Fantastic experience: My dentist gave me an excellent explanation of my teeth and bite. His knowledge is incredible. Then with my permission he added perfectly matched composite to worn areas. I have 3 severely cracked teeth which we have scheduled for crowns in November when I have more time. I have been coming here for 15 years and have always had amazing work done, and never any pain. In short I can honestly recommend coming to this practice.

We had a great experience from the reception, who had lovely staff welcoming the patients with a beautiful smile, to the very experienced dentist, Dr. Nonu Kohli who took well care of my kids. I would recommend this practice to anyone as they care for you as their own.

Negative experience: I have been to this dentist multiple times and despite their prices being on the more expensive side I was quite happy with them. Unfortunately 2 months ago Dr Nonu was performing a routine filling and the anasthesia injection she administered damaged a nerve in my face. Despite being in pain and telling her something was wrong for a few days she said it was impossible that my nerve had been injured. After another week of intense headaches and issues she finally conceded that she might have injured me, I saw a specialist she referred me to who assured me the issue would completely subside. Unfortunately this has not been the case and I still get issues with pressure and headaches on the side of my face that was affected. What has been the most disappointing thing is the lack of care and follow up from the staff at the practice, they seem completely apathetic despite the fact they have injured me and it has affected me. I would encourage people to find another dentist, as if something goes wrong at this practice you will not be taken care of.

She was very informative and careful around my sensitive areas. The receptionist and dental assistant were also really lovely! Overall a great dental experience.

He explained everything in a way that even I could understand. The next day, I got a follow-up call from the clinic checking in on me. I was impressed. I highly recommend him to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I have recently moved to Balaclava Dental Care after the retirement of my dentist of many years. Unfortunately my care in recent years has been a bit slack. This has necessitated a lot of remedial work to bring my dental care back to a satisfactory standard. Dr Samantha Lau at Balaclava is systematically working to rectify past neglect. Without a doubt, Samantha is the best and most caring dentist I have ever experienced. As part of my treatment, I will require a dental implant to replace a severely compromised tooth which broke recently and required emergency treatment. Dr Alex stepped in and assisted with dealing with this problem with little notice. I am not the sort of person to normally write reviews, but I felt compelled after receiving such great treatment from Samantha and Alex.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient for over a year now. Friendly and helpful receptionists greet you each time. Dr Audrey Seng is a wonderful dentist, she explains everything you need to know, checks in on you during any procedures to make sure you are ok or if you need a quick break and does excellent work, so to does her assistant. The cost of the services are very reasonable and not as expensive as other dentists I’ve used.
