Positive experience: My appointment was with Sarah Beach mainly for the Orofacial Myofunctional side of the practice. Firstly I had never heard of this therapy and consequently many thoughts rolled around in my head. The legenth of the consultation was unexpected, however, absolutely not a problem and one of the best 2 hours spent in my life recently. Sarah was exceptional at explaining things and I was in awe of her enthusiasm, knowledge, dedication and vivacious personality. I actually felt like I was visiting a friend. Fantastic experience: Such a professional, nice, and welcoming dental studio. I was a emergency fit it in due to my wisdom teeth causing alot of pain . Planning to see Amitis in the future for veneers I automatically rang them when I had this . Leah , the receptionist was so sweet and helpful and arranged for me to be seen almost right away . Fantastic experience: Yesterday I had my four wisdom teeth removed. Despite the recommendation of only two, the procedure was very calm and quick, lasting only 1 hour. The beginning was a little tense, but Dr. Hamed and his great assistant Mary were very kind throughout the procedure, explaining everything and being patient. Negative experience: I went in for a dental implant consultation based on the advertised pricing, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Despite both the ad and text message stating a specific offer, the dentist claimed the only special available was implants for $3,500. Additionally, the dentist pushed for a denture solution, which I had concerns about, as it would require grinding down two healthy teeth—something I had been previously advised against. I made it clear this wasn’t the route I wanted to take, yet it still felt like it was being pushed on me. I also requested a full quote for all necessary work but have yet to receive it. While I understand that others have had positive experiences, I was put off by the misleading information, the push for a treatment I didn’t want, and the lack of follow-through.

After carefully reviewing your treatment plan, we felt it was important to inform you of the potential risks associated with proceeding with an implant. This is primarily due to the minimal bone structure and the considerable gap width currently present in the upper left canine region. Following a detailed clinical assessment, including a CBCT (3D scan), we observed that the area shows significant bone loss. While you mentioned a bone graft was done 18 months ago in preparation for the implant, we unfortunately did not have access to any clinical records or imaging to confirm the stability or success of that graft.
From a prosthetic point of view, we also noted that the width of the missing teeth on the left side is significantly wider than the right, which would affect the symmetry of the final outcome. Based on our findings, it appeared there may still not be enough bone to support a secure and long-lasting implant, and proceeding under these circumstances could lead to complications—both functional and aesthetic—in the future. We always aim to avoid such risks wherever possible.
We understand how important this treatment is to you and how disappointing it must have been to hear that our recommendation differed from what you had hoped. Please know that our suggestion of a bridge was made purely from a clinical and long-term stability perspective. It may not have aligned with your original expectations, but it was offered as a safer alternative after a thorough assessment of your individual case.
You were presented with all the findings and options, and you were encouraged to seek a second opinion should you wish to explore the implant pathway further. We want to assure you that our advice was grounded solely in clinical judgement, with your long-term oral health as our highest priority.
Regarding the pricing, we also apologise for the confusion caused by our booking team. We take full responsibility for this oversight and are happy to honour the pricing that was originally presented to you. However, before proceeding, it remains important to fully discuss and understand the long-term clinical risks related to your bone condition.
We remain committed to treating every patient with transparency, respect, and the same care we would offer a family member. Positive experience: I'm so happy with my treatment I received at Amitis Dental Studio. My teeth we're in a terrible state and I couldn't smile any more. I discussed the options with Dr Hamed and went for top teeth Dentures. It has taken 4 weeks for me to be able to comfortably wear my denture and it fits perfectly. The pain relief prescribed helped.I tried different denture adhesives until I found the one for me, and in the future I plan to get bottom teeth done too. I'm giving my top teeth time to adjust first. I would have given five stars except they don't offer relaxing gas. I tend to tense up in the dentist chair.

I have wanted my front 8 teeth fixed since I was a teenager, I’ve had fillings on them so many times and they always fall off or stain, they always looked terrible, I have had so many consults were I was quoted 15-20 thousand just for 8 teeth! So I gave up, then i seen a promotion at Amitis and it was 8 teeth for 8,000 and I did my research and all the before and after were amazing, and it is the best material used as all the other places I received quotes! so I did not hesitate at all, I went with humm so the repayments were like $100 a fortnight and I got my teeth done straight away, and I was instantly in love, I chose a natural shape in the shade BL2 and I am so I love I have had them for nearly 6 months and I am still obsessed! Positive experience: I'm a regular patient, excellent service from all staff at the clinic. I would prefer if the scaling is slowed down a bit to make it a bit less painful, then the experience would be perfect. The next patient was told to come back at 10am, but my 9:30am scale and clean appointment was completed at 9:45am, so why the rush?

Negative experience: I've noticed that my negative review seems to be missing. I visited your establishment last year and my tax invoice number is INV-1546. Unfortunately, during my visit, I found the machine was not sanitized and emitted a popcorn odor it was awful and the taste was disgusting. Before I discovered them I was always very unhappy with my missing teeth and always avoided talking to people sometimes even my own relatives due to the embarassment I felt when they looked at me cos they don't look me in the eyes they look at my teeth. That's why I was so happy when masks were mandatory during covid so I could hide my teeth. When they took away the masks that's when I decided I needed to do something for myself to be able to feel and be alive cos I was sick of hiding. That's when I discovered Amistis Dental Studio on Facebook. From day one Dr Hamid and his wonderful team took my hand and guided through the whole process from applying for finance that I needed right through to the end when I was finally able to eat, talk and especially smile with my beautiful new teeth. I have to admit I was very worried and scared before I started this journey but Dr Hamid was so caring, kind and encouraging throughout the whole process even calling to check up on me after my implants were put in that I never once felt scared or worried.
