Negative experience: Traumatic experience. I had been coming here for years, only ever had one filling which was by this clinic. I returned in incredible pain some years later to a dentist telling me this filling was probably too deep and it was a matter of time before I’d be in intense pain and needed a root canal. No worries, annoying, but ok. I present for the root canal, that I was advised would cost $15-1600. All good. First attempt the dentist Jason was over 20 minutes late to clinic before getting me in. Told me he couldn’t proceed with the full procedure because I needed to get an additional scan. Ok, no problem. I got the scan and returned it to the clinic on the same day. I had the rest of the procedure booked in for 2 weeks time. 2 weeks rolls around and the dentist, Jason again, went for about 20 minutes before telling me he couldn’t proceed without an extra scan so he would need to close my tooth up and send me on my way. For the exact scan he referred me to get 2 weeks prior. I told him this and then sat drooling with a dental dam in my face uncomfortably for over 25 minutes while he and the clinic scrambled to find this scan. I finished having the root canal having a panic attack. No remorse, no apology, he had to call his wife to get her to allow him access to the scan. His wife is not my dentist, this is a breach of patient confidentiality. I then got a phone call from the practice manager who completely disregarded me and sat there defending the dentist black and blue. This procedure cost me $2300 and counting as he told me he is not convinced the root canal is going to remain unproblematic. I am very pro-dentists, but am very anti-disrespect. I can’t wait to have my post procedural x-days that we couldn’t complete due to apparently my fault for gagging (but perhaps the force that the x ray plate was being pushed into the base of my mouth was quite harsh).. I am a health care professional. I have never experienced something so poor. I have never been made to feel so small by somebody responding to a complaint either. I am disgusted.

Negative experience: My visits to this dental practice were marked by unsatisfactory experiences, starting with inconvenient, last-minute appointment rescheduling. The reception staff’s approach was notably unwelcoming. One receptionist, whom I had spoken to over the phone, seemed disinterested and struggled with clear communication. As a visually impaired person, I found this particularly challenging. Tasks like handling forms and guiding me to payment machines were poorly managed and the receptionist not interested in helping out properly. The dental work itself was adequate, though I needed a return visit for a repair. The receptionist consistently demonstrated difficulty in assisting with basic tasks and seemed overwhelmed by simple interactions, such as processing payments. Additionally, the high prices at the practice added to the overall stress. It’s concerning when a healthcare facility, especially one as essential as a dental practice, lacks in accommodating and respectful patient care, especially for those with disabilities.

They have been very good with my kids and especially the little ones as first dental visits, abd now subsequent visits. They have also been extremely accommodating in terms of billing and fitting in emergency appointments. I can highly recommend all of their specialists and their reception staff.

Negative experience: STAY CLEAR!!! I had a very similar experience Ben , last year I went in for a routine clean and check up . Was told I needed 4 fillings by Dr. Renita I was surprised I needed that many if any . This was my first time to this clinic as I was new to the area . Previous to that I visited a clinic every 6months for a clean and check and never had any issue . I placed my trust in Dr Renita and over the course of two weeks got the fillings done , the final appointment was horrendous . So much so that when I went to get up from the chair I felt faint and fell forward into the wall resulting in me having to lie down for a further 45 mins until I felt good enough to go home . A day later I had excruciating pain in the right hand side of my mouth . Went back to Dr. Renita . She said I needed another filling , another $200 . Following day , still no improvement. I phoned reception to see if I could make an appointment with Dr. Hilton as I had my fill of Dr. Renita at this stage. He informed me I had a cracked tooth which was now infected right next to where Dr Renita had put in a filling ( the day I felt faint ) which explains a lot . He treated the tooth with antibiotics and said I needed root canal treatment on the tooth which was going to cost in the region of $1500. My appointment that day was free of charge which to me suggests Dr. Hilton knew Dr. Renita had made a big error here . Whilst waiting for my next appointment I phoned the receptionist to tell her of my dissatisfaction and disappointment of the whole ordeal and that it seemed to me Dr Renita was carrying out work which didn’t need doing ($$$$ ) . She told me that she didn’t think Dr Renita was like this but that they had a dentist previous who did take peoples money for procedures that didn’t need doing .I couldn’t believe it when she told me this . She said that they weren’t going to cover any of the unnecessary costs I had incurred . Which was now around $2500. I went back to Dr . Hilton to get my root canal done the following week as there was no point in going elsewhere at this point . What was supposed to be a routine clean and check up , resulted in a painful , money grabbing experience over the course of a month . WORST DENTAL PRACTICE!! I have ever been to .

Negative experience: Can some one tell me to how to complain a dentist? I had a bad experience in this Dental Clinic. I had my teeth check at 14/12/2022 and i was told to need to fill some holes. I went to fill three holes at 30/12/2022. But one tooth felt pain after a few days. I went back to check 12/01/2023 and i was told one tooth have been infected and need canal treatment. It will take $1600. That was the tooth which was filled. The Doctor is Dr Renita. She didn't tell me anything when she do the filling. And when i felt pain and came back, she couldn't help me to fix the pain. I need to make another appointment. And She charge me $75 just for telling me the tooth have been infected and need canal treatment. Not even said sorry. Now i have visited another dental clinic to do the canal treatment. I don't think Mountain Get Dental clinic do a good job for me. I will find a right way to complain this.
