so grateful for the quality care I have experienced from Hills Dental Care over the last 8 years. Dr To recently replaced two old fillings for me, and the feel and stability of the replacement fillings is amazing. It feels like I don't have fillings there at all! And they look so much nicer! All the staff at Hills Dental Care have always been (and are) wonderful, lovely people, from the dentists, hygienists, and nurses to the admin ladies. I'm so thankful to be free of pain. They made sure I was comfortable and did their utmost best to make sure I was pain free. The staff here makes you feel like family and display genuine care, I have never experienced this kind of fantastic service else where. Fantastic experience: I have been bringing my aged parents to this dentist for the last two years. The staff here are friendly and wonderful, both the dentist and the administrative staff. They have a chair in their treatment rooms that allows a carer to sit in during the treatment and assist in translating as well as ensuring that follow up recommendations are remembered. There is really easy parking at the front of the building that seems always to have spaces. The dentist is friendly and professional and is happy to give suggestions and quotes on work that might need to be carried out. I would recommend this dental practice unreservedly.

Fantastic experience: After years of having quite troublesome teeth, combined with with a number of extractions, a family friend recommended that I contact Hills Dental, (best advice ever!) She had endless glowing praise not only for the multiple implants that she had received, but for the entire procedure. On arriving, I found the dental clinic to be very impressive indeed, the WOW factor permeates the entire premises, i found it to be extremely modern, immaculately clean, while the staff displayed an old world friendliness, courtesy and customer service. The inner clinic is fitted out with super modern, state of the art, space age dentistry technology and equipment, delivering perfect replications and pain free results. After a thorough review by Kim, he established that due to my heavy bite, the majority of my teeth were cracked, this problem was only visible due to the modern equipment and methods available at Hills dental Care. Additionally he identified several teeth with internal decay, plus an abscess on my lower jaw. After several consultations with Dr Kim, I left my last appointment this week, with an amazing, whiter, brighter, straighter, and stronger teeth which function incredibly well and look better than at any time, ever. It's a pleasure to brush my teeth and I must admit that each time I do, I quietly admire the final result. I do receive compliments such as, "what have you done to your teeth, they look awesome" These compliments rightfully belong to Dr Kim, his dental artistry and his wonderful staff. Over several sessions, I had 19 crowns and 2 implants, totally pain free!!!! What a great result, and to think it was only a phone call away, you deserve every success. Fantastic experience: Dr James Kim was completely professional and made my husband feel assured to proceed with major dental work, with confidence. Because he has the machinery on site, he has the ability to prepare the teeth, take molds and create ceramic crowns for ten teeth in the one haf day appointment. This makes him the dentist of choice for my husband, who required the additional support of a sedationist. Everything was completed on site in a most profissional way and we would gladly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: My husband had an minor emergency and we really needed the attention of a dentist for a painful tooth and Genevieve was absolutely amazing squeezing him in. She is very knowledgeable as practice manager when we called her to discuss the issue. Dr. Rigo and Jaelle ( Clinical Coodinator) were both amazing. She was patient and explained everything and was very gentle with the procedure. As we arrived I instantly loved the energy of the practice and Genevieve. I asked Genevieve to book me in for a future date but Genevieve worked her magic and squeezed me in the same day. Once Covid Restrictions ease we will be back for cleaning!!! Fantastic experience: HILLS DENTAL CARE is by far THE BEST DENTIST in the Hills area. I cannot recommend them enough. I had a cracked tooth that had become very painful on biting. It was torture. Went to Hills Dental Care and they not only fixed my tooth with a brand new crown but also did it all start to finish within 2 hours which was including a nice relaxing break I had in between. It was amazing!!! The whole team is extremely friendly and warm and the place looks and feels like a 5 star hotel. Exceptional service!!!

I then met Melissa (dental clinician) and Dr Michael To - a marvellous team that worked almost telepathically with instruments being ready before being requested. A symbiotic and harmonious team. During my treatment I also needed attention from Tara, the dental hygienist - another positive experience that I can also recommend. The experience ended leaving me with confidence to return if necessary and without fear. I highly recommend and thank Dr Michael To, Melissa, Genevieve and Tara for such a positive experience. As I said when leaving - thank you for treating me like a 2 year old because that is how I behave when going to the dentist. Once again thank you very much for your professionalism and kindness. Fantastic experience: Making a day of it at Hills Dental Care. Doctor Kim prepared and fitted 6 crowns using CAD (computer-aided design). Typically, two dental visits are needed to prepare a tooth for a crown. I spent two 70-minute sessions with a big break in-between. It’s called „same day crown placement procedure”. During the first 70-minute session, Doctor Kim prepared the teeth to be crowned. A scanning wand was then used to take pictures of the teeth. During my break (sipping on a banana smoothie at Castle Hill Mall), those images were uploaded into computer software to create a 3D model of the teeth. The digital model was used to create the porcelain crowns. The 6 crowns were fitted during the second 70-minute session. One day later;- adjusting to the bite. Two days later:- the crowns have perfectly adjusted. Praising Doctor Kim and staff for their amazing non-fuss and pain-free dental experience. Thank YOU!

Fantastic experience: Wow wow wow what a place. The team here are awesome!! From Genevieve the office manager to Dr Kim who is an absolute legend. Impeccable "bedside manners" and nothing but the best for his patients. I left another dentist midway through a route canal as I was in so much pain during the procedure. I went to Dr Kim and he completed the procedure with zero discomfort or pain. I also had a number of other things done and everytime I've had a procedure it has been impeccable. I also see Tara the Dental Hygienist , what a stunning young sole, always so happy and up for a good chat. Oh and she gives your teeth good clean too . Highly recommended The team at The Hills dental care you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I went to Hills Dental care for complimentary orthodontic exams treatment for adults. Their service was excellent. All staff there were very friendly and polite. Dr Jessica Li, orthodontist ,was very kind and fantastic. She took time to explain and answer my questions well. I felt so confident to be getting my teeth fixed with her. Genevieve the receptionist there was very helpful and friendly. The cost is affordable. I recommend this dental clinic and looking forward to my first appointment.
