Fantastic experience: This could be the best dental clinic I’ve ever been to.It was an unforgettable experience, which has not always been the case for me, usually I prefer to forget what happens in the dentist office. I’ve been meaning to visit this clinic for a while but didn’t get the chance to go. The decor of the clinic, along with the name and the website appealed to me. I finally found the time to pay a visit and I was blown away by the quality of their service. The doctor was gentle, caring and understanding, it was a team effort from both the doctor and the assistant to make it a smooth, pleasant experience. They were all quite professional and right to the point which is something I really liked and appreciated. Their services are reasonably priced and affordable which is rare and uncommon. Negative experience: When kids go to the dentist, they expect to get at least a sticker, but they receive anything. Every time my children visited the dentist since they were three years old, they always received a pencil, eraser, pencil sharpener, toothpaste, toothbrush and a small car from the dentist, and the two times we went there, it was so strange for them. And this was the last time I visited here.

Negative experience: I was here for teeth whitening, and before the teeth whitening, I called to ask if I can provide my private health provider number and see how much I can claim. The receptionist told me they can’t check it for me, and I can only found out after the treatment. I ended up paying the whole $700 out of my pocket, sad.

Fantastic experience: I've been to this practice many times in the last few years, not only for regular cleans, but also for several emergency repairs. They are very professional and have always provided exceptional service. I was initially introduced to them for emergency repairs on a weekend where my then regular dentist couldn't see me for a week. Needless to say I have stayed with Rainbow as their service is superior. No issues with the service or the costs and the team are friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Negative experience: Horrible horrible nightmare I can’t believe this place is in practice. I booked an emergency appointment on Monday 23/01/2023 because my rear molar was giving me grief due to an old filling, any my regular dentist was on leave, and her practice was fully booked, to I bite the bullet and made the appointment with dr manpreet kaur. Let me just say from the beginning I should’ve ran out of that place but due to the pain I was wanting help. Worst mistake I ever made, first of all she had her daughter running all over the practice no shoes touching everything, the dentist was alone with one receptionist and one offsider, the offsider had to take the little toddler out of the room cause when I was on the chair the little girl kept pushing buttons and making the chair go up and down, playing with surgical equipment and the rest. So the dentist dr manpreet kaur told her offside to take her to the other room and close the door. And here is where it gets interesting that was the least of my concerns so far with how unprofessional that practice was. So I tell her what’s happening she does a little x ray and says it’s a big filling and might need a replacement and if nothing changes you could need a root canal so we do a replacement of the filling and omg when she started removing the old filling and cleaning the decay that was current I was basically feeling everything even though she gave me an injection for numbing I told her and she was like that’s normal and kept going, so I let her finish almost in tears from pain to only feel my pain is getting worse and the job she done was honestly something I could’ve done with putty from Bunnings. So I told her my pain was worse and my mouth and bite was off and the material she used felt like 300 grit sand paper rubbing my tongue. She offered to do it again which by that time i declined she kept looking at me as if she didn’t know what to do, when i questioned her about this and asked who is the principal dentist she said that the principal dentist was on holiday and then i questioned her about if she was a practicing dentist or if she was qualified she shrugged ‍♀️ her shoulders and then I just lost it and walked out and went to emergency from my pain. Just a heads up the amount this simple filling is gonna cost me close to $5k to repair since it never needed a large filling as was suggested now I’ll have to either root canal and crown or implant a tooth. Long behold though I’ve contacted my legal team wan and I’ll be pursuing legal action and damages.

Fantastic experience: I had terrible pain in my tooth from the night before. Called up Rainbow Dental, they were able to fit me in straight away. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. She even called me and gave me the courtesy of advising the dentist was running 15 minutes late. I was able to see Dr Arora almost immediately. I’m not the greatest dental patient, but she listened to my needs, no judgement and proceeded to do an efficient pain free job on the aching tooth in question. Thereafter, I was advised of options for further treatment that would be needed and was provided with referrals to specialists. I appreciated the dentist’s kindness and honesty, and all staff in the practice were very friendly to talk to. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a late afternoon dental emergency, experiencing severe pain. The wonderful assistant, Julia, was extremely helpful and understanding, organising a last minute appointment. Her customer service skills and communication are extraordinary, you can tell she genuinely cares about the well-being of patients. Dr Sunkara was also amazing. She clearly explained my options and was able to provide excellent treatment and follow-up advice. Dr Sunkara is a very gentle and skillful dentist. I highly recommend her and the entire team at Rainbow Dental.

Positive experience: I have been going there for years. At first it was great and couldn't fault it. However the last couple of years I have unfortunately had consistent problems with the new reception - rebooking my appointments at last minute, no reminders, and a general single-minded/arrogant, impatient, and uncaring attitude. (Plus I have been concerned at my last appointment they still had a COVID thermometer check even though WHO and Dept of Health have told everyone it was ineffective and to stop doing that over 3-4 months ago. Also below I'm not sure how professional it is letting staff review their own place of business is, I'm very very sorry.) I originally went to Rainbow Dental to treat an acute dental issue and unfortunately it has become obvious to me that I won't receive the high standard of care I require from Rainbow Dental, I'm sorry.

Negative experience: My first visit with Dr. Shalini Sunkara was great. She was detailed, thorough and patient during my appointment and I was very pleased. However, yesterday I went in to check on my wisdom tooth which was causing a lot of pain (not too sure which Dr. this was) and was told it was just gum pain from the emerging tooth which needed to be kept clean, but no infection or need to take out the tooth. For peace of mind I visited another dentist and I was put in antibiotics immediately as the gum around my wisdom tooth was infected and was told they would need to be removed as they were trapped beneath the gum after the infection was controlled.

From the lovely receptionist, Bhairavi, to Dr Shalini and her assistant, Viktoriya - all three were fantastic people to have encountered. I chose to visit this practice based on the 5 star reviews and I was not disappointed. Dr Shalini was kind and patient and their facilities were great. My situation was complex and I was then referred to a specialist with equally high reviews. My x-rays were emailed to me shortly after. I then encouraged my elderly mother to come in to see them too and she was able to be seen that same day. I found out my mother hadn’t seen a dentist in over 30 years due to past trauma with previous dental visits and she was extremely anxious. Dr Shalini was so kind and patient and explained all the options and procedures very carefully to my mum. My mum was thinking of getting dentures but had just been too scared to see anyone. After all of Dr. Shalini’s patient explanations, my mum decided to get her teeth cleaned that day and they look so great! She told me afterwards that Dr Shalini was soooo gentle with everything she was doing and now my mum has the confidence to go ahead with the dentures and plans on returning here for regular cleans and other visits.
