Fantastic experience: Always friendly and helpful as soon as you walk in

Negative experience: Call to see if doctors could give me a referral for pcr test the lady had no idea a pcr test is. Told me to go to clinical lab they will do pcr test don’t need referral. Well news flash u do need a referral I stop going to this clinic two year ago. My son was so sick they wouldn’t looked at him now. And he’s only six months old disgusting Never gonna back to this clinic

The receptionist is always friendly, all the doctors Especially Dr Melanie Teo make me feel like I'm a person NOT A JUST NUMBER. The systems & procedure's the clinic has in place are easy to use especially booking an appointment with a reminder SMS the day before the appointment. 10/10. I look forward to my next visit.

Dr Sugantha & Dr Madan the husband and wife team who run it are not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled doctors, but they also lead with integrity, warmth, and a deep sense of ethical responsibility. Their leadership shines through in every aspect of the clinic—from the calm, happy atmosphere to the genuinely friendly staff who treat you like a person, not just a patient. If you’ve been there a few times, they greet you by name—it really does feel like the “family village” their name suggests. They offer a wide range of specialties too, from babies and pregnancy care to travel medicine, skin checks and everyday health needs. It’s a one-stop clinic with heart and soul. What’s even more impressive is that they’re also a teaching facility. They generously pass on their incredible knowledge and high standards to up-and-coming doctors, giving the next generation of practitioners the best possible start. Fantastic experience: I think it's been about 9 years that I've been seeing Dr Sugantha, and even though I've moved to Nth Qld I still make my appointments to see her when I'm in Melbourne. And I travel from werribee across town to Carrum Downs to do so. And I will continue to do so for as long as I'm able. There's more to being a doctor than just prescribing beds, and Dr Sugantha and her staff, along with Madan provide something more than just a diagnosis of issues, there's a professional and comfortable feeling of knowing they care and you are in good hands. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice, there are a lot that could learn from it.

Negative experience: I needed help and went to see a doctor. Took my DVA card in and was requested paperwork that was not needed in order for my appointment. I'm very familiar with the process, having seen many doctors and done this method DVA had told me to follow. Yet this client thinks otherwise. Very bad experience.

Fantastic experience: Dr Selina was lovely and took the time to really listen. The reception staff are nice but can’t hear what you’re saying due to the COVID safe plastic screen. So difficult to communicate through this. I wish there was another option

Negative experience: My experience visiting this place today is that it was over priced. They charge $31 on top of circa $45 bulk billing payment they get from the government. I would absolutely have gotten the same consultation at a bulk billing doctor that doesn’t charge the extra money. Nothing special here, mediocre at best.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I are the patients with village family medical centre in Carrum downs since 2016! They have lovely and really friendly staff and doctors too ! Specially Dr Femi , he is so caring and respectful Dr with great knowledge of different area ! My wife is paraplegic from last 6 years and had 4 surgeries for her spinal cord but every time we go to Dr Femi he knows what to do before we even go to any surgeons and he always give best advise in a such a positive way which make my wife feel really comfortable to speak to him for any advice before going to specialist! And also staff are really lovely and they show really good energy every time when we walk into the centre !

Fantastic experience: Dr Sugantha is very caring and thorough with me. Nothing is a bother to her and she takes the time to listen. Also Dr Madden and Sumah are wonderful.

Negative experience: Terrible customer service. Were extremely hard to deal with when trying to transfer information to a new doctors clinic. Told to come in and sign a consent form, so did so. Then when no information had been sent through, we called up and was advised we had to pay $2 per page of information being sent across. Perhaps advise EVERYTHING that needs to be done when initially at the clinic rather than wasting people’s time.

They listen and care about their patients and Dr Maddan saved my life, finding something that most doctors would have simply passed off as something minor.The doctors are fantastic with my family and my children who have special needs and they are happy to attend due to the nurturing and caring approach. We trust the doctors 100% and although we adore our family doctor, Dr Maddan, we know if we can’t see him, all of the doctors are wonderful and we will get the best possible care. Every doctor takes the time to explain each step in simple terms and are reassuring.
