After climbing the staircase you will enter the ultra-modern, pristine clinic of Dr Vincent. Most welcoming receptionist completes the picture. I was so grateful that my requirement for urgent dental work was slotted in that day, as well as the day following and I’m sure Dr Vincent performed a miracle to save my overly-loose front tooth. He is so thorough in providing options available, even checking my private health rebates for chosen procedure. He is sincerely the most professional and gifted dentist I have encountered in my long life, and blessed also with such considerate and kind staff. He has a very acute sense of humour as well. Fantastic experience: Dr Sarosh Morani was fantastic! After visiting for an issue regarding my only symptom of teeth sensitivity, she had a thorough look and proceeded to organise an X-ray to be taken - which uncovered tooth decay in my back molar. Through the entire diagnostic phase, Dr Sarosh was very welcoming with her time and gave me a full brief on what she uncovered and the best steps forward. The next time I visited was to treat the decay and restore the tooth. Photos were taken before, during and after the procedure and the tooth looks identical to before - minus the decay and sensitivity. I would highly recommend this practice and in particular, Dr Sarosh and her assistant Vanessa. Thanks again! :)

Negative experience: I visited this clinic due to a toothache. I paid $750 for a molar extraction, I admit that in my ignorance of dentist charges, I agreed on the $750 but in retrospective, I think $750 is excessively expensive, unless it is a standard price for a non emergency molar extraction.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this place. Doctor Sarosh was very kind and patient with me. She explained everything very clearly and I felt really comfortable. Also she wasn’t in a rush and she gave me different options to choose from. I definitely will come back to see her.

Negative experience: edit- have since been told by two other dentists that my treatment was not correct. 6mnths on I'm having surgery to remove large teeth fragments left behind after $500each extractions from FocusOnDental. (WAS CALLED AND HARASSED TO CHANGE MY INITIAL REVIEW, I REFUSE ANY OFFER; SUSPICIOUS AND NOT NICE) Dentists already cost a fortune, this dentist, not only switched dentists half way through my care and didn’t say anything, the reception staff nor the dentists themselves. I continued attending for treatment here and there. At a point, I decided to agree to a bigger treatment, that would cost me a bit, I was worried, I thought of the worst case scenario for cost. My “worst case” was very humble, literally has left me broke to the point of dollars and cos of this was offered a free second opinion and consultation. With their shock on the price and then opinion on work done was told to go elsewhere to someone that was a specialist. I’m still so upset and disappointed, a frequent customer, one that would’ve required ongoing care you didn’t offer any kind of payment plans or anything. Being on the pension it took a long time to save that money up. Was meant to last me the whole treatment and it would have, elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Dr Vincent is incredibly reassuring, taking you through each step of the process and checking to make sure you’re comfortable with the treatment plan. I really appreciated being given options for ways to move forward, and the flexibility of payment options meant I didn’t have to hold off on getting important work done. Plus, yes, very gentle with the needles! The assistants are also really friendly, reassuring, and helpful in answering any questions.

Negative experience: I found this dentist overpriced and he said all of my old fillings needed re-doing. I got a second opinion and found that it was not the case at all.

After chipping most of my front tooth away, I was able to make an emergency appointment at Focus on Dental for the same day. Dr Wesley and his DA's were super helpful and took care in their work. The fix looks even better than the parts of the tooth it replaced. Well relieved to be able to go into the weekend with a smile.

Fantastic experience: If you need a really good dentist for toddlers and kids, look no further! I took our 4yr daughter to see Dr Wesley and he was a God send. It was our toddlers' first time at the dentist and Dr Wesley made the whole experience comfortable and fun for her. She was even able to have a filling done without any issues. I highly recommend Dr Wesley and his friendly assistant Vanessa, we will defintely take our kids back. Even my husband and I will be booking ourselves in here for future dental services.

Negative experience: I went there a few weeks ago. The dentist was not professional at all, he was in a hurry to get to the next patient, so he made me feel like he didn't care about my problem. Also it is super expensive!!! He said I needed certain treatment and he said it would cost around $8,000 and that was the average price all over Melbourne (which is not! It's max $4,000) and he didn't want to send me my x-rays. I found another dentist in Flemington way more professional and way cheaper. Replying to your answer, I DID go, I have two names so normally for doctors or dentists I use my first name. And thanks for answering, apology accepted.

Positive experience: Good bloke, good job, verrry expensive. $482 to grind down a tooth and refill a filling that had come out included a $90.00 plus consultation fee. Consultation was maybe 20 minutes, filling 15 mins. I thought about $150 worth. I previously rated this business at 2 stars but after my comments re. I thought it was verrry expensive, I was contacted by management and told that because I wasn't satisfied price wise they were refunding me the full amount which they immediately did. Because of this I now rate this practice verrry highly.

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience ever. A welcoming and clean clinic, with incredibly lovely staff. Booked at 2am for a 2:40pm visit when I was dealing with extreme wisdom tooth pain, and managed to get it taken out that day. Vincent managed to get it out root and all in an insanely quick time. I've been healing with no pain, and zero complications. I can't recommend him enough.

Was immediately booked in within 2 hours and friendly reception made the process hassle free (thanks Amber!). I felt no pain during and after the procedure, do not be afraid to get a root canal, especially with Dr.Huang :) Great service, Dr. Huang even follow up with text messages after the procedure to ensure that he is available to be reached if i had any discomfort or questions, which is a 5 stars service for sure! highly recommend Focus on dental. 10/10 as far as the root canal went!

I find that Dr Huang belongs to a new line of dentistry, one which is focused on education and prevention as opposed to just fixing issues when they do come up. Fantastic experience: I've had a phobia of dentists and needles all my life, so you can imagine how terrified I was when I needed to have emergency dental work done! I don't feel that way any longer! Dr Vincent and the team at Focus on Dental have been absolutely amazing! It's thanks to how wonderful they've been that I'm finally getting my long-standing dental issues fixed. This is after years of ignoring them. Dr Vincent has taken my fears seriously and at all times has been patient and kind with me. I was worried about being judged for neglecting my teeth, but his understanding has made a world of difference to me. On each visit he has clearly explained where I'm at and what work is needed. He's always willing to answer any questions I have and to go over my options so I can choose what I want to do. That really helps me feel better and more in control about it all. I've talked a bit about the personal side of visiting Focus on Dental, but -- whether or not you have a fear of dentists like me -- I really can't recommend this place highly enough. Definitely deserving of more than the 5 stars!!! Yesterday, I had the first stage of a root canal done. I had no pain at all afterwards and have no pain now and that's all due to how amazing Dr Vincent and everyone there is.
