Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Andrew Harrold for about 10 years now and I could not recommend a better dentist. Before seeing him my teeth were a mess - it felt like I was constantly playing catch up with fillings. Since seeing Andrew I’ve been able to stay on top of the health of my teeth and only get the occasional bit of work when an old filling has worn out or something. I attribute this to Dr Harrold’s proactive approach, eye for detail and passion for his work. He catches and fixes any potential issues long before they are an issue. It might be hard to believe but I enjoy going to the dentist for my 6 monthly check ups.

Fantastic experience: What can I say about this practice! I had a tooth that was giving me the worst pain I've ever experienced. First I called, discussed about the emergency, and was given the option to go in the same day. When I went there, they went above and beyond to ease my pain, even took me in earlier than planned. The front desk ladies were so compassionate - hard to find elsewhere! Dr Andrew is an Angel, simply put. He took all my dentist fears away forever, removed 2 teeth without feeling any pain, and felt that above an exceptional professional, he is a human. When I finished, expecting to pay a lot more given the emergency and care I was provided for, I was so surprised about the bill. Couldn't recommend this practice more, the team is awesome, the prices are very affordable, and the actual service they provide is top notch! Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr Andrew Harold for some time now. Going to the dentist is never fun. However, I have found Andrew delivers very high-quality work, friendly and practical. Rather than rush into unnecessary treatment (unless the issue is urgent), he will set up dental management plans so the you can keep track of, and address issues before they become major problems.

Fantastic experience: I'm from the USA, and I was so excited to visit Australia and New Zealand. Unfortunately, I developed a tooth ache that wouldn't go away, and only got worse while in Sydney. I tried an over-the-counter med which didn't give me any relief. I knew I had to see a dentist asap, so I started a Google search from my hotel and came across a few dental offices within a close distance. Choosing a dental office, especially in an unfamiliar country is not easy. I just hoped that all the good comments that were posted for Macquarie Dental were true. We found the office and walked into a very clean and welcoming environment. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. I was in such stress and pain, I couldn't think straight. I am so grateful that they took me in as an emergency, and especially the excellent care given to me by Dr. Michael Salloum and his assistant. Dr. Salloum is so kind and explained everything after he took x-rays. He did an emergency phase root canal. It was like all the stars were in alignment for me! I was able to enjoy our vacation! Thank You Macquarie Dental!

All the work I’ve had done from a dental implant, crown replacements, fillings, minor cosmetic work and regular maintenance has been fantastic. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand. The entire staff there is very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: Drs. Lutton and Harrold are highly skilled dentists and dental surgeons. In my case, they removed an infected tooth, have already replaced several deteriorated fillings, and cleaned my teeth. They managed to perform all of these activities with little to no pain, even the removal of the infected tooth. They are also excellent communicators. Finally, their charges are very reasonable. As a recent arrival in Australia, I was paying from 3 to 5 times the Macquarie team's charges in my prior resident country for these same services. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

After years of Dental phobia and much work needed, Dr Lutton and Dr Harold have made dental visits much easier to deal with and no longer a stressful experience and all work has been of been done with great care and quality. Fantastic experience: I'm new to the area and after unexpectedly chipping my tooth I needed an emergency dental visit. The team at Macquarie Dental was extremely helpful and got me an appointment within 24 hours. My in-person experience was equally great – from the central location to the clean office and most importantly to Dr Harrold. His gentle touch left me with zero pain during the treatment and his work has been excellent – the tooth is holding up extremely well several months later. I have since been back for a routine cleaning and continue to be very happy with the service. I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m so grateful to have found Dr Harrold. I can’t recommend him enough!

I started attending the clinic over a year ago to start the invisalign process but needed quite a bit of work done before starting, and Dr Andrew was extremely thorough and made me feel very at ease, and I'm delighted with the results of my invisalign treatment. But with Andrew, he took care of my teeth like it was his babies, we had a plan on how to fix everything up and its the first time in a while where I felt what good teeth was like. In particular I just wanted to pass on feedback on Ricky this time around. He's an outstanding dentist and person. His demeanour and professionalism are an absolute credit to the surgery. Where we live the are plenty of Dentists around Parramatta but Rickys service keeps my family with you guys! He makes my 5 yo daughter so comfortable and provokes a curiosity about dentistry in her, answering all her questions and entertaining her so naturally too all while doing a great job on keeping her mouth healthy. Fantastic experience: Absolutely top dental practice! I have a history of teeth problems having had my two front chompers smashed by a hockey stick when I was 14, in grade 9 physical education class. My Brisbane family dentist took such good care of me, I’d never been able to find anywhere I trusted, or felt comfortable with, until I came across Macquarie Dental in my late 20’s. I was referred here by one of the country’s best endodonists. That speaks volumes. Since becoming a patient, I’ve never looked back. Dr Andrew Harrold is my dentist and he’s so good I simply don’t ever want to see anyone else. However on one occasion I had to go with another dentist at Macquarie Dental for a crown emergency and it was still faultless and stress free. I can’t recommend this practice highly enough. If you want the best care for your teeth, this is it.

Fantastic experience: Was looking for a dentist as I couldn't get in with my regular dentist and ended up at 2am booking online at Macquarie Dental because I was in so much discomfort and couldn't sleep. Managed to get an appointment with Andrew at 8am that day. Andrew is a lovely calm guy, explained the problem and process clearly and most importantly relieved my pain. Super happy! It is pretty incredible that I didn't experience any pain over the recovery period while every google search suggested so. Dr. Harold is very careful and gentle while working on my teeth, even the rinsing water is warm just shows how caring he is with his patient. Gayle is very organised and on top of managing the appointments, it's always happy and delightful to chat to her during every visit. I can’t recommend them enough!

Negative experience: I have actually had the worst root canal experience.. after my treatment I’ve been asked to paid more than agreed amount because dr Andrew claimed he spent a lot of time on my tooth and it is good as a crown. Funny thing my tooth chipped after 3 days. It’s been fixed but I was almost the one to blame.. And it’s been months now I have constant pain.. my tooth hasn’t gotten any better. And I am scared to go to the clinic to defend myself as the doctor wasn’t understanding and aware of his mistake.. I wouldn’t want anyone to experience what happened to me.. I would personally advice to look for other doctors.

Often I reach late and they accomodate and spend more time per case than attending many cases in a day. The practice has all modern equipment. Lastly the charges are reasonably priced. Fantastic experience: Dr Harrold was recommended by a specialist endodontist and as a patient, I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is personable, punctual and particular. He provides excellent dental care and follow up. He communicates clearly and is obviously focused on optimal outcomes. His staff are friendly, helpful and efficient.

Dr. Andrew Harrold is an absolute gem: he always explains what and why needs to be done, also the pros and cons of different options (when there are several to choose from), he's very careful yet quick and efficient when working on my teeth, and checks on my during the procedures.
