Fantastic experience: The practice is operated in a professional manner that treats patients with respect. Dentist Dr. Shagana cared for me & was very gentle, sensitive, & kind in approach ing the procedure of caring for my teeth. She was supportive & showed empathy. She went to great lengths to reassure me that all would go well in the special procedure & took special care in achieving that. I would recommend this clinic. This review is moving forward from 2 years ago. DR. Shagana, is professional & friendly . She is knowledgeable & explains whatever the treatment that is required & discusses options that best suits. She is kind & patient & listens to what the patient's requests are. They have the latest technology at the clinic & makes treatment so much easier & less painful. The staff as a whole are helpful & obliging & always have a smile.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Glenferrie Dental, Hawthorn was fantastic! I had a complete upper arch implant. I am THRILLED with the results; so natural-looking, matching my original teeth, as per my request, only now they're literally perfect! I lived with a partial denture for 15 years and what a relief it is to have permanent teeth after all these years, no longer having to remove the denture each night... I feel confident with my smile for the first time in years. The staff have been so supportive, from Catherine's patience, helping me to access my superannuation with minimal stress, to the kind reception staff, the supportive and skilled dental nurses and hygienists, and of course, the exemplary skill of my dentist, Dr Peter. I was allowed to alter the temporary arch three times, until I was satisfied with the permanent arch, demonstrating Glenferrie Dentals commitment to customer satisfaction. The recovery time was very manageable and I've been scheduled for regular check-ups to maintain the results and my ongoing dental hygiene. I highly recommend Glenferrie Dental for life-changing dental work. You won't regret the experience. A HUGE thank you to the team!

Fantastic experience: Glenferrie Dental was the third dentist I went to and I’m so glad I did because the atmosphere was amazing. It doesn’t even look like a dentist and the receptionist staff are definitely delightful and so happy all the time which helps be a calm place. Catherine had me feeling so relaxed about everything as I have a phobia about dentists and she’s a very calm caring lady. I had gone to Fox Dental first and they quoted me $35,000 but I am glad I came here because I didn’t pay anything close to that. And Peter Laird is such a special dentist very friendly very calm and kind person and has a way of keeping you relaxed. I couldn’t recommend them enough. Looking forward to the rest of my journey.

Everyone has been so considerate and my dentist explains everything- not like other dentists who just tell you what you need done without ever showing you on X-rays and photographs! I have some dental anxiety as well and Dr Shagana and her assistant Kendra are really patient and always checking in with me which I really appreciate. Dental is so important to get right, I realise dental is a luxury for people but Dr Shagana is worth every cent!!

Negative experience: dr laird is lovely and very accommodating and understanding of trauma. shagana on the other hand was extremely disrespectful as was her blonde assistant who both enjoyed treating me like garbage. first I was made to prepay before going in to my checkup and clean? have never had to do that before in my entire life. then I was left waiting for 30+ minutes for my early morning appointment, no apologies from her at all when she finally got around to attending to me. then she left me in the x-ray machine long after it had finished while she chatted with someone in the hallway. she then asked me how I sustained damage to my teeth, not something I wanted to go into as it was a distressing memory. no understanding or empathy at all. she then pushed me to make a decision about a treatment plan and speak to finance when I would have preferred to go home and think it over since I was in tears. I was going to get work done here but after my experience with these women I'm not going to spend $10k on dental work by people who treat clients like this. also no, I'm not putting my real name on here so don't even ask.

Fantastic experience: I had more recently had an adverse experience with this clinic after COVID; however, after the changeover of administration and a new dental practitioner team, this Practice has changed drastically in the last six months. They are now located on Glenferrie Road above Mountford Shoes in an incredibly luxurious and spacious setting. It is like no dental clinic I have experienced before. The administration team is beyond comparison; it is rare to experience customer service at this level today. Their attention to detail, subject expertise, and conflict-resolution skills are impeccable. On top of that, their dental practitioners are using modern technology and up to date research to administer their care for a new-age dental experience. Having been to this clinic before and after COVID, this is a very different clinic now with very competent professionals.

Catherine went through everything with me explaining so clearly everything & putting me at ease with my going forward & decision making. And then Dr Peter Laird came in. He was so gentle, caring, compassionate & very knowledgeable with all aspects of dentistry. Straight away, I knew that I could trust him & that he really cared & wanted to do the best for me that he could possibly do. Dr Peter & Catherine sat with me for three quarters of an hour- as they clearly explained everything to me about my procedure. Fantastic experience: I had my wisdom tooth extracted here. They were very professional and accommodating. The receptionists were all welcoming. They kept in check with me even after the procedure to ensure everything is going well on my end and were quick to respond when I call for questions. Dr. Devanandan was very informative and accomodating for my situation. During the procedure she kept reassuring me and ensured it was a painless surgery. I had to go through sedation, but had no one available to pick me up as it was a Tuesday working weekday, so they let me rest at their waiting station till sufficiently recovered then packed my stuff for me and had two nurses accompany me to my Uber ensuring I was safe and am on the right car. Fantastic experience: Approximately 3 months ago I had the pleasure of just stumbling across Glen ferry dental in my pursuit looking for an implant denyesterday I've had several phone calls with different dentists and was quite shocked by the price for a start on ringing Glenn ferry the the girls at the front were so just so how could I say professional and just made me feel so comfortable so I am also a fan yet that I had a free complimentary visit which took in all the photographing exercise of Mo tooth maplid etc etc etc and then a date was fixed for early January I think 16th of January for the procedure but unfortunately for me because of having a polite phone

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going to Glenferrie Dental for a number of years and find the quality of all dentists to be impeccable - of the highest standard and using the latest technologies. All are very personable and communicate well with kids. In addition to standard check ups, I had a crown inserted which all went very smoothly. I am considering invisalign and they can do that in-house without having to go to an orthodontist which seems convenient. New rooms are also very luxurious.
