Fantastic experience: My family have been going to Point Cook Dental for 5-6 years now. We have seen a few different dentists (Jobeline, Christina, Sharon) for various treatments and checkups, and they are all professional and very very friendly. Jobeline is fantastic with my young kids, making it much easier for me take them to the dentist - she's very warm, friendly, caring with the kids. Also, bonus star to the admin/reception team! Always friendly and very helpful. On more than one occasion, they have taken the trouble to call me way ahead of time just to let me know my appointment needs to be moved 5-15mins later. Very very considerate of them instead of letting me wait. Never experienced this at any other places!

Negative experience: Beware of Billing Issues with Front Desk Staff, her name is Ashley!!! My recent visit to point cook dental group for a dental filling was marred by unprofessional conduct at checkout. The front desk associate Ashley insisted on immediate payment, rushing me through the transaction without allowing proper time to review the itemized bill. Upon later examination, I discovered a AU$30 overcharge. When I attempted to resolve this discrepancy, Ashley refused to acknowledge the error or issue a refund, displaying apathetic customer service that completely disregarded my concerns. While the dental work itself was adequate, I strongly advise future patients to: 1. Demand detailed billing breakdowns BEFORE payment 2. Verify all charges match your treatment plan 3. Consider payment documentation requirements This experience reflects poorly on the clinic's financial transparency. Management should retrain staff on ethical billing practices and basic client relations.

Negative experience: I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with Jobeline but i am shocked and appaled by the care i recieved from Dr. Christina Shue today. I came in for increasing pain and sensitivity between the crevices of my teeth from a filling. Christina looked at my tooth for less than 3 minutes and sat me right up telling me there was no issue. Despite me complaining about the same issue months ago and still being offered zero solution from her at that time too. She tried to blame it on a previous dentists work despite me developing pain and sensitivity after i got a filling at her clinic. Mind you the pain is in the same exact area the filling was completed. When i asked for an x ray or a more lengthy examination she refused and said that could be done in 2 months at my next clean and check up even though i was experiencing pain and discomfort today. What type of care is that? Why should a patient have to wait months when they’re obviously uncomfortable today. She then said i was already taking up her lunch break and “didnt appreciate it” as if i asked to be booked in for a 15 minute time slot? She offered me zero solutions and showed zero care or empathy. Please consider this before booking with her.

Fantastic experience: Booked in to get a wisdom tooth pulled. They were efficient and friendy and the price was reasonable. I look forward to getting my other wisdoms pulled. ****Edit****7 years later. So I never got the other wisdoms pulled, I got some more work done recently by a different dentist, absolutely great people to work with, they were very knowledgeable and seemed to me to be very good at their jobs. I honestly think I should be paying more for what they provide.

Fantastic experience: Dr Christina & Jobeline really made me feel comfortable, especially for someone who’s very anxious about visiting dentist… as I’ve only been once in my life (please don’t judge). I instantly felt taken care by the 2 Doctors and my anxiety went away. The pain was minimal, and before I knew it, I was on my way. Got some oral hygiene tips too from Jobeline before leaving to ensure healthier practices. Can’t recommend them enough, from first interaction till last there was always a smile on their face. I am anxious and have sensitive teeth, but I did not feel any pain or sensitivity. Dr Jennifer was very gentle and thorough! Ashley was very friendly! Nav meet was also very gentle and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with 2 dentists caring for me. Dr Jennifer suggested ways to prevent tooth decay, prevent toothaches, and look after the long term health of my teeth and oral health : ) Thank you! :D

Fantastic experience: Professional and the best Dentist in Melbourne. Why I like them ? I know they’re highly skilled, also very empathetic and very sympathetic. Their display of their clinic is very comfy and you’re made to feel welcome and it shows. They’re a loving and caring workplace and their staff look show Enthusiasm and initiative. Recently as I waited to pay I overheard that their staff members would be back- she was just picking up the kids from school. Knowing how flexible they are to their staff gives off waves of integrity and sincerity. If they trat their staff so well you can’t saune they care about their patients just as much.

Negative experience: Beware of this dental clinic. My wife had dental surgery requiring an extraction, the dentist was in such a rush that half of the tooth was left without extraction... While we contacted the clinic on 2 occasions after a week of strong pain medication, the receptionist staff constantly advised there were no appointments... This is while my wife was in so much pain she couldn't raise her head and had to lie down for nearly a week.... Left her requiring 2 additional dental visits at another dental clinic elsewhere to remove the left over piece and also treat infection that followed... Service seems like a 'drive through' experience... Visit at own risk and make sure you have a follow up appointment at another Dental clinic elsewhere if you decide to visit this place for treatment...

Negative experience: Made an appointment for my 1 years old daughter one month ago. When making appointment I particularly asked to see Dr Susan Zhang which made me waited for a month. Our appointment is 12.15pm. I received a miss call from them at 10.20am when I was with my daughter in her swimming class. I called back and was told my appointment was changed to another dentist because Dr Susan had a gap when they calling me, however she is not available any more because I missed their call. I said I booked with Dr Susan particularly one month ago. She said Dr susan does not take new patient. I said i am not new patient. Anyway, I had no choices and had to change to another dentist. Then they called again at 11. 59am, she is available at that point of course i missed it again. When we got in there, she got a new patient coming out and asked the receptionist : what was the name of this dentist i saw. I suggest who wants to see Dr Susan needs to stand by their phone on the day of appointment. If you missing their call, you will be arranged randomly. They think that's your problem because you didn't stand by. So good luck. Don't silence you phone on the day of appointment. Excuse me! In addition, if I have booked any dentist, i would see a dentist one month ago. When I making an appointment, you did have spot. Because of Dr susan only available in one month, I waited for one month. Anyway, your clinic is walk-in only so just don't need book at all.

Negative experience: Horrible communication. Had an operation, then told afterwards "come back because you've got a lot of things going on in your mouth". Couldn't ask questions because my mouth had been numbed and they didn't bother taking the 2-3 minutes required to explain anything, just rushed me out. When I rung back another day asking for more details was told they'd ring me back and never did. I had to go to a different dental clinic for a checkup just to find out what these other problems were. Needless to say I won't be back

Fantastic experience: It was a great experience for me and my 4 year old son. Doctor Christina was friendly and very professional. Michael actually enjoyed his visit because doctor was guiding him through the process and showed him the chair, dental mirrors, suction, brushes. Michael stayed very calm during his dental hygiene and had no stress at all.

Negative experience: Very poor communication. Appointment has been changed three times. Reception called up the first time even has the wrong dentist on my profile to arrange appointment. Very unprofessional the way to do business. Now I need to find another dentist, cancel my work just to cover their mistake so that I can use my limit on my insurance before it reset.
